Introduction: Laterality is an important part of human development that involves the ability to recognize and use the dominant side of the body to perform basic tasks. Objective: Propose a children's songbook as a teaching strategy to strengthen laterality in spatial intelligence Methods: This study was developed under the modality of a feasible project, for which the parts proposed by Dubs (2002) were considered: title, context, objectives, justification, reference framework, methodology, diagnosis or evaluation of needs, formulation of the proposal, feasibility or viability analysis and recommendations. To collect the information, we worked with documentary review, interviews and observation. The study context was the Educational Units with the level of Initial Education of the parish of “Guangaje” in Ecuador for which 6 institutions were selected. Results: The effectiveness of using children's songs as a teaching strategy for the development of laterality in spatial location was evidenced. Conclusions: The use of children's songs as a teaching strategy for the development of laterality in spatial intelligence in early education infants can be beneficial to stimulate, among other things, the development of laterality in spatial location., Introducción: La lateralidad es una parte importante del desarrollo humano que implica la capacidad de reconocer y utilizar el lado dominante del cuerpo para realizar tareas básicas. As children’s songs, the Songs of the Farm, of Latin American origin and of Anglo-Saxon and Romanesque roots, currently have a significant social impact, due to their wide dissemination and communicative scope. This study attempts to show that these songs contain elements that may promote, playfully and rhythmically, the emergence of linguistic elements in children of three and four years, initial level. With the aim of anticipate the possible effects of listening these songs at an early age, we conducted a cognitivist cutting research focused on the continuum study of phonic traits, lexical play and syntactic categories present in the selected corpus., En tanto canciones infantiles, las Canciones de la Granja, de origen latinoamericano y de raíces anglosajonas y románicas, poseen en la actualidad una significativa repercusión social, debido a su amplia difusión y alcance comunicativo. El presente estudio intenta mostrar que estas canciones contienen elementos capaces de promover, lúdica y rítmicamente, la emergencia de elementos lingüístico discursivos en niños de tres y cuatro años, de nivel inicial. Con el fin de anticipar los efectos relevantes que podría provocar su escucha a temprana edad, se realizó una investigación desde el marco funcional cognitivo, centrado en el estudio en continuum de rasgos fónicos, juego léxico y categorías sintácticas, presentes en el corpus seleccionado.

Early ChildhoodEducation students have very much in mind songswhich maybecome important educational tools. From the subject of "Musical Processes in Early Childhood Education", the thematic unit for vocal training trainedfuture teachers in the use of traditional vocal repertoire and, at the same time, in the knowledgeof territorial cultural heritage. We wanted to demonstrate how the competence in "Cultural Awareness and Expressions" could be worked from this early stage, understanding it as a crucial moment for the establishment of respect for cultural otherness.For this purpose, working groups were organized to search for traditional children's songs, in versions from different Spanish autonomous communities. The aim was to carry out a comparative study, so that they could understandthe little difference between them. This allowed them to understand the importanceof the traditionalchildren's repertoire and how it can become a way ofknowing their musical heritage., El alumnado de Educación Infantil tiene muy presentes canciones que pueden convertirse en importantes herramientas educativas. Desde la asignatura de “Procesos Musicales en Educación Infantil”, la unidad temática destinada a la formación vocal estaba formando al futuro profesorado en el uso del repertorio vocal tradicional y, al mismo tiempo, en el conocimiento del patrimonio cultural territorial. Se quería demostrar cómo la competencia en “Conciencia y Expresiones Culturales” podía ser trabajada desde esta etapa temprana, comprendiéndola como momento crucial para el asentamiento del respeto de la alteridad cultural. Para ello, se organizaron grupos de trabajo que realizaron búsquedas de canciones infantiles tradicionales, en versiones de diferentes comunidades autónomas. Así, se trataba de realizar un estudio comparado, de modo que, pudiesen comprender la escasa diferencia entre ellas. Esto les permitió comprender la importancia del repertorio tradicional infantil y cómo puede llegar a convertirse en una forma de conocer su patrimonio musical.

The study aimed to reflect on the use of the parliaments in Integrative Community Therapy (TCI). The parliaments integrate popular culture and are verses with easy rhyme that deal with children's issues, often involving the association between reciting and expressing oneself. This is a qualitative study, carried out through the literature review, and the description of the use of speeches in two groups of Integrative Community Therapy in the Federal District, from 2015 to 2016. The study indicates that the use of TCI's team highlighted the importance of the valorization of cultural identity as a therapeutic strategy, contributing to the reception of participants, networking, strengthening of ties, reduction of tension, possibilities to re-characterize problems and overcome experiences of suffering., O estudo objetivou refletir sobre o uso das parlendas na Terapia Comunitária Integrativa (TCI). As parlendas integram a cultura popular e são versinhos com rima fácil que tratam de temas infantis, envolvendo, muitas vezes, a associação entre o recitar e o expressar-se corporalmente. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, realizado por meio da revisão de literatura, e da descrição do uso de parlendas em dois grupos de Terapia Comunitária Integrativa no Distrito Federal, no período de 2015 a 2016. O estudo sinaliza que o uso das parlendas nas rodas de TCI evidenciou a importância da valorização da identidade cultural como estratégia terapêutica, contribuindo para o acolhimento dos participantes, entrosamento, fortalecimento de vínculos, diminuição da tensão, possibilidades de ressignificar os problemas e superar vivências de sofrimento.

We could not have asked for a more fitting finale to Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker's 2014 State of the City Address than the performance offered by Sharon Moore's 4th Grade ELP class from Whittier Elementary singing their own, air-quality driven version of "Let It Snow", titled "The Frightful Inversion." Mayor Becker's speech was entirely focused on the actions that need to be taken right now to make a difference.

The students at Monroe Elementary in Monroe, Utah greeted Governor Gary R. Herbert with a song about the history of Utah. Governor Herbert visited Monroe Elementary to sign the bill making the Utah State Tree the Utah Quaking Aspen (SB41). The idea to change the State Tree originated with the 4th grade students in Ms. Blomquist's class.
