The high-strength joining of reaction-bonded silicon carbide (RBSC) is pivotal for its application in the semiconductor field. In this paper, the wetting and joining mechanism of Ti–Si eutectic alloy on RBSC were investigated. The contact angles observed between Ti–Si eutectic alloy and RBSC were approximately 1.9°, indicating the favorable wettability and demonstrating the feasibility of bonding RBSC joints. The temperature bending strength of the joints initially increased and then decreased as the brazing temperature increased. Moreover, the shear strength of approximately 107.38 ± 5.56 MPa was achieved at 1350 °C for 30 min. Notably, the diffusion and amalgamation of atoms, lead to the establishment of stronger bonds between adjacent particles. Thus, the Ti–Si eutectic alloy brazing filler formed a direct connection with the RBSC matrix, with Si 2 Ti infiltrating into the base metal on both sides. An array of cyanopyridazine derivatives have been developed through a sequence of (3+3) cycloaddition/oxidative aromatization/derivatization steps. Investigation of the physicochemical properties of these compounds shows that four have interesting fluorescence properties and have the potential to be developed into bimodal photoredox catalysts. One has been confirmed to be an photoredox catalyst in the reactions of N‐aryl‐ tetrahydroisoquinolines with phosphite, nitromethane, malonitrile and sodium thiocyanate, led to 22%–95% yields. Practical Application The present study investigated the effects of different deep‐frying times and temperatures on the amylose content, crystal structure, thermodynamics, and other properties of deep‐fried dough sticks. Results showed that the change of amylose content in deep‐fried dough sticks during the deep‐frying process was positively correlated with time and temperature. Moreover, the deep‐frying process of deep‐fried dough sticks was accompanied by the formation of starch–lipid complexes that led to the destruction of starch structure. The degreased sample and the oil sample had the same absorption peaks at 2854 and 1746 cm−1, respectively. The melting enthalpy (ΔH) of the starch–lipid complex decreased significantly. In addition, the viscosity of starch reduced as the deep‐frying time and temperature increased. Furthermore, it was found that the effect of increasing deep‐frying temperature was greater than that of time.As a popular deep‐fried food, the main component of deep‐fried dough sticks is starch. Starch gelatinization, protein denaturation, and interaction among components occurred during deep‐frying. At present, there are few studies focusing on the properties of starch in deep‐fried dough sticks in the real deep‐frying system. Nickel oxide (NiOx)‐based inverted perovskite solar cells stand as promising candidates for advancing perovskite photovoltaics towards commercialization, leveraging their remarkable stability, scalability, and cost‐effectiveness. However, the interfacial redox reaction between high‐valence Ni4+ and perovskite, alongside the facile conversion of iodide in perovskite into I2, significantly deteriorates the performance and reproducibility of NiOx‐based perovskite photovoltaics. Here, potassium borohydride (KBH4) is introduced as a dual‐action reductant, which effectively avoids the Ni4+/perovskite interface reaction and mitigates the iodide‐to‐I2 oxidation within perovskite film. This synergistic redox modulation significantly suppresses nonradiative recombination and increases the carrier lifetime. As a result, an impressive power conversion efficiency of 24.17% for NiOx‐based perovskite solar cells is achieved, and a record efficiency of 20.2% for NiOx‐based perovskite solar modules fabricated under ambient conditions. Notably, when evaluated using the ISOS‐L‐2 standard protocol, the module retains 94% of its initial efficiency after 2000 h of continuous illumination under maximum power point at 65 °C in ambient air. Time-varying confounding is a common challenge for causal inference in observational studies with time-varying treatments, long follow-up periods, and participant dropout. Confounder adjustment using traditional approaches can be limited by data sparsity, weight instability, and computational issues. The Nicotine Dependence in Teens Study is a prospective cohort study, and we used data from 21 data collection cycles carried out from 1999 to 2008 among 1294 students recruited from 10 high schools in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, including follow-up into adulthood. Our aim in this study was to estimate associations of timing of alcohol initiation and cumulative duration of alcohol use with depression symptoms in adulthood. Based on the target trials framework, we defined intention-to-treat and as-treated parameters in a marginal structural model with sex as a potential effect-modifier. We then used the observational data to emulate the trials. For estimation, we used pooled longitudinal target maximum likelihood estimation, a plug-in estimator with double-robust and local efficiency properties. We describe strategies for dealing with high-dimensional potential drinking patterns and practical positivity violations due to a long follow-up time, including modifying the effect of interest by removing sparsely observed drinking patterns from the loss function and applying longitudinal modified treatment policies to represent the effect of discouraging drinking. This study investigated whether the audio-visual spatial design could improve and how it improved the user experience of bare-hand interaction (BHI) in virtual reality (VR), by adjusting spatial audio accordingly (no sound, audiovisual spatial congruency, audio-visual spatial in congruency). We asked 32 participants to complete the grasping task in two interaction scenarios with three audio-visual spatial conditions. We evaluated the user experience in terms of both intrinsic cognitive load and usability through four metrics: subjective cognitive load scores, HbO2 data in the corresponding brain regions, task time, and user satisfaction. The results showed that in near range interaction, although there was no significant difference between audio-visual spatial in congruency and congruency in terms of cognitive load and usability, they both significantly improved the user experience compared to the no sound group. Background: Left ventricular global longitudinal strain (GLS) holds greater diagnostic and prognostic value than left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) in the heart failure (HF) patients. The triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index serves as a reliable surrogate for insulin resistance (IR) and is strongly associated with several adverse cardiovascular events. However, there remains a research gap concerning the correlation between the TyG index and GLS among patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). Method: 427 CHF patients were included in the final analysis. Patient demographic information, along with laboratory tests such as blood glucose, lipids profiles, and echocardiographic data were collected. The TyG index was calculated as Ln [fasting triglyceride (TG) (mg/dL) × fasting plasma glucose (FPG) (mg/dL)/2]. Results: Among CHF patients, GLS was notably lower in the higher TyG index group compared to the lower TyG index group. Following adjustment for confounding factors, GLS demonstrated gradual decrease with increasing TyG index, regardless of the LVEF level and CHF classification. With the advancement of computer-based testing, log file data has drawn considerable attention from researchers. Although emerging studies have begun to explore log file data, there is a gap in the exploitation of log file data for capturing and understanding participants' cognitive processes. The debate on how to maximize insights from log file data has not yet reached a consensus. Therefore, we present this protocol for a scoping review that aims to characterize the application of log file data in current publications, including the data pre-processing techniques, analytical methodologies, and theoretical frameworks used by researchers. This review