Sensemaking is the iterative process of identifying, extracting, and explaining insights from data, where each iteration is referred to as the “sensemaking loop.” However, little is known about how sensemaking behavior evolves from exploration and explanation during this process. This gap limits our ability to understand the full scope of sensemaking, which in turn inhibits the design of tools that support the process. We contribute the first mixed-method to characterize how sensemaking evolves within computational notebooks. We study 2,574 Jupyter notebooks mined from GitHub by identifying data science notebooks that have undergone significant iterations, presenting a regression model that automatically characterizes sensemaking activity, and using this regression model to calculate and analyze shifts in activity across GitHub versions. Our results show that notebook authors participate in various sensemaking tasks over time, such as annotation, branching analysis, and documentation. We use our insights to recommend extensions to current notebook environments.

The purpose of this research is to study and analyze the principles of muamalah fiqh that are contained in the book al-Asybah wa an-Nadhair by Imam Jalaluddin al-Suyuthi and its implementation in Indonesia. This type of research is library research, the data used is qualitative data obtained from a book study (book study) for 2 years, especially on the principles of muamalah fiqh. The method used in this thesis is descriptive-analytic-implementative, namely determining, describing, and objectively classifying the data being studied as well as interpreting the data, then the data that has been analyzed are compared to find common ground. Jalaluddin Abdurrahman bin Abi Bakr al-Suyuthi is a high priest, hadith expert, accomplished historian as well as linguist and a prolific writer. Imam al-Suyuthi was awarded by Allah Almighty the breadth of knowledge in seven different fields of religious knowledge, namely the science of interpretation, science of hadith, science of fiqh, science of nahwu, knowledge of ma'ani, science of bayan and science of badi '. In fact, he was so confident in giving himself superiority in front of the general public, he said, "In fact, my mastery of these seven sciences has not matched even among my teachers, except fiqh and history." The result of this research is that the method of istinbath al-Suyuthi in extracting the law of fiqh is not only referring to the Al-Qur'an and as-Sunnah as the main source, but al-Suyuthi also uses the comparative Madzhab approach (Hanafiyyah, Malikiyyah, Syafi ' iyyah and Hanabilah) which of course cannot be doubted the validity of which is comprehensive enough, so that it can give birth to fiqh principles that can be accepted among Muslim communities in general throughout the world, and even in Indonesia it has been made part of his fiqh principles as a valid legal product of fiqh. . Meanwhile, the correlation between fiqh al-Suyuthi and contemporary muamalat practice in Indonesia is still very relevant. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Pustaka (library research), data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif diperoleh dari kajian kitab (studi kitab) selama 2 tahun khusunya pada kaidah-kaidah fiqih muamalah. Metode yang digunakan dalam tesis ini bersifat deskriptif-analitik-implementatif yaitu menentukan, menggambarkan, dan mengklasifikasikan secara obyektif data yang dikaji sekaligus meng-interpretasi-kan data tersebut, kemudian data yang telah dianalisa dikomparasikan untuk ditemukan titik temu. The starting situation is that the production line does not have it, which generates important bottlenecks in the production process, due to the fact that the current detection system makes a global stop of the cartoner, with the consequent long times to reboot. Sometimes the stoppage is due to minimal failures, the start-up has to be complete, and the resetting of the cartoning machine is complex, due to the fact that the extraction of the wrong products in the line is required for safety reasons, this has high economic costs, time and personnel involved. With an automatic rejection system, what is intended is to keep the production process running, and only eliminate the specific product that has caused an error from the chain. The production process is kept running without stopping, and it is not necessary to make a long stoppage of the entire line due to minor failures. Automation through the pneumatic and electronic system also interprets when an error is recurring, and then stops production. This is very useful in reformatting and also allows failures to be consistently identified. Because we are working in the pharmaceutical industry, the design has been carried out based on the procedures: Creation of URS (User Requirement Services), design and online assembly of the equipment, and validations. Purpose: The main purpose of the study is the comparative analysis of total capital, total assets, net profit, return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE) and net interest margin (NIM) of 17 commercial banks operating in Armenia for several years are presented, the advantages and disadvantages of the banks with high and low results in the above-noted indicators have been briefly commented on.   Theoretical framework: Currently, the banking system of Armenia is the most developed one in comparison with other sectors of the economy, as the processes of attracting deposits, providing loans and fulfilling the standards set for commercial banks are regulated in line with the world experience. The object of study is operational environment of the banks.   Design/methodology/approach: The profitability indicators are considered to be the most basic tool for assessing the efficiency of operations carried out by commercial banks. Methodological tools of the study methods were interest income, interest expense and average annual return on profitable assets, which were analyzed separately.   Findings: The relevance of this scientific problem decision is that the negative consequences the COVID-19 pandemic within the business environment of the Armenian banking system have been studied.   Research, Practical & Social implications: In the context of new economic relations, the banking system holds an important part in ensuring the economic growth and economic development of any country, including the Republic of Armenia. Possible ways to increase the profitability of the Armenian banking system were suggested in this study, the existing challenges of the banking system were identified.   Originality/value: Based on the results of the research of the profitability indicators of the RA banking system and the conclusions drawn, several ways of increasing the profitability of banks were proposed.

