- Abstract
The oxidation of chalcocite was studied during sulphuric acid leaching, ferric sulphate leaching and bioleaching by measuring the pH, redox potential and leaching rate under various conditions. The results showed that oxidation was accelerated in the ferric sulphate and bacterial leaching processes.
