Purpose: Lateral interbody fusion (LIF) is an increasingly popular minimally-invasive spine procedure. This study identifies notable trends in LIF literature and provides a detailed review of the bibliometric aspects of the top 100 most-cited articles. Methods: Articles were queried from the Web of Science database. Inclusion criteria consisted of peer-reviewed articles, full-text availability, and LIF focus. Network analysis including co-authorship mapping and bibliographic coupling were complemented by trend analysis to determine prominent contributors and themes. Analyses were conducted using VOSviewer and Bibliometrix (RStudio). Results: There has been a rapid increase in LIF publication and citation count since 1998. Leading journals were Spine (n = 24), Journal of Neurosurgery Spine (n = 22), and European Spine Journal (n = 12). NuVasive funded the most publications (n = 17), followed by DePuy Synthes Spine (n = 4). The United States was the most represented country (n = 81); however, trend analysis suggests a steadily growing international contribution. The most prolific author was J.S. Uribe (n = 16), followed by a tie in second place by E. Dakwar and L. Pimenta (n = 8). The most frequent keywords, "complication" (n = 34), "surgery" (n = 30), and "outcomes" (n = 24), demonstrated a patient-centric theme. Conclusions: This bibliometric analysis provides in-depth insights into the evolution and trends of LIF over the last two decades. The trends and themes identified demonstrate the innovative, collaborative, and patient-focused characteristics of this subfield. Energy security is related to national economic development and social stability, and it is one of the significant and urgent problems faced by all countries in the world. This paper takes 36583 articles on energy security from 2013 to 2023 in the Web of Science database as the data set, using the CiteSpace Knowledge graph method to systematically analyze the status quo, research hotspots, and evolution trends of world energy security research. The results show that research hotspots are concentrated in six primary areas: energy governance, energy and climate change, renewable energy security, energy models, energy efficiency, and energy technology. The cross-research between artificial intelligence, communication technologies, and the field of energy security is one of the future research hotspots. Based on the Essential Science Indicators database, this study analyzed 2,536 top papers in the subject category of Environmental Studies about eleven years from 2011 to 2021, which included 2,524 highly cited papers and 66 hot papers and belonged to 45 Web of Science categories and 35 research areas. All the top papers written in English, were from 10,495 authors, 3,129 organizations and 119 countries or regions, and published in 112 journals and two book series. The top five Journals are Energy Policy, Nature Climate Change, Tourism Management, Global Environmental Change-Human and Policy Dimensions and Landscape and Urban Planning. Top five countries were USA, Peoples R China, England, Germany and Australia with more than 307 papers. The top five organizations were University of California System, Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of London, Commonwealth Scientific Industrial Research Organisation CSIRO, Wageningen University Research. The top five authors were Shahbaz, Muhammad; Sovacool, Benjamin K.; Van Vuuren, Detlef P.; Liu, Yansui; Verburg, Peter H. All keywords were separated into eight clusters for different research topic. Stroke represents the second highest disease burden worldwide. It is well documented that rapid stroke identification and treatment are associated with improved outcomes. In particular, prehospital stroke detection (PSD) devices have emerged as possible tools to facilitate more rapid and accurate stroke triage. Bibliometric analyses offer a powerful tool to characterize the entire field from an interdisciplinary perspective. This bibliometric analysis aims to analyze current themes and identify future trends within the PSD space. The Web of Science collection database was surveyed for PSD literature. Search terms focused on stroke diagnostic techniques, clinical indicators for ischemia/hemorrhage, and prehospital timing. Subsequently, VOSviewer was used for visual mapping analyses. A total of 237 documents were identified between 1995 and 2021 from 1190 different authors. Publication volume has increased greatly in recent years. Publications were spread across 156 journals with the largest journal, Stroke , contributing just 7 studies over 26 years. Keywords analysis showed that stroke, near-infrared spectroscopy, and electroencephalography were the most common keywords. Novel PSD devices are promising tools for the early detection and characterization of stroke. This study identifies recent increased attention to PSD technology, a trend that will likely continue in the coming years. Devices using near-infrared spectroscopy, ultrasonography, microwave, and electroencephalography represent the central areas of future PSD research. The multidisciplinary, and therefore fractured, nature of the PSD space requires those interested in the field to maintain active search habits across multiple journals to remain up to date on PSD innovations. In recent years, mechanical characteristics including vibration, bending, buckling and postbuckling, stability and instability, etc. of small-scaled structures (such as micro/nanowires, micro and nano plates, micro and nano tubes, micro and nano beams, carbon micro/nano-tubes, micro and nano shells, micro and nano probes, etc.) have been broadly investigated, because of recent advances in nanotechnologies and due to their astonishing characteristics. Also, these small-scaled structures are extensively applied in several areas. However, comprehending the mechanical characteristics of these small-scaled structures is of great prominence and yet a daunting task. To understand the mechanical behaviors and capture the effects (including small-scale effect) of these different advanced small-scaled structures (at micro and nano levels), it is very essential to implement them into classical/nonclassical continuum elasticity based on a suitable classical/nonclassical elasticity formulation or theory. Thus, this work searches the literature and hereby presents an ample literature review study with a special focus primarily on the novel progress of vibration analyses of microplates and nanoplates using nonlocal/nonclassical continuum theories of elasticity. Scopus and web of science databases were used as the primary scholarly-databases to acquire the documents reviewed in the current research. Furthermore, several perspectives of classifications are considered while reviewing and grouping these acquired documents. The main purpose was to illustrate existing research trends in the vibrational analysis of small-scaled plate-based structures utilizing nonlocal plate-based theories and nonclassical continuum elasticity theories, and to provide a foundation and guidance for future research on the mechanics of small-scaled plate-based structures. • Small-sized structures are applied in several application because of their extremely properties. • Vibrational analyses of micro/nanoplates using nonclassical continuum theories are reviewed. • Presented the current research trends considering several perspectives of classifications. • Further efforts could be devoted to the implementations of machine/deep learning techniques.