will also aim to illuminate how log file data can enhance psychological and educational assessments. Our findings will highlight the opportunities and challenges presented by log file data as an emerging and essential source of evidence for future advancements in psychological and educational assessment. The relationship between aging and RNA biogenesis and trafficking is attracting growing interest, yet the precise mechanisms are unknown. The THO complex is crucial for mRNA cotranscriptional maturation and export. Herein, we report that the THO complex is closely linked to the regulation of lifespan. Deficiencies in Hpr1 and Tho2, components of the THO complex, reduced replicative lifespan (RLS) and are linked to a novel Sir2‐independent RLS control pathway. Although transcript sequestration in hpr1Δ or tho2Δ mutants was countered by exosome component Rrp6, loss of this failed to mitigate RLS defects in hpr1Δ. However, RLS impairment in hpr1Δ or tho2Δ was counteracted by the additional expression of Nrd1‐specific mutants that interacted with Rrp6. This effect relied on the interaction of Nrd1, a transcriptional regulator of aging‐related genes, including ribosome biogenesis or RNA metabolism genes, with RNA polymerase II. Nrd1 overexpression reduced RLS in a Tho2‐dependent pathway. Intriguingly, Tho2 deletion mirrored Nrd1 overexpression effects by inducing arbitrary Nrd1 chromatin binding. Furthermore, our genome‐wide ChIP‐seq analysis revealed an increase in the recruitment of Nrd1 to translation‐associated genes, known to be related to aging, upon Tho2 loss. Taken together, these findings underscore the importance of Tho2‐mediated Nrd1 escorting in the regulation of lifespan pathway through transcriptional regulation of aging‐related genes. Purpose: The resurgence of pertussis has occurred around the world. However, the epidemiological profiles of pertussis cannot be well understood by current diseases surveillance. This study was designed to understand the seroepidemiological characteristics of pertussis infection in the general population of Huzhou City, evaluate the prevalence infection of pertussis in the population, and offer insights to inform adjustments in pertussis prevention and control strategies. Methods: From September to October 2023, a cross-sectional serosurvey was conducted in Huzhou City, involving 1015 permanent residents. Serum samples were collected from the study subjects, and pertussis toxin IgG antibodies (Anti-PT-IgG) were quantitatively measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The analysis included the geometric mean concentration (GMC) of Anti-PT-IgG, rates of GMC≥40IU/mL, ≥100IU/mL, and <5IU/mL. Stratified comparisons were made based on age, vaccination history, and human categories. Results: Among the 1015 surveyed individuals, the geometric mean concentration (GMC) of Anti-PT-IgG was 10.52 (95% CI: 9.96–11.11) IU/mL, with a recent infection rate of 1.58%, a serum positivity rate of 11.43%, and a proportion with <5IU/mL of 40.49%. Among 357 children with clear vaccination history, susceptibility decreased with an increasing number of vaccine doses (Z = -6.793, P < 0.001). The concentration of Anti-PT-IgG exhibited a significant post-vaccination decline over time (Z = -5.143, P < 0.001). In women of childbearing age, the GMC of Anti-PT-IgG was 7.71 (95% CI: 6.90–8.62) IU/mL, with no significant difference in susceptibility among different age groups (χ2 = 0.545, P = 0.909). The annual pertussis infection rate in individuals aged ≥3 years was 9321 (95%CI: 3336–16039) per 100,000, with peak infection rates in the 20–29, 40–49, and 5–9 age groups at 34363 (95%CI: 6327–66918) per 100,000, 22307.72 (95%CI: 1380–47442) per 100,000, and 18020(95%CI: 1093–37266) per 100,000, respectively. Conclusions: In 2023, the actual pertussis infection rate in the population of Huzhou City was relatively high. Vaccine-induced antibodies exhibit a rapid decay, and the estimated serum infection rate increases rapidly from post-school age, peaking in the 20–29 age group. Background: Freezing stress is one of the major abiotic stresses that causes extensive damage to plants. LEA (Late embryogenesis abundant) proteins play a crucial role in plant growth, development, and abiotic stress. However, there is limited research on the function of LEA genes in low-temperature stress in Brassica napus (rapeseed). Results: Total 306 potential LEA genes were identified in B. rapa (79), B. oleracea (79) and B. napus (148) and divided into eight subgroups. LEA genes of the same subgroup had similar gene structures and predicted subcellular locations. Cis-regulatory elements analysis showed that the promoters of BnaLEA genes rich in cis-regulatory elements related to various abiotic stresses. Additionally, RNA-seq and real-time PCR results indicated that the majority of BnaLEA family members were highly expressed in senescent tissues of rapeseed, especially during late stages of seed maturation, and most BnaLEA genes can be induced by salt and osmotic stress. Interestingly, the BnaA.LEA6.a and BnaC.LEA6.a genes were highly expressed across different vegetative and reproductive organs during different development stages, and showed strong responses to salt, osmotic, and cold stress, particularly freezing stress. Further analysis showed that overexpression of BnaA.LEA6.a increased the freezing tolerance in rapeseed, as evidenced by lower relative electrical leakage and higher survival rates compared to the wild-type (WT) under freezing treatment. Conclusion: This study is of great significance for understanding the functions of BnaLEA genes in freezing tolerance in rapeseed and offers an ideal candidate gene (BnaA.LEA6.a) for molecular breeding of freezing-tolerant rapeseed cultivars. We report the synthesis of a series of amphiphilic p‐sulfonatocalix[4]arenes with varying alkyl chain lengths (CX4‐Cn) and their application as efficient counterion activators for membrane transport of cell‐penetrating peptides (CPPs). The enhanced membrane activity is confirmed with the carboxyfluorescein (CF) assay in vesicles and by the direct cytosolic delivery of CPPs into CHO−K1, HCT 116, and KTC‐1 cells enabling excellent cellular uptake of the CPPs into two cancer cell lines. Intracellular delivery was confirmed by fluorescence microscopy after CPP entry into live cells mediated by CX4‐Cn, which was also quantified after cell lysis by fluorescence spectroscopy. The results present the first systematic exploration of structure‐activity relationships for calixarene‐based counterion activators and show that CX4‐Cn are exceptionally effective in cellular delivery of CPPs. The dodecyl derivative, CX4‐C12, serves as best activator. A first mechanistic insight is provided by efficient CPP uptake at 4 °C and in the presence of the endocytosis inhibitor dynasore, which indicates a direct translocation of the CPP‐counterion complexes into the cytosol and highlights the potential benefits of CX4‐Cn for efficient and direct translocation of CPPs and CPP‐conjugated cargo molecules into the cytosol of live cells. Summary Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys edulis) known as Mao Zhu (MZ) in Chinese exhibits various forms with distinct morphological characteristics. However, the evolutionary relationship among MZ forms and the mechanisms of culm shape variation are still lacking. Here, the main differences among MZ forms were identified as culm shape variation, which were confirmed by analysing MZ forms (799 bamboo culms) and MZ (458 bamboo culms) populations. To unravel the genetic basis underlying the morphological variations, 20 MZ forms were subjected to whole‐genome resequencing. Further analysis yielded 3 230 107 high‐quality SNPs and uncovered low genetic diversity and high genotype heterozygosity associated with MZ forms' formation. By integrating the SNP data of 427 MZ individuals representing 15 geographic regions, the origins of eight MZ forms were successfully traced using the phylogenetic tree and the identified common heterozygous loci. Meanwhile, transcriptomic analysis was performed using shoots from MZ and its two forms with culm shape