Aim: This study aimed to investigate and evaluate the questioning strategies used in the classroom by middle school instructors. "What is the impact of dialogue-based questioning methods on middle school students' learning outcomes?" was the research question for the study. Methodology: A methodical search technique was used to find pertinent peer-reviewed papers written in English in order to meet the research objective. Key information regarding the different types of questioning techniques, impact on student engagement, improvement of critical thinking skills, student learning outcomes, teacher-student interaction, professional development, and teacher preparation was extracted from the studies that were chosen and synthesized. Results and conclusions: Results indicated that dialogue-based questioning techniques, such as open-ended inquiries, incisive inquiries, and Socratic inquiries, are successful in encouraging fruitful discussion, student participation, and the development of critical thinking abilities. Recommendations: Teachers should give priority to integrating different questioning strategies in order to promote discussion, stimulate active student participation, and improve critical thinking abilities. Practical Implications: The use of dialogue-based questioning techniques to improve student engagement, critical thinking, and learning outcomes, supported by efficient professional development programs, is one practical use.

Stable polynomials, in the context of this research, are two-variable polynomials like $p(z_1,z_2) = 2 - z_1 - z_2$ that are guaranteed to be non-zero if both input variables have an absolute value less than one in the complex plane. Stable polynomials are used in a variety of mathematical fields, thus finding ways to construct stable polynomials is valuable. An important property of these polynomials is whether they have boundary zeros, which are points in the complex plane where the polynomial equals zero and both variables have an absolute value of 1. Overall, it is challenging to find stable polynomials with boundary zeros. Our research focuses on a construction method that goes from graphs (collections of vertices connected by edges) to matrices (2-dimensional arrays of numbers) to stable polynomials. To better understand the stable polynomials obtained by this construction, we are motivated to discover the relationship between the initial graph and the final stable polynomial. The first collection of results shows that whether the first vertex and the last vertex are connected by some path in the graph determines whether the stable polynomial constructed has a boundary zero, and all constructed polynomials must have a specific boundary zero if they have one. The second collection of results shows that if the initial graph has one of five patterns, then the constructed polynomial is guaranteed to have a specific additional boundary zero. Our results enable the construction of stable polynomials with specific boundary zeros and the identification of boundary zeros based on given stable polynomial properties.

Undergraduate and post-graduate students in Agricultural Education at the University of Eswatini are required to review the literature as they write the research project or thesis. However, no study was conducted on the analysis of literature cited by students in Agricultural Education. Therefore, the study aimed at the analysis of literature cited in undergraduate (n=284) and post-graduate (N=57) students’ research project or theses in Agricultural Education at the University of Eswatini. A content analysis was employed to analyse the Agricultural Education research projects or theses found at Luyengo Library. A content analysis protocol having the following items was used: type of literature review, number of citations, differences in citations and reference list, the citation by discipline, and newness of literature. Findings of the study revealed the following regarding the literature: books were the main sources; the literature review predominantly was integrative; the literature had few sources and were from Agricultural Education; and was generally old. Therefore, it was concluded that the review of literature by both undergraduate and post-graduate students at UNESWA was wanting. Thus, it was recommended that the guidelines for both undergraduate and post-graduate programmes must be strengthened.

This study aims to analyze extroverted and introverted students using descriptive qualitative methods. Subject research was conducted with students in SMPN 12 Sarolangun. The population of the object is in the form of counseling guidance teachers, as many as 152 people, and students. The research sample used is in the form of whole students with total sampling techniques. This research collects data through a questionnaire given to students with 15 questions, 6 for extrovert students and 9 for introvert students. Data was analyzed from the questionnaire results to determine which students are extroverted or introverted. The calculation is that each question is 100 points multiplied by The number of students who voted yes and divided by the overall number of students. From the data, The results of the study were known to 14 (26.92%) introverted students and 38 (73.08%) extroverted students.

