- Abstract
The texts featured by the liturgy for the feast of St Syrus in Genoa (died 381) show strata of remote origin, probably rooted in the Late Antiquity, and mediaeval sources, namely the Vita written by Jacobus de Varagine in his Legenda Aurea, and an ancient Vita.