variation. The results, combined with genomic analyses, demonstrated that hormone signalling related genes played crucial roles in culm variation. Co‐expression network analysis uncovered genes associated with multiple plant hormone signal transduction, especially auxin and cytokinin were involved in culm shape variation. Furthermore, the regulatory relationships of a specific transcription factor and their target genes associated with auxin and ethylene signalling were validated by yeast one‐hybrid, electrophoretic mobility shift assays, and dual‐luciferase reporter. Fuberidazole and pirimicarb are carbamate pesticides for insect control. There is pesticide accumulation through the food chain that may ultimately migrate into the human body through the crayfish. Here a rapid method for simultaneous determination of fuberidazole and pirimicarb in crayfish is reported. The excitation-emission fluorescence matrix was obtained by simple pretreatment of crayfish meat using acetonitrile, and qualitative and quantitative information was separated from overlapping spectra using the self-weighted alternating trilinear decomposition. The detection limits of the pesticides for fuberidazole and pirimicarb were 0.068 mg/kg and 0.160 mg/kg, respectively, and the limits of quantitation were 0.207 mg/kg and 0.485 mg/kg. The average recoveries were 90.79% and 98.77%. The results show that a combination of excitation-emission fluorescence matrix and alternating trilinear decomposition can be used for the determination of fuberidazole and pirimicarb in crayfish with simple pretreatment using acetonitrile. Simple Summary: Carbohydrate utilization is closely associated with level, chemical structure or processing method. Selecting an optimal carbohydrate source needs to take into consideration all these factors. This study investigated the effects of different carbohydrate sources, including monosaccharide and gelatinized or ungelatinized polysaccharide starch, on growth performance, hepatic glucose metabolism, antioxidant capacity, and immunity in juvenile largemouth bass. The results showed that dietary starch exhibited better growth performance independent of gelatinization. Ungelatinized potato starch was proved to be the more effective carbohydrate source for increasing hepatic glycolysis and ungelatinized tapioca starch better improved antioxidant and immune capacities. This study provides new information for selecting carbohydrate sources in artificial feed and helps improve fish health in farmed largemouth bass. This study investigated the effects of glucose (GLU), tapioca starch (TS), gelatinized tapioca starch (GTS), potato starch (PS) and gelatinized potato starch (GPS) on growth and physiological responses in juvenile largemouth bass Micropterus salmoides. After 8 weeks, fish fed with starch diets had better weight gain and growth rates. Counts of red blood cells and monocytes were increased in the PS and GPS groups, compared to GLU group. Contents of serum triglyceride and total cholesterol were markedly elevated in the TS, PS and GPS groups. There were lower levels of serum glucose, insulin and cholecystokinin, and higher agouti-related peptide contents in the PS group compared to GLU group. PS and GPS could enhance glycolysis and TCA cycle by increasing their enzyme activities and transcriptional levels. Additionally, starch sources markedly heightened mRNA levels of key genes involved in the respiratory electron transport chain. Additionally, elevated mRNA levels of key antioxidant genes were shown in the TS and GTS groups. Moreover, TS and PS could promote immunity by upregulating transcriptional levels of the complement system, lysozyme and hepcidin. Taken together, starch exhibited better growth via increasing glycolysis and TCA cycle compared with GLU, and PS could improve antioxidant and immune capacities in largemouth bass. Based on the conservation of resources theory, this study integrates the positive and negative aspects of the impact of servant leadership behaviors in the hospitality industry on leaders themselves. Using leaders’ and followers’ paired data from 346 employees nested in 101 teams and analyzed using path regression methods. The results reveal that servant leadership behaviors were positively related to the leader’s ego depletion, and the leader’s ego depletion was positively associated with the leader’s intention to leave. Servant leadership behaviors were positively related to leaders’ perceived work meaningfulness, and followers’ agreeableness significantly moderated the relationship between servant leadership behaviors and leaders’ ego depletion and the relationship between servant leadership behaviors and leaders’ perceived work meaningfulness. These findings broaden our understanding of the effects of servant leadership behaviors and provide new ideas on how to intervene in the negative effects of servant leadership behaviors. Background: The precise mechanisms underlying preeclampsia (PE) pathogenesis remain unclear. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are involved in the pathology of PE. The aim of our study was to identify the effects of protein phosphatase 2 regulatory subunit B α (PPP2R2A) on MSCs and ascertain its latent role in the progression of PE. Methods: Reverse-transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction and western blot analyses were performed to determine the expression of PPP2R2A in decidual tissue and decidual (d)MSCs from healthy pregnant women and patients with PE as well as the expression levels of Bax and Bcl-2 in dMSCs. The levels of p-PI3K, PI3K, p-AKT, and AKT were determined using western blotting. Cell growth, apoptosis, and migration were analyzed using MTT, flow cytometry, and Transwell assays, respectively. Human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVEC) tube formation ability was assayed using a HUVEC capillary-like tube formation assay. Results: PPP2R2A was downregulated in decidual tissues and dMSCs of patients with PE when compared with that in healthy pregnant women. Moreover, upregulation of PPP2R2A enhanced cell proliferation, reduced apoptotic dMSC, inhibited Bax expression, and increased Bcl-2 levels. Conditioned medium from PPP2R2A-overexpressing dMSCs promoted HTR-8/SVneo cell migration and angiogenesis of HUVEC. Furthermore, the PPP2R2A plasmid suppressed PI3K/AKT pathway activation in dMSCs. However, these effects were partially reversed by LY2940002 treatment. Conclusion: PPP2R2A inhibition contributes to PE by regulating the proliferation, apoptosis, and angiogenesis of MSCs, providing a new therapeutic target for PE diagnosis and treatment. Objective: To investigate the effects of dexmedetomidine (DEX) on the malignant biological behavior of gastric cancer (GC) cells through the immune regulation mechanism mediated by cyclic GMP-AMP synthase-stimulator of interferon gene (cGAS-STING) pathway. Methods: GC cell line MGC-803 was randomly divided into Control group (blank medium treatment), DEX low concentration group (DEX-L group, 1 ng/ml), DEX medium concentration group (DEX-M group, 10 ng/ml), DEX high concentration group (DEX-H group, 100 ng/ml) and DEX high concentration+cGAS inhibitor RU.521 group (DEX-H+RU.521 group, 100 ng/ml DEX+1.0 μmol/L RU.521). Cell proliferation was detected by CCK-8 method. Cell scratch test was used to detect the migration ability of cells in each group. Transwell test was used to detect the invasive ability of cells in each group. The apoptosis rate was detected by flow cytometry. The levels of IL-2, interferon gamma (IFN-γ) and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) in cells were detected by ELISA. Real time-fluorescent quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) was applied to detect the expression levels of cGAS, STING and interferon type I (IFN-I) mRNA. Western blot was used to detect the expressions of cGAS, STING, Bax, CyclinD1, matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP9), N-cadherin, Vimentin, E-cadherin, Caspase3, Caspase8 and their shear type and phosphorylation level of TANK-binding kinase 1 (TBK1) and interferon regulatory factor 3 (IRF3). Results: Compared