This research aims to determine student learning outcomes in work and energy subjects at the Jambi City Madrasah Aliyah Laboratory for the 2022/2023 academic year. The type of research that researchers have carried out is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were students of class X MIPA 1 and class X MIPA 2 at the Madrasah Aliyah Laboratory, Jambi City. The sample in this research was class X MIPA 1, totaling 20 students, using a purposive sampling technique. Researchers collected data using essay questions adjusted to the material work and energy indicators. The research results show that students' learning outcomes in work and energy materials are or are categorized in the Sufficient category.

Manuel Belgrano (1770-1820) was one of the most notable public men of the Río de La Plata both in the last decades of the Colonial Stage and in the first years of the independence process. His actions as a lawyer, economist, politician, diplomat and miitary, sometimes tends to generate a certain carelessness among contemporary analysts about his remarkable task as an Enlightened thinker. In this article we intend to analyze three aspects of one of his most notable works, we refer to the translation into Spanish of George Washington’s Farewell Address to the People of the United States written in 1796. Notable work on which we will focus in three aspects: we will analyze the process and the vicissitudes that Belgrano experienced to conceive, write and publicize his translation between the years 1805 and 1813, secondly, what were the principles that the monarchist Belgrano considered essential in the work of the republican Washington for justify its task, thirdly, what impact it had on the Río de la Plata in the first decades of the 19th century and finally, we will stop at some brief final considerations, Manuel Belgrano (1770-1820) fue uno de los más notables hombres públicos del Río de La Plata tanto en las últimas décadas de la Etapa Colonial como en los primeros años del proceso independentista. En este texto se presenta un análisis de la situación del gremio de plateros de Córdoba durante el siglo XVII. Partiendo de la premisa de la falta de estudios específicos de este periodo, se comenzará por realizar una síntesis bibliográfica. Se continuará con una presentación de la situación general de la institución en ese momento y cuáles fueron los principales plateros. Escogiendo las obras más señeras, se conocerán las características de dichas piezas. De esta manera se podrán abordar una serie de conclusiones que esclarezcan los vacíos existentes en este campo temporal de la investigación argéntea en Córdoba., This text presents an analysis of the situation of the silversmiths´ guild of Cordoba during the 17th century. Starting from the premise of the lack of specific studies of this period, we will begin by carrying out a bibliographical synthesis. It will continue with a presentation of the general situation of the institution at that time and who were the main silversmiths. Choosing the most outstanding Works, the characteristics of these pieces will be known. In this way, a series of conclusions can be addressed that clarify the existing gaps in this temporary field of silver research in Cordoba.

The purpose of the thesis is to analyse the tensions between the government and conservation NGOs regarding the mitigation of the elephant crisis in Zimbabwe. The thesis aims to examine their contrasting representations of the problem and the discourses/knowledges that inspire their arguments. This is done in order to canvass what subjects, effects, and socio-economic implication the representations of the problem produce. Analysis of empirical material will be done using Carol Bacchi’s “What’s the problem Represented to be?” approach. The method has the foundation on the notion that problems are not self-evident, but that policies create specific representations of the problem. The analysis demonstrates that the tensions over the management and mitigation of the elephant crisis in Zimbabwe are not over a self-evident elephant problem. It rather demonstrates that the tensions emanate from contrasting representations of the problem by the government and conservation NGOs. Such contrasts result from contrasting discourses and knowledges that these antagonists base their arguments on. This, in turn leads to tensions regarding the proposed solutions to the crisis.

The ability to accurately measure organic carbon (OC) in marine sediments or soils is overall taken for granted in scientific communities, yet this seemingly mundane task remains a methodological challenge when the soil matrix contains calcium carbonate (CaCO3), creating inaccuracies in Blue Carbon estimates. Here, we compared five common methods combining acidification, combustion, and wet oxidation pre-treatments for determination of OC in sediments and soils containing CaCO3 based on the analyses of artificial soil mixtures made of different OC and CaCO3 contents, and multiple soils from Australian seagrass cores. The results obtained showed that methods involving acidification pre-treatment entailed −17 ± 0.2% (mean ± SE) underestimation of OC content (ranging from −8% to −26%), whereas the combustion-based method was accurate for samples with high CaCO3 content but entailed 32–47% overestimation in samples with low CaCO3 content. The Heanes method (wet oxidation method) showed < 5% deviation from the known OC content, but this method is not suitable for soil samples containing reduced iron, sulfur and potentially manganese compounds. The differences observed among methods have significant impacts on local, regional, and global Blue Carbon storage calculations. We provide key methodological guidelines for the analysis of OC in soils with high and low CaCO3 contents, aiming at improving accuracy in current Blue Carbon science.

