In autonomous driving, the high-definition (HD) map plays a crucial role in localization and planning. Recently, several methods have facilitated end-to-end online map construction in DETR-like frameworks. However, little attention has been paid to the potential capabilities of exploring the query mechanism. This paper introduces MapQR, an end-to-end method with an emphasis on enhancing query capabilities for constructing online vectorized maps. Although the map construction is essentially a point set prediction task, MapQR utilizes instance queries rather than point queries. These instance queries are scattered for the prediction of point sets and subsequently gathered for the final matching. This query design, called the scatter-and-gather query, shares content information in the same map element and avoids possible inconsistency of content information in point queries. We further exploit prior information to enhance an instance query by adding positional information embedded from their reference points. Together with a simple and effective improvement of a BEV encoder, the proposed MapQR achieves the best mean average precision (mAP) and maintains good efficiency on both nuScenes and Argoverse 2. In addition, integrating our query design into other models can boost their performance significantly. The code will be available at https://github.com/HXMap/MapQR.

However, PMs on the rotor are prone to centrifugal force, which may break their physical integrity, particularly at high-speed operation. Typically, PMs are bound with carbon fiber or retained by alloy sleeves on the rotor surface. This paper is concerned with the design of a rotor retaining sleeve for a 1.12-MW 18-kr/min PM machine; its electromagnetic performance is investigated by the 2-D finite-element method (FEM). Theoretical and numerical analyses of the rotor stress are carried out. For the carbon fiber protective measure, the stresses of three PM configurations and three pole filler materials are compared in terms of operating temperature, rotor speed, retaining sleeve thickness, and interference fit. Then, a new hybrid protective measure is proposed and analyzed by the 2-D FEM for operational speeds up to 22 kr/min (1.2 times the rated speed). The rotor losses and machine temperatures with the carbon fiber retaining sleeve and the hybrid retaining sleeve are compared, and the sleeve design is refined. Two rotors using both designs are prototyped and experimentally tested to validate the effectiveness of the developed techniques for PM machines. The developed retaining sleeve makes it possible to operate megawatt PM machines at high speeds of 22 kr/min. This opens doors for many high-power high-speed applications such as turbo-generator, aerospace, and submarine motor drives.

Fengying Quan, Guangwei Liu, Liang Wang, Xuefeng WangDepartment of Neurology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Chongqing, ChinaPurpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the distribution and antimicrobial susceptibility of pathogenic bacteria in inpatients with pulmonary infection in the neurological intensive care unit (NICU).Methods: A total of 947 sputum specimens of 428 inpatients from May 2007 to May 2008 in the NICU were enrolled in the study, and bacterial identification and antibiotic susceptibility tests were analyzed using a VITEK 2 system.Results: A total of 400 positive bacterial strains were separated from 947 sputum specimens, with Gram-negative bacteria accounting for 69.0% of the total strains collected. The most common strain of Gram-negative bacteria was Klebsiella pneumoniae (20.5%). Gram-positive bacteria accounted for 10.0% of the total strains, with the most common strain being Staphylococcus aureus (2.5%). Fungal species accounted for 21.0% of the total strains, and the most common strain collected was Candida albicans (12.25%). Imipenem was the most effective antibiotic against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The drug resistance rate of Gram-positive bacteria to penicillin G was 100%, and the Gram-positive bacteria were 100% sensitive to teicoplanin, vancomycin, and linezolid.Conclusions: Gram-negative bacterial infections account for the majority of pulmonary infections in the NICU, with fungal infections being the second most common infection type observed. In addition, fungal infections seem to be related to mortality in the NICU.Keywords: nosocomial infection, pulmonary infection, drug resistance, neurological intensive care unit