with Control group, the cell migration rate, number of cell invasions, TNF-α level, CyclinD1, MMP9, N-cadherin, Vimentin protein expressions in MGC-803 cells in DEX-M and DEX-H groups were decreased obviously (P<0.05), the growth inhibition rate (48 h, 72 h), apoptosis rate, IL-2, IFN-γ, Bax, E-cadherin, Cleaved Caspase3, Cleaved Caspase8 protein expression levels, cGAS, STING, IFN-I mRNA levels and protein expression levels and phosphorylation levels of TBK1 and IRF3 were increased obviously (P<0.05). RU.521 weakened the inhibitory effects of DEX on the proliferation, migration and invasion of GC cells and the ability to induce apoptosis, and alleviated the improvement on immune function. The occurrence of corona discharge in ultra-high-voltage direct current transmission lines results in the generation of space charge, which significantly affects the nearby electromagnetic environment. To investigate the micro-physical mechanisms of discharge and provide better guidance for the calculation of the ground ion current density and total electric field, a method based on the theory of the transport of diluted species is proposed. This method enables the visualization and analysis of the movement process of space charge in air medium, as well as the calculation of the total electric field below the transmission lines. To validate the effectiveness of this algorithm, experimental tests of the total electric field are conducted on actual transmission lines. The experimental results demonstrate that the algorithm not only highlights the evident differences in the transient microscopic processes between positive and negative corona discharges but also accurately calculates the total electric field below the transmission lines. In addition, considering the weather conditions in the Chongqing region, relevant recommendations are provided under the influence of wind speed, aiming to offer protection guidelines for individuals engaged in activities near transmission lines. The energy transport in aero-acoustics is investigated in the Lagrangian frame. First, based on finite-time Lyapunov exponent (FTLE) and momentum potential theory, a Lagrangian approach is proposed to identify transport barriers of acoustic energy. Specifically, the method, named relative flux gradient (RFG), is presented in detail. Then, to verify the method, it is applied to analytical fields, showing that it could reveal the wavefronts and energy transport barriers depending on the time interval of computation. Moreover, RFG is applied to analyze a simulated flow field of an open cavity flow, and the results are compared with the Lagrangian coherent structures identified by FTLE, demonstrating great similarity. Importantly, the differences between the structures are further analyzed, illustrating several transport channels that correspond to the Rossiter mode and showing a complex interaction between acoustic and vorticity modes. Finally, the relationship between the identified transport barriers and the acoustic behaviors in Eulerian frame is studied in detail. This paper empirically investigates the impact of technology adoption on farmers' subjective well-being, as measured by happiness and life satisfaction. A theoretical framework is constructed to link farmers' subjective well-being to technology adoption, with a particular emphasis on mechanization services in agricultural production. By fitting a nationally representative panel dataset – China Family Panel Studies – into an endogenous switching regression model that addresses potential selection bias, we find that technology adoption leads to a 0.194 standard deviation increase in happiness and a 0.065 standard deviation increase in life satisfaction. Further analysis reveals that the effect is more pronounced for individuals engaged in off-farm employment and varies across farm sizes. To underpin the causal effect, we test three plausible mechanisms – absolute income, relative income, and leisure – which are well-documented in the literature for their correlations with happiness and life satisfaction. Our empirical analysis indicates that the adoption of agricultural mechanization services indeed increases the absolute income of farmers and allows them to allocate more time to leisure activities. In pursuit of enhancing the mechanical properties, especially the tensile strength, of 4D-printable consumables derived from waste cooking oil (WCO), we initiated the production of acrylate-modified WCO, which encompasses epoxy waste oil methacrylate (EWOMA) and epoxy waste oil acrylate (EWOA). Subsequently, a series of WCO-based 4D-printable photocurable resins were obtained by introducing a suitable diacrylate molecule as the second monomer, coupled with a composite photoinitiator system comprising Irgacure 819 and p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde (DMAB). These materials were amenable to molding using an LCD light-curing 3D printer. Our findings underscored the pivotal role of triethylene glycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA) among the array of diacrylate molecules in enhancing the mechanical properties of WCO-based 4D-printable resins. Notably, the 4D-printable material, composed of EWOA and TEGDMA in an equal mass ratio, exhibited nice mechanical strength comparable to that of mainstream petroleum-based 4D-printable materials, boasting a tensile strength of 9.17 MPa and an elongation at break of 15.39%. These figures significantly outperformed the mechanical characteristics of pure EWOA or TEGDMA resins. Furthermore, the EWOA-TEGDMA resin demonstrated impressive thermally induced shape memory performance, enabling deformation and recovery at room temperature and retaining its shape at −60 °C. This resin also demonstrated favorable biodegradability, with an 8.34% weight loss after 45 days of soil degradation. As a result, this 4D-printable photocurable resin derived from WCO holds immense potential for the creation of a wide spectrum of high-performance intelligent devices, brackets, mold, folding structures, and personalized products. Aim: To identify and appraise the quality of evidence of transitional care interventions on quality of life in lung cancer patients. Background: Quality of life is a strong predictor of survival. The transition from hospital to home is a high‐risk period for patients' readmission and death, which seriously affect their quality of life. Design: Systematic review and meta‐analysis. Methods: The PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science and CINAHL databases were searched from inception to 22 October 2022. The primary outcome was quality of life. Statistical analysis was conducted using Review Manager 5.4, results were expressed as standard mean difference (SMD) with a 95% confidence interval (CI). The risk of bias of the included studies was assessed using the Cochrane risk of bias assessment tool. This study was complied with PRISMA guidelines and previously registered in PROSPERO (CRD42023429464). Results: Fourteen randomized controlled trials were included consisting of a total of 1700 participants, and 12 studies were included in the meta‐analysis. It was found that transitional care interventions significantly improved quality of life (SMD = 0.21, 95% CI: 0.02 to 0.40, p =.03) and helped reduce symptoms (SMD = −0.65, 95% CI: −1.13 to −0.18, p =.007) in lung cancer patients, but did not significantly reduce anxiety and depression, and the effect on self‐efficacy was unclear. Conclusions: This study shows that transitional care interventions can improve quality of life and reduce symptoms in patients, and that primarily educational interventions based on symptom management theory appeared to be more effective. But, there was no statistically significant effect on anxiety and depression. The space time-sensitive multi-target collaborative observation scheduling problem extends the traditional Earth Observation Satellite (EOS) scheduling by incorporating the time dimension. Multiple effective and collaborative observations over time are required to collect relevant information on time-sensitive space targets in high-speed motion. Furthermore, changes