Inom idrott idag är knäskador en av de vanligaste skador som uppstår i sporter som innebandy eller fotboll exempelvis. Dessa knäskador innefattar skador som korsbandsskador, meniskskador och ledbandsskador för att nämna några. Detta har medfört att förbund inom dessa sporter har tagit fram knäkontrollprogram med syfte att förebygga skador men trots detta skadar sig idrottare fortfarande. Vid skada används en linda av dynamiskt material vars syfte är att stoppa blödningen och svullnaden som skadan skapar, problemet med detta är att få personer är kunniga nog för att på ett korrekt sätt applicera lindan. Lösningen till detta är att skapa ett uppblåsbart knäskydd som går att pumpa upp till ett tryck där blodflödet stoppas och förhindrar svullnad i knät utan att någon förkunskap krävs för att använda den. Arbetets mål är att konstruera och utveckla ett knäskydd vars uppgift är att stoppa blodflödet samt kunna användas på barn såväl som på en vuxen. PDCA-modellen, Trial and Error och Projectbase modellen är de produktutvecklingsmetoder som främst har använts i detta arbete. Knäskyddet konstruktion är en kombination av en uppblåsbar dyna och en basplatta vars uppgift är att hålla knäskyddet på plats runt knät och hålla den uppblåsbara dynan på plats. Denna dyna pumpas med en handpump upp till rätt lufttryck då blodflödet i knät stoppas och har då uppfyllt sitt syfte. Knäskyddet är ett substitut till den klassiska lindan som finns i de flesta skadeväskor som finns i idrottshallar och idrottsplatser. Den är även återanvändningsbar och tål att göras ren mellan användningarna. En prototyp har även tagits fram under arbetet och kommer presenteras i arbetet, denna prototyp är även beprövad av en legitimerad fysioterapeut och har bedömts att uppfylla de mål som arbetet haft., Knee injuries is one of the most common injuries in sports today, especially in sports like football or floorball. These knee injuries include injuries such as ACL injuries, meniscus injuries and ligament injuries to name a few. Because of this, federations within these sports have developed knee control programs with the purpose of preventing injuries but despite this, athletes still injure themselves. When an injury occurs, a bandage wrap made from a dynamic material is used. The purpose of the bandage wrap is to stop the bleeding and swelling that the injury creates, but the problem with this is that few people are knowledgeable enough to properly apply the bandage wrap. The goal of this project is to develop and construct a knee brace with the purpose of stopping the blood flow in the knee and to be used by a child as well as an adult. In this project there have been especially three types of working methods that has been used, and they are PDCA, Trial and Error and Projectbase. The construction of the knee brace is a combination of two modules, an inflatable pad, and a base plate which purpose is to keep the knee and the inflatable pad in the correct place. The purpose of the inflatable pad is to stop the blood flow in the knee, and that is accomplished through the use of the hand pump that in attached to the inflatable pad, which enable the inflatable pad to reach the correct air pressure. The inflatable knee brace is to be seen as a substitute for the classic bandage wrap that can be found in most places where sports is practiced. The knee brace is also re-usable and can be washed between the uses. A prototype has also been developed during this project and will be presented in this report. The prototype has also been tested by a licensed physiotherapist and has been judged to fulfil the goals of the project.

Mathematical statistical models are insufficient for describing complex phenomena. In contrast, Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), have been used across various complex problem domains for solving problems. ANNs can learn complex patterns and capture non-linear relationships between parameters. Using ANNs to gain an understanding of complex problem domains can reveal hidden truths and lead to scientific discoveries not possible before with mathematical statistical models. In this thesis, a fully connected feed-forward neural network was built to analyse the parameter influence in the complex problem domain of football. The aim of this work was to demonstrate that a simple artificial neural network could be used to analyse parameter influence in complex problem domains. The investigation centred around the question of: How well can the fully connected feed-forward neural network be used for analysing parameter influence. To conduct this research, free publicly available statistical match data was gathered from online sources. Subsequently, an ANN model was built and trained to predict the outcomes of the Spanish La Liga matches during the 2021/2022 season. The network could achieve an average accuracy of 51.57\%, comparable to similar models in related studies. After the network was trained the weights were analysed to understand the influence of parameters on the outcomes of matches. The results obtained were random, indicating that this specific approach taken, requires a larger dataset. A different approach with a different type of network would be more suitable for this undertaking.

