- Abstract
The altered mineral assemblage was studied in the Bawaiyang ore district and other Pb-Zn deposits in central Fujian. The results showed that pyroxenes from the deposits are similar to those from skarn Pb-Zn deposits, being Mn-rich diopside and hedenbergite with features of distal skarn pyroxenes. They are mostly skarn-type deposits and partly hydrothermal deposits controlled by faults. The deposits were subjected to metamorphism, replacement, superposition along the bed, strong reformation or remobilisation and deposition by Yanshanian tectono- magmatic hydrothermal fluids., The altered mineral assemblage was studied in the Bawaiyang ore district and other Pb-Zn deposits in central Fujian.