in target spatial relationships cause conflicts in resource allocation. Due to the urgency of the time-sensitive targets, the observation system must respond promptly and efficiently upon receiving a task. This study proposes a mathematical model and a Time-Sensitive Observation Scheduling (TSOS) algorithm to address these problem characteristics. Firstly, a mathematical model for scheduling is established by introducing the completion quality index and resource switching frequency index, given the requirement for collaborative multiple satellites in this problem. The TSOS algorithm consists of two parts: task pre-processing and a circular scheduling strategy. In the task pre-processing module, the entire scheduling is divided into multiple observation decision intervals. This enables the candidate satellite set corresponding to each target to remain stable, which reduces the complexity of the problem. An action mapping method is used in the circular scheduling module, and a decision network based on Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) called the Observation Pair Decision Network is proposed. Experimental results demonstrate that the trained TSOS algorithm can effectively schedule resources in scenarios with different conflict degrees and exhibits strong robustness. Essential macronutrient nitrogen (N) is crucial for plant growth and yield, but excessive chemical N fertilizer not only increases unnecessary production costs but also causes environmental pollution. Therefore, reducing N fertilizer use by increasing organic fertilizer use is crucial for sustainable agriculture. In this study, we investigated the effects of three nitrogen levels—the recommended rate (N), a 20.0% reduced rate (0.8N), and a 40.0% reduced rate (0.6N)—and two levels of organic fertilizer—a normal dose (M) and a four-times the normal dose (4M)—combined with root application of the beneficial element silicon (Si) on the photosynthetic characteristics, yield, and fruit quality of the tomato cultivar 'Tianxi No. 5'. Compared with M + N treatment, the longitudinal diameter, transverse diameter, fruit weight, and fruit yield of tomato fruit in 4M + 0.6N treatment significantly increased by 12.4%, 14.6%, 14.5%, and 12.8%, respectively, while the yield was further improved with Si application. In addition, a reduction in N fertilizer and an increase in organic fertilizer, combined with Si application, improved fruit quality parameters such as concentrations of vitamin C, lycopene, phenols, flavonoids, sucrose, fructose, etc., and promoted sugar metabolism-related enzyme activity (sucrose synthase, invertase, and sucrose phosphate synthase) and the accumulation of N in the fruit. The principal component analysis and three-factor analysis of variance (ANOVA) of the fruit quality and yield indices showed that nitrogen fertilizer, organic fertilizer, silicon fertilizer, and the interaction of the three had significant effects on the quality and yield of tomato fruits, and that the 4M + 0.6N + Si treatment had the best combined effect on the yield and quality of the tomatoes. Thus, a moderate reduction in chemical N fertilizer, combined with increased organic fertilizer and Si, could be an effective agronomic practice for improving the yield and quality of tomatoes. Ecological restoration of rare earth element (REE) mining areas has become a key component in the sustainable development of the ion-adsorption-type REE industry. Current studies on ecological restoration assessments are mainly based on a comparison of REE mining ranges conducted over two or more periods, therefore, the dynamic evolution of spatial patterns for REE mining and vegetation recovery remains to be elucidated. Rapid advances in remote sensing techniques, along with the cloud-based Google Earth Engine (GEE), can provide an effective and convenient observation strategy for monitoring the environment in mining areas. In this study, we propose a hybrid method consisting of a random forest (RF) classifier and Landsat-based detection of trends in disturbance and recovery (LandTrendr) to identify and monitor the disturbance of REE mining and vegetation recovery in REE mining areas in the southern Jiangxi Province of China from 1988 to 2021 based on the GEE platform. The results reveal that REE mining activities were widespread in the study area, and the spatial distribution of REE mining areas was highly dispersed. The total area of REE mining in the study region was 93.14 km2, and the greatest REE mining activity was observed in the year 2006. As of 2021, the vegetation coverage area in the REE mining zone reached 47.44 km2, with a recovery rate of 50.93%. Among the seven counties in the study area, Longnan county had the lowest level of vegetation recovery in REE mining areas. A total of 95% of the vegetation recovery events in REE mining areas lasted between 1 and 18 years. These observations suggest that LandTrendr efficiently captured REE mining-induced disturbances and vegetation recovery and offers important reference data for the formulation of mining area restoration strategies. We established myocardial injury models in vivo and in vitro to investigate the cardioprotective effect of gomisin D obtained from Schisandra chinensis. Gomisin D significantly inhibited isoproterenol-induced apoptosis and hypertrophy in H9C2 cells. Gomisin D decreased serum BNP, ANP, CK-MB, cTn-T levels and histopathological alterations, and inhibited myocardial hypertrophy in mice. In mechanisms research, gomisin D reversed ISO-induced accumulation of intracellular ROS and Ca2+. Gomisin D further improved mitochondrial energy metabolism disorders by regulating the TCA cycle. These results demonstrated that gomisin D had a significant effect on isoproterenol-induced myocardial injury by inhibiting oxidative stress, calcium overload and improving mitochondrial energy metabolism. Bismuth vanadate (BiVO4) is reported as a key material in photoelectrocatalysis owing to high theoretical efficiency, relatively narrow band gap of 2.4 eV, and favorable conduction band edge position for hydrogen evolution. However, the sluggish hole transport dynamics lead to slow photogenerated charge separation and transport efficiencies, which result in charge recombination due to aggregation. Herein, a novel hole transport layer of copper(I) thiocyanate (CuSCN) with the aim of significantly enhancing the efficiency of charge transport and stability of BiVO4 photoanodes is reported. The introduction of the hole transport layer could provide an appropriate intermediate energy level for photogenerated hole transfer and avoid charge recombination and trapping. After a photoassisted electrodeposition process of NiCoFe‐Bi catalysis, the obtained photoanode achieves a photocurrent density of 5.6 mA cm−2 at 1.23 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode under AM 1.5 G simulated solar radiation, and an applied bias photon to current efficiency of 2.31%. With the CuSCN layer, BiVO4 photoanode presented impressive stable photocurrent during 50 h continuous illumination. Meanwhile, the unbiased tandem device of the NiCoFe‐Bi/CuSCN/BiVO4 photoanode and the Si solar cell exhibit a solar‐to‐hydrogen efficiency of 5.75% and excellent stability for 14 h. Summary: Idiopathic multicentric Castleman disease (iMCD) is subclassified into iMCD‐thrombocytopenia, anasarca, reticulin fibrosis, renal dysfunction, organomegaly (TAFRO) and iMCD‐not otherwise specified (NOS) according to the Castleman Disease Collaborative Network (CDCN) consensus criteria. With a deeper understanding of iMCD, a group of patients with iMCD‐NOS characterised by polyclonal hypergammaglobulinaemia, plasmacytic/mixed‐type lymph node histopathology and thrombocytosis has attracted attention. This group of patients has been previously described as having idiopathic plasmacytic lymphadenopathy (IPL). Whether these patients should be excluded from the current classification system lacks sufficient evidence. This retrospective analysis of 228 patients with iMCD‐NOS identified 103 (45.2%) patients with iMCD‐IPL. The clinical features and outcomes of patients with iMCD‐IPL and