In this article we analyze the hyper-leadership of the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, on Instagram. Our aim is to demonstrate the presence of discursive shifts in political discourse because of personalization, the sensationalist approach of the media and the de-ideologization of audiences. From a corpus of 196 publications and applying the semiotic methodology (Semprini, 1995), socio-semiotics (Kress y Van Leuwen, 2006) and textual analysis of discourse (Gallardo, 2018) we show that the politician uses himself to build a brand image or self-branding to offer to his voters-spectators., En el presente artículo analizamos el hiperliderazgo del reelegido presidente de la República Francesa, Emmanuel Macron, en su red social preeminente Instagram. Nuestro objetivo es demostrar la presencia de desplazamientos discursivos en el discurso político como consecuencia de la personalización, el enfoque sensacionalista de los medios y la desideologización de las audiencias. A partir de un corpus de 196 publicaciones y aplicando la metodología semiótica (Semprini, 1995), sociosemiótica (Kress y van Leeuwen, 2006) y el análisis textual del discurso (Gallardo, 2018) demostramos que el político se utiliza a sí mismo para construirse una determinada imagen de marca (self-branding) ante sus votantes-espectadores.

Style transfer is a natural language processing generation task, it consists of substituting one given writing style for another one. In this work, we seek to perform informal-to-formal style transfers in the English language by using a style transfer model that takes advantage of the GPT-2. This process is shown in our web interface where the user input a informal message by text or voice. Our target audience are students and professionals in the need to improve the quality of their work by formalizing their texts. A style transfer is considered successful when the original semantic meaning of the message is preserved after the independent style has been replaced with a formal one with a high degree of grammatical correctness. This task is hindered by the scarcity of training and evaluation datasets alongside the lack of metrics. To accomplish this task, we opted to utilize OpenAI’s GPT-2 Transformer-based pre-trained model. To adapt the GPT-2 to our research, we fine-tuned the model with a parallel corpus containing informal text entries paired with the equivalent formal ones. We evaluate the fine-tuned model results with two specific metrics, formality and meaning preservation. To further fine-tune the model, we integrate a human-based feedback system where the user selects the best formal sentence out of the ones generated by the model. A partir de la información disponible en SABI desde 2010 a 2021 para la muestra seleccionada, se lleva a cabo un estudio económico que pivota sobre dos variables: la facturación y la rentabilidad. El análisis realizado permite presentar un adecuado diagnóstico sobre las diferencias entre empresas en base a su dimensión, distribución geográfica y tipo de turismo al que se enfocan., [Abstract]: Throughout this report, Power BI has been used to develop an analysis of the financial information of one the key sectors of the Spanish economy: tourism. To be more precise, the analysis has focused on the top 500 hotels, according to their revenue figures in 2019, a year in which Spain registered record numbers regarding the arrival of tourists. Starting from the information available in SABI from 2010 to 2021 for our selected sample, an economic study has been developed centered on two variables: revenues and profitability. The conducted analysis allows the presentation of an adequate diagnostic concerning the differences between the companies based on their dimension, geographic distribution and tourism type.

Molekularne tehnike omogućuju unos gena za poželjne osobine u genom i unapređuju klasičnu selekciju u mutacionim populacijama kroz analizu ciljanih mesta na genomu. Ove prednosti molekularnih tehnika reafirmišu mutaciono oplemenjivanje povrća i drugih grupa biljaka., In this review paper, the classical methods of mutagenesis and the mechanism of mutations are first described, and then the molecular techniques in mutation breeding are listed: 1. insertional mutagenesis, 2. transformations, 3. editing and 4. TILLING. The greatest attention is paid to the TILLING technique through the presentation of each of its stages. Molecular techniques enable the introduction of genes for desirable traits into the genome and improve classical selection in mutational populations through the analysis of targeted sites on the genome. These advantages of molecular techniques reaffirm the mutational breeding of vegetables and other plant groups.

