Proven and probable reserves at Tizapa in 2010 totalled 12 737 557 t grading 1.72 g/t Au, 196.00 g/t Ag, 1.17% Pb, 5.16% Zn and 0.31% Cu. Production was 626 490 t at 1.83 g/t Au, 2.37 g/t Ag, 1.43% Pb, 6.30% Zn, 0.35% Cu and 34.47% Fe; three concentrates were produced, grading 24.32% Cu, 22.56% Pb and 51.17% Zn respectively, with 53.9% of Au and 62.83% of Ag recovered to the Pb concentrate. Ore microscopy shows freibergite ore containing inclusions of electrum, chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena.