iMCD‐NOS without IPL were compared. Patients with iMCD‐IPL showed a significantly higher inflammatory state but longer overall survival. No significant difference in overall survival was observed between severe and non‐severe patients in the iMCD‐IPL group according to the CDCN severity classification. Compared with lymphoma‐like treatments, multiple myeloma‐like and IL‐6‐blocking treatment approaches in the iMCD‐IPL group resulted in significantly higher response rates and longer time to the next treatment. Soft x-ray detectors play crucial roles in biology, chemistry, and lithography. Current soft x-ray detectors suffer from insufficient responsivity (R), excessively large cell area, and limited stability. Here, the β-Ga2O3 soft x-ray detector is constructed, and the effects of varying the sensitive layer thickness and voltage on the soft x-ray detection characteristics of the device are explored. Meanwhile, the mechanism of the multiplication ionization process from soft x-ray and the photoconductivity gain on the photoresponse performance of the device are analyzed. The device obtains the R up to 3.05 × 103 A/W under 300 eV soft x-ray irradiation at the synchrotron beamline, which is about 1.19 × 104 times higher than that of the conventional device. The Ga2O3 device also maintains stable operation under long-term irradiation and multicycle switching. Based on a sample of Chinese public manufacturing firms, this study empirically investigates whether and how analyst coverage drives corporate social responsibility (CSR) under different governance or information conditions. The results show that firms with greater analyst coverage take more social responsibility, representing magnified concerns and better CSR visibility for legitimacy and reputation. This relationship could be strengthened under high governance condition (high institutional ownership ratio, none CEO duality, low executive ownership) or low information situation (high earnings management and low accounting conservatism). Limited research has been carried out to investigate the local damage features of reinforced concrete (RC) beams under close‐in explosions. To better capture the local damage features of rectangular cross‐sectional RC beams, a numerical study on the RC beams subjected to close‐in explosions based on the calibrated Karagozian & Case (K&C) concrete model was conducted in LSDYNA. First, a systematic calibration of the K&C model for concrete was performed in the single‐element numerical analysis. Calibration of the K&C model consists of parameter determination for the new strength surfaces, modification of the damage function to better feature the tensile behavior of concrete, elimination of the element size effect by introducing an element size factor and determination of the scaled damage factors. The new strength surfaces are verified and determined through both the approximation calculation method and the parameter fitting method. And the damage function was modified by reducing the termination of λ to better characterize the brittleness of concrete and feature the tensile failure. A comparison between the numerical results and the corresponding experimental results demonstrates that the calibrated K&C model and established FEM model of RC beams subjected to close‐in explosions can well characterize the local damage features of RC beams. On this basis, a further parameter analysis on the factors influencing the local damage response of RC beams was conducted by considering reinforcement details (stirrup spacing and longitudinal reinforcement diameter) and charge details (charge mass and aspect ratio). Results show that the close‐in explosions destroyed the concrete corners in the blast surface with shear stress first and the side shear failure of concrete corners weakens the concrete core strength and contributes to the greater loss of concrete core. Rear spalling damage was initially caused by the bond failure between the tensile longitudinal reinforcement and the surrounding concrete. An adaptive neural network fault‐tolerant control method is proposed for the non‐affine multi‐agent systems with actuator failure and input saturation. Through the transformation of the original multi‐agent systems, an equivalent model is proposed. Considering that the signal input of multi‐agent systems is limited, this article will solve the input saturation problem. But in a real system, the actuator would probably fail. Therefore, a fault tolerant control algorithm is proposed to solve the fault problem in the systems. In this article, an adaptive distributed controller is designed to eliminate the uncertainty of the systems. In robot grinding, the path planning has always been the main factor affecting the grinding efficiency. To improve the accuracy and automation level of robot grinding, a novel path planning method based on workpiece point cloud is proposed for the grinding of weld seam on curved surface. First, the point cloud of workpiece is obtained by the binocular structured light camera. After data preprocessing, this paper presents a novel approach of tangent planes determination based on the idea of point cloud slicing, which involves 3D projection and image binary extraction. Second, an approach for extracting the weld feature points is proposed based on the deviation term. By calculating the intersecting points between tangent planes and workpiece point cloud, this approach identifies the weld profile and extracts the feature points located in weld center. Then, to reduce the vibration in grinding, the feature points are polynomial fitted to generate a continuous weld grinding path, and a method of posture planning for grinding tool is presented based on grinding tool model and grinding process. This study was designed to determine the role of the inflammatory process in diabetic retinopathy and investigate the effect of FTY720 on high glucose (HG)-induced rat retinal Müller cells (rMC-1 cells).In the present study, the role of FTY720 in inhibiting inflammation and its underlying mechanism were investigated. rMC-1 cells were treated without or with HG, FTY720, CQ, or RAP. Cell viability was examined by CCK-8 assay; cell activation was assessed by western blot analysis and IF staining; and cell migration was evaluated by a scratch wound healing assay. The expression of inflammation-associated proteins and autophagy-related proteins was evaluated by transmission electron microscopy, AO staining, MDC-labeled autophagic vacuoles, western blot analysis and ELISA.Western blot analysis and IF staining showed that the level of the rMC-1 cell marker GFAP was decreased, while GS was increased in FTY720 groups compared to that in the HG group. The healing assay results showed that compared with HG treatment, FTY720 treatment significantly reduced cell migration. Western blot analysis, ELISA and IF staining showed that compared with HG, FTY720 reduced proinflammatory proteins by inhibiting the mechanistic target of the mTOR/NF-κB signaling pathway and regulating autophagy.This study suggests that in an HG-induced rMC-1 cell model, FTY720 significantly inhibited the production of inflammatory cytokines by inhibiting mTOR/NF-κB signaling and regulating autophagy. (E,E)‐2,4‐Decadienal is an important product of deep‐frying systems and is regarded as a health hazard. The present study investigated the formation of (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal in deep‐fried dough sticks under different conditions, including types of deep‐frying oils, deep‐frying temperature, and dough composition. In addition, the correlation between (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal formation and deep‐frying conditions was analyzed. The results showed that the (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal content in the deep‐frying system was related to the linoleic acid level in the deep‐frying oils. Furthermore, adding 6% soy protein isolate to the dough considerably suppressed the formation of (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal in the deep‐frying system, resulting in the lowest content at 43.52 mg kg–1. The highest (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal content in the deep‐frying system (64.65 mg kg–1) was observed when a dough with a moisture content of 38% was used. The results of the correlation analysis revealed a strong association between the (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal content in the deep‐fried dough sticks and their oil absorption capacity. The (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal content increased with higher oil content in the deep‐fried dough sticks. Therefore, suppressing the oil absorption of deep‐fried dough sticks is an important approach for controlling (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal content. Practical applications: As one kind of traditional deep‐fried foods in China, deep‐fried dough sticks attracted the attention of consumers because of its desirable flavor and texture. Thus, it is crucial to improve its safety and quality. As is known, (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal is harmful to health, and it is the main aldehyde component in the deep‐frying system. Herein, it is important to improve the safety of deep‐fried dough sticks while suppressing the formation of (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal in deep‐frying system and reducing the content of (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal in deep‐fried dough sticks. On the one hand, the use of deep‐frying oils with lower level of linoleic acid could limit the formation of (E,E)‐2,4‐decadienal in deep‐frying system, which could also be achieved with the addition of protein into the dough. This paper introduces an application of the dandelion optimization (DO) algorithm in antenna arrays. This is the first time that the DO algorithm has been used for optimizing antenna arrays. For antenna array optimization, sidelobe level (SLL) and deep nulls are key technical indicators. A lower SLL can improve the signal-to-noise ratio and reduce the impact of clutter signals outside the main beam. Deep nulls need to be aligned with the direction of interference to eliminate the influence of interference sources. The combination of the two can effectively improve the anti-interference ability of the entire system. Therefore, antenna arrays with ultra-low sidelobes and ultra-deep nulls are currently hot in the field of antenna array design and are also some of the key technologies needed to achieve modern high-performance radar systems. As a new type of evolutionary algorithm inspired by nature, the DO algorithm is inspired by the wind propagation behavior of dandelions in nature. This algorithm iteratively updates the population from three stages of ascent, descent, and landing, ultimately finding the optimal position. It has good optimization ability in solving complex problems such as those involving nonlinearity, discreteness, and non-convexity, and the antenna array pattern synthesis optimization problem belongs to multivariate nonlinear problems. Therefore, the DO algorithm can be effectively applied in the field of antenna array optimization. In this work, we use the following method to obtain an optimized pattern of a linear array with the lowest sidelobe level (SLL), null placement in particular directions, and a lower notch in particular directions: by controlling the antenna array's element spacing and leaving the phase unchanged to optimize the current amplitudes and by controlling the excitation current and phase fixation of the antenna array and changing the element spacing. In the first and second examples, different algorithms are used to reduce the SLL of the antenna. In the first example, the DO algorithm reduces the SLL to −33.37 dB, which is 2.67 dB, 2.67 dB, 3.77 dB, 2.74 dB, and 2.52 dB lower than five other algorithms. In the second example, the SLL optimized by the DO algorithm is −42.56 dB, which is 5.04 dB and 1.48 dB lower than two other algorithms. In both examples, the DO algorithm reduces the SLL lower than other algorithms when the main lobe of the antenna is not significantly widened. Examples 3, 4, and 5 use the DO algorithm to optimize the amplitude of the current, generating deep nulls and deep notches in specific directions. In Example 3, the DO algorithm obtains a depth of nulls equal to −187.6 dB, which is 66.7 dB and 44.3 dB lower than that of the flower pollination algorithm (FPA) and the chaotic colony predation algorithm (CCPA), respectively. In Example 4, the deep null obtained by the DO algorithm is as low as −98.69 dB, which is 6.67 dB lower than the deep null obtained by the grey wolf optimization (GWO) algorithm. In Example 5, the deep notch obtained by the DO algorithm is as low as −63.1 dB, which is 6.4 dB and 1.9 dB lower than the spider monkey optimization (SMO) algorithm and the grasshopper optimization algorithm (GOA), respectively. The data prove that the DO algorithm produces deeper nulls and notches than other algorithms. The last two examples involve reducing sidelobe levels and generating deep nulls by optimizing the spacing between elements. In Example 5, the SLL obtained using the DO algorithm is −22.8766 dB, which is 0.1998 dB lower than the lowest SLL of −22.6768 dB among other algorithms. In Example 6, the SLL obtained using the DO algorithm is −20.1012 dB, and the null depth is −125.1 dB, which is 1.592 dB lower than the SLL obtained by the cat swarm optimization (CSO) algorithm and 19.1 dB lower than the deep null obtained by the GWO algorithm, respectively. With the rapid development of big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and other technological advancements, digital twin (DT) technology is increasingly being applied to the field of bridge structural health monitoring. Achieving the precise implementation of DT relies significantly on a dual-drive approach, combining the influence of both physical model-driven and data-driven methodologies. In this paper, two methods are proposed to predict the displacement and dynamic response of structures under strong winds, namely, a Bayesian Neural Network (BNN) model based on Bayesian inference and a finite element model (FEM) method modified based on genetic algorithms (GAs) and multi-objective optimization (MOO) using response surface methodology (RSM). The characteristics of these approaches in predicting the dynamic response of large-span bridges are explored, and a comparative analysis is conducted to evaluate their differences in computational accuracy, efficiency, model complexity, interpretability, and comprehensiveness. The characteristics of the two methods were evaluated using data collected on the Forth Road Bridge (FRB) as an example under unusual weather conditions with strong wind action. This work proposes a dual-driven approach, integrating machine learning and FEM with GNSS and Earth Observation for Structural Health Monitoring (GeoSHM), to bridge the gap in the limited application of dual-driven methods primarily applied for small- and medium-sized bridges to large-span bridge structures. The research results show that the BNN model achieved higher R 2 values for predicting the Y and Z displacements (0.9073 and 0.7969, respectively) compared to the FEM model (0.6167 and 0.6283). The BNN model exhibited significantly faster computation, taking only 20 s, while the FEM model required 5 h. However, the physical model provided higher interpretability and the ability to predict the dynamic response of the entire structure. These findings help to promote the further integration of these two approaches to obtain an accurate and comprehensive dual-driven approach for predicting the structural dynamic response of large-span bridge structures affected by strong wind loading. High grade epithelial ovarian carcinoma is an aggressive tumor. Treatment includes platinum therapy, however it recurs in most patients due to therapy resistance. In this project, we study the immunohistochemical (IHC) expression of five potential biomarkers/prognostic markers in high grade epithelial ovarian carcinoma: EGFR, HLA-G, CD70, c-MET, and NY-ESO1. A cohort of 274 patients is used. We compare the IHC expression with age, stage, ascites status, family history of cancer, disease free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS). EGFR expression is significantly correlated with family history and worse OS. HLA-G is associated with worse OS. To confirm the results of EGFR and HLA-G, a second separated cohort of 248 patients is used. Positive EGFR expression again shows worse OS, while HLA-G expression has worse prognostic trend. CD70 has a worse OS trend. C-MET and NY-ESO1 do not have any clinical correlations. EGFR can potentially serve as target in future clinical immune therapy trials. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