This research presents a comprehensive case study that scrutinizes adopting and implementing international educational standards within primary schools in the Dir Lower district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The study seeks to unravel the intricate dynamics that influence how global educational standards are integrated into the local educational landscape. Methodological concerns: this study utilized quantitative research methodology to incorporate the opinion of primary school teacher regarding international educational standards and their availability in the study locale. In addition, the study utilized the values of a simple random sampling technique and size 326 potential respondents through the Sekaran sample table out of 3243. Furthermore, the study collected primary data through a close-ended questionnaire and then analyzed with uni-variate, e.g., frequency and percentage, and bi-variate T-Test in order to measure the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The findings of this study reveal several significant outcomes. First, it is evident that there has been a notable effort to align the curriculum and teaching methodologies with international educational standards. However, the level of implementation varies across schools and regions within Dir Lower, suggesting disparities in the quality of education provided. Second, challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, lack of teacher training, and socio-economic disparities have emerged as barriers to the effective implementation of these standards. In light of these findings, this research offers several recommendations. A text has various qualities which nearly all need to be analysed to come closer to a complete meaning. It needs expertise and attention while reading any text. On the other hand, the process of reading itself has various aspects to look at. For example, a reader always has more than one perspective available to analyse and interpret a text. And it is necessary that a text is read and analysed using these different perspectives, so that the meaning one gets after such a reading is not narrow or obscure. Specially the reading of a literary text needs some extra attention. Here, the language is mostly minutely used, and there are qualities which are different and mostly superior to other common texts. At the same time, sometimes, the kind of meaning which is produced also depends on the reader. A common reader without expertise may come up with some simple meaning. But, at the same time, a scholarly reader may come up with some complex meaning of the same text. Thus, there is always a possibility that the same text may have different meanings by different authors. La publicidad ha sido escuela de grandes cineastas, por eso no sorprende que entre los documentos que ellos donan a las filmotecas figuren algunos de contenido publicitario. Sin embargo, estos no siempre están correctamente identificados y, por ende, su disponibilidad y uso es bastante limitado. En este artículo se describe la cantidad y variedad de esta clase de documentos que se conservan en las filmotecas nacionales; se destaca su importancia como fuentes de información primaria para entender la historia de la publicidad en particular y la del cine en general; y se explican algunas de las dificultades y retos que presenta su análisis documental. Desafíos que estriban no sólo en la cantidad de trabajo por hacer, sino en: 1) la falta de una metodología pertinente que destaque las características propias de los documentos publicitarios y se adecue, al mismo tiempo, a las necesidades de las diferentes filmotecas que los conservan y 2) la carencia de recursos y personal cualificado. For this reason, it is not surprising that advertising materials are often included when filmmakers donate their work to a film archive. However, these materials are not always properly catalogued and their dissemination and use is quite limited. This paper describes the quantity and variety of advertising documents preserved in the Spanish film archives, emphasizes their importance as primary information sources for understanding the history of advertising in particular and of cinematography in general, and explains some of the difficulties and challenges of analysing them as documents. This paper proposes a classification approach for flight delays using Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) models. Flight delays are a major issue in the airline industry, causing inconvenience to passengers and financial losses to airlines. The BiLSTM and LSTM models, powerful deep learning techniques, have shown promising results in a classification task. In this study, we collected a dataset from the United States (US) Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) of flight on-time performance information and used it to train and test the BiLSTM and LSTM models. We set three criteria for selecting highly important features to train and test the models. The performance evaluation of the models and Confusion matrix shows that BiLSTM outperforms the LSTM model. In evaluating the models using the Mathews Correlation Coefficient (MCC), the BiLSTM model offers a better correlation of 0.99 between the original and predicted classes. Our experiment shows that for predicting flight delays, the BiLSTM model takes advantage of the forward and backward hidden sequences and the deep neural network for performance exploration and exploitation to achieve high accuracy, recall, and F1-Score. Our findings suggest that the BiLSTM model can effectively predict flight delays and provide valuable information for airlines, passengers, and airport managers.

