- Abstract
99mTc-Sn-DTPA renogram curves and background curves were made using the data store play back system. Gain of each kidney was obtained from each renogram curve and background curve. Kidney gain was compared with renal plasma flow obtained from 131I-Hippuran renogram. Both correlated well and the coefficient index was 0.96. From our results, 99mTc-DTPA renogram was thought to be a useful examination of split renal function. Comparison of 99mTc-Sn-DTPA and 99mTc-Sn-DMSA renal scintigram disclosed that the former was superior to the latter in renal dynamic imaging and it was reverse in reno-cortical imaging. 99mTc-Sn-DTPA scintiscan would be a useful clinical examination of split renal function as well as of renal morphology.