Since there is an uncertainty in the arrival times of flights, pre-scheduled allocation of runways and stands and the subsequent first-come-first-served treatment results in a sub-optimal allocation of runways and stands, this is the prime reason for the unusual delays in taxi-in times at IGIA, New Delhi. We simulated the arrival pattern of aircraft and utilized stochastic optimization to arrive at the best runway-stands allocation for a day. Optimization is done using a GRG Non-Linear algorithm in the Frontline Systems Analytic Solver platform. We applied this model to eight representative scenarios of two different days. Our results show that without altering any physical infrastructure and using this stochastic simulation model, there is a potential 38.97% improvement in the average taxiing time of the arriving aircraft, assuming a constraint of simultaneous arrivals of two aircraft within a minute. A simulated run optimization technique, if applied at the IGIA, would produce huge savings in passengers’ time, additional fuel costs, and, after all, environmental degradation.

Covid-19 telah memicu kondisi yang perlu dilakukan pembatasan yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya. Kebijakan pembatasan ini berpotensi menimbulkan tantangan dalam distribusi barang yang dapat mengakibatkan perusahaan mengalami kesulitan dalam memenuhi permintaan atau tingkat ketersediaan barang yang rendah akibat sulitnya mendistribusikan barang. Apabila tidak segera ditangani dan berlangsung dalam jangka waktu yang lama, situasi tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan ketidakpastian yang dapat berdampak negatif, seperti kehilangan konsumen atau bahkan kerugian keuangan yang dialami oleh perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan strategi distribusi yang lebih adaptif selama periode pandemi COVID-19 ini. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan pengelolaan risiko menggunakan metode House of Risk (HOR). Metode ini dipilih karena dianggap mampu melakukan analisis rinci terhadap risiko dan dampaknya di masa depan. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini dilanjutkan dengan melakukan perencanaan distribusi menggunakan metode Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP). Berdasarkan hasil pemrosesan data menggunakan dua metode yang disebutkan di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kebijakan membatasi transportasi selama pandemi adalah peristiwa risiko yang paling berpengaruh. Selain itu, dengan menerapkan metode Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP), perusahaan dapat mengurangi pengeluaran sebesar 13% atau Rp21.067.187,00 untuk West DC dan 2,4% atau Rp36.524.243,70 untuk East DC sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi dari perusahaan.

This study aimed to investigate how two Spanish newspapers, El País, and El Español, portrayed human trafficking for sexual purposes, prostitution, and the central actors. To gain insight and a better understanding of this, eleven news articles from each daily press that were published between the years 2021 and 2023, have been analyzed. The focus has been on both the manifest and latent messages that journalists emphasized. The method used for this study is a qualitative content analysis where coding was used to establish recurring themes within the chosen articles. To examine the data material the theories used were Edelman’s theory on constructions in media, Doing Gender, Discipline Process, and ‘Us and the Others’. The results of the study concluded that there were two main perspectives on how the Spanish daily press viewed human trafficking and prostitution. The first perspective viewed it as today’s slavery whereas the second viewed it as an occupation. These two differences affected how central actors, solutions, and causes were constructed. Furthermore, this contributed to a varied narrative, yet a polarization, where the central actors were referred to in a similar manner. This led to normative beliefs and thoughts being reinforced when not questioned in the news reporting.

Purpose: Analyzing stock price is very necessary to identify the overall price of the stock index, which the market players have various options and references to invest their money in the profitable securities portfolio. Based on the reason, the aim of this study is to examine the Islamic stock price movement in several Muslim countries joined in the Islamic Conference Organization (IOC). Theoretical Framework: This study refers to the theoretical framework that the integrated capital market can help everyone in analyzing the quality and quantity of the Islamic stock price movement, including its challenges and opportunity in the context of investment risk management. Design/Methodology/Approach: This research uses a descriptive-analytical method and comparative approach to examine the tends of Islamic stock price movement in six Muslim countries from the period January 2010 to December 2019, namely JII-Indonesia, DJIMY-Malaysia, DJTR-Turkey, DJIMKW-Kuwait, TDWL-Saudi Arabia, and QEAR-Qatar, which are analyzed quantitatively, statistically, and deductively. Findings: The results of the research show that the co-integrated of Islamic Stock Index are JII-Indonesia with DJIMY-Malaysia, JII-Indonesia and DJIMKW-Kuwait, DJIMY-Malaysia with DJIMKW-Kuwait, DJTR-Turkey with DJIMKW-Kuwait, QEAR-Qatar with DJIMKW-Kuwait. The Islamic stock index pairs confirmed through the VAR and VECM tests are only DJIMY-Malaysia with QEAR-Qatar, DJIMY-Malaysia with DJIMKW-Kuwait, and TDWL-Saudi Arabia with QEAR-Qatar. Research, Practical & Social Implications: This study becomes one example of the practical analysis of Islamic Stock Market movements that can be used to the stock market players in taking the consideration and decision for the investment in capital market. Purpose: The main purpose of the study is the comparative analysis of total capital, total assets, net profit, return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE) and net interest margin (NIM) of 17 commercial banks operating in Armenia for several years are presented, the advantages and disadvantages of the banks with high and low results in the above-noted indicators have been briefly commented on. Theoretical framework: Currently, the banking system of Armenia is the most developed one in comparison with other sectors of the economy, as the processes of attracting deposits, providing loans and fulfilling the standards set for commercial banks are regulated in line with the world experience. The object of study is operational environment of the banks. Design/methodology/approach: The profitability indicators are considered to be the most basic tool for assessing the efficiency of operations carried out by commercial banks. Methodological tools of the study methods were interest income, interest expense and average annual return on profitable assets, which were analyzed separately. Findings: The relevance of this scientific problem decision is that the negative consequences the COVID-19 pandemic within the business environment of the Armenian banking system have been studied. Research, Practical & Social implications: In the context of new economic relations, the banking system holds an important part in ensuring the economic growth and economic development of any country, including the Republic of Armenia. The article exposes the results of a research project and Solidarity Extension, whose objective was to design methodologies derived from the theory of spatial syntax to mitigate the effects of contagion by COVID-19 in middle, secondary, and basic education populations of Uraba Antioquia. Considering that the concept of spatial syntax was conceived as a tool for architects to simulate the possible sociocultural effects of their designs and make decisions based on behavioral predictions of the population, this research addressed the problem of returning to on-site classes in the framework of the closures of educational institutions during the health emergency. The methodology used arose from the standard guidelines of applied research in a controlled environment, contemplating architectural surveys, diagnosis, and analysis from spatial syntax graphs. The findings of the research shed light around architectural plans of educational institutions, the analysis of different types of maps of convex graphs, connectivity, axiality, integration, choice and graphics of isovists of control and visibility, the creation of a model of intersectoral work between academia and actors in the territory and the design of illustrations for the transfer of knowledge to the communities., O artigo expõe os resultados de um projeto de pesquisa e Extensão Solidária, cujo objetivo foi projetar metodologias derivadas da teoria da sintaxe espacial para mitigar os efeitos do contágio por COVID-19 em populações de ensino médio, médio e básico de Urabá Antioquia. La metodología empleada surgió desde los lineamientos estándar de la investigación aplicada en un ambiente controlado, contemplando levantamientos arquitectónicos, elaboración de diagnósticos y análisis a partir de los gráficos de sintaxis espacial. This article deals with the resolution of two unpublished problems on the content "Analysis of the definite integral for the calculation of the magnitudes force and pressure of a fluid at rest"; this study is very important, since it is interdisciplinary, that is, it takes essential elements from Calculus II, Algebra III, Structure of Matter and Educational Evaluation, besides providing useful information for future researchers or people who wish to train their knowledge. The main objective of this work was to analyze in a theoretical and practical way what is a definite integral, what are vector and scalar magnitudes, and fluid at rest, through a descriptive analysis and a qualitative approach, providing a better acquisition of the exact sciences (Physics and Mathematics), since relevant aspects were taken from different reliable sources of information. Through this study, it was possible to obtain quality results that help to promote and increase the knowledge of both students and teachers who have participated in the research, which contributes to the development of learning demanded by the XXI century, since it takes the aspects of innovation in the combination of subjects, and also allows strengthening the critical thinking of the new intellectuals., El presente artículo, trata de la resolución de dos problemas inéditos sobre el contenido “Análisis de la integral definida para el cálculo de las magnitudes fuerza y presión de un fluido en reposo”; este estudio es muy importante ya que es interdisciplinario, es decir, toma elementos esenciales de Cálculo II, Álgebra III, Estructura de la Materia y Evaluación Educativa, además, proporciona información útil para próximos investigadores o personas que deseen capacitar sus conocimientos. El objetivo fundamental de este trabajo fue analizar de manera teórica y práctica qué es una integral definida, qué son magnitudes tanto vectoriales como escalares, y fluido en reposo, a través de un análisis descriptivo y un enfoque cualitativo proporcionando una mejor adquisición de las ciencias exactas (Física y Matemática), puesto que se tomaron aspectos relevantes de diferentes fuentes de información confiables.