An electrochemical sensor for detecting ketoprofen was constructed by in-situ grown copper cobaltate (CuCo2O4) nanoneedle arrays on a carbon cloth (CC) substrate. The resulting porous nanoneedle arrays not only expose numerous electrochemically active sites but also significantly enhance the electrochemical apparent active area and current transmission efficiency. By leveraging its electrochemical properties, the sensor achieves an impressive detection limit for ketoprofen of 0.7 pM, with a linear range spanning from 2 pM ~ 2 µM. Furthermore, the sensor exhibits remarkable reproducibility, anti-interference capabilities, and stability. Notably, the developed sensor also performed ketoprofen detection on real samples (including drug formulations and wastewater) and demonstrated excellent recognition ability. These exceptional performances can be attributed to the direct growth of CuCo2O4 nanoneedle arrays on the CC substrate, which facilitates a robust electrical connection, provides abundant electrocatalytic active sites, and expands the apparent active area. Accumulating evidence has shown that neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) released by activated neutrophils are important for initiating and perpetuating synovial inflammation and thereby could be a promising therapeutic target for RA. K/B × N serum transfer-induced arthritis (STIA) is a rapidly developed joint inflammatory model that somehow mimics the inflammatory response in patients with RA. Human gingival-derived mesenchymal stem cells (GMSCs) have been previously shown to possess immunosuppressive effects in arthritis and humanized animal models. However, it is unknown whether GMSCs can manage neutrophils in autoimmune arthritis. To evaluate whether infusion of GMSCs can alleviate RA by regulating neutrophils and NETs formation. If this is so, we will explore the underlying mechanism(s) in an animal model of inflammatory arthritis. The effects of GMSCs on RA were assessed by comparing the symptoms of the K/B × N serum transfer-induced arthritis (STIA) model administered either with GMSCs or with control cells. Phenotypes examined included clinical scores, rear ankle thickness, paw swelling, inflammation, synovial cell proliferation, and immune cell frequency. The regulation of GMSCs on NETs was examined through immunofluorescence and immunoblotting in GMSCs-infused STIA mice and in an in vitro co-culture system of neutrophils with GMSCs. The molecular mechanism(s) by which GMSCs regulate NETs was explored both in vitro and in vivo by silencing experiments. We found in this study that adoptive transfer of GMSCs into STIA mice significantly ameliorated experimental arthritis and reduced neutrophil infiltration and NET formation. In vitro studies also showed that GMSCs inhibited the generation of NETs in neutrophils. Subsequent investigations revealed that GMSCs secreted prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) to activate protein kinase A (PKA), which ultimately inhibited the downstream extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) pathway that is essential for NET formation. Our results demonstrate that infusion of GMSCs can ameliorate inflammatory arthritis mainly by suppressing NET formation via the PGE2-PKA-ERK signaling pathway. These findings further support the notion that the manipulation of GMSCs is a promising stem cell-based therapy for patients with RA and other autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Despite the proven impermeability of graphene toward most standard gases, graphene/graphite sealed SiO2 cavities always exhibit a nonzero leak rate, and the physical leakage mechanism is still unclear. By measuring leak rates of different gases for the same cavities sealed by ultrathin graphite under identical conditions, we find that the leak rates generally depend on the kinetic diameter of the gas molecules, which implies that the leakage is caused by a molecular sieving mechanism. By comparing different samples, we find that the leak rate of any gas in a particular sample is well predicted by the leak rate of N2 in that sample. In addition, we observe enhanced leak rates of water-soluble molecules. We infer that the leakage path (i.e., the graphene/graphite–SiO2 interface) favors hydrophilic species. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The photoexcited carrier dynamics of high-purity (HPSI) and vanadium-doped semi-insulating (VDSI) 4H-SiC irradiated by lasers with different wavelengths and powers were investigated. Raman spectra were measured at room temperature and the photoexcited carrier concentrations were extracted from the Raman line shape analysis of longitudinal optical phonon–plasmon coupled mode. It was found that the longitudinal optical (LO) peaks of HPSI and VDSI did not shift with laser power variations, due to a low concentration of photoexcited carriers, when a 532- nm laser was used. However, when a 355- nm laser was adapted, the relationship between the photoexcited carrier concentrations and the laser power was found to be nonlinear because of the dominance of trap-assisted Auger (TAA) recombination. The coefficient of TAA recombination was laser power–dependent. The proposed carrier dynamic model deepens the understanding of the physical mechanism of semi-insulating SiC irradiated by nanosecond laser and provides an insight into the interpretation of experimental phenomena related to laser energy in optoelectronic devices. Abstract:ObjectiveMethodsResultsConclusionTo evaluate the variations in serum levels of microRNA-21 (miR-21) and S-100B protein in neonates with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) after receiving hypothermia therapy and explore the correlation of these biomarkers with the neurodevelopmental prognosis of the infants.This retrospective analysis included 90 neonatal HIE patients diagnosed and treated between January 2019 and December 2022. Real-time quantitative PCR and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) methods were used to measure miR-21 and S-100B protein levels. Neurodevelopmental assessments were conducted at one year, and follow-up was performed using the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development third edition. Statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS software, with t-tests for continuous variables, chi-square tests for categorical data, Pearson correlation coefficient for correlation analysis, and multivariate regression analysis to adjust for confounding factors.After hypothermia therapy, the observation group showed a significant decrease in miR-21 and S-100B protein levels (P < 0.001), and neurodevelopmental scores were significantly higher than the control group (P < 0.05). Correlation analysis indicated a negative correlation between miR-21 and neurodevelopmental scores (r=-0.62, P < 0.001), as well as a negative correlation between S-100B protein levels (r=-0.76, P < 0.001). Carbazole compounds are widely used in determining the direction of petroleum migration, but the effect of thermal maturity on carbazoles is still ambiguity. In this paper, using compaction pyrolysis simulation experiments, artificial mature samples with vitrinite reflectance (Ro) range from 0.38 to 3.0% were acquired. And the content and composition change characteristics of carbazole compounds were analyzed in coal source rocks. The experimental results showed that thermal maturity controls the generation of a large amount of carbazole compounds in coal rocks. Compared with the low mature stage, the content of carbazole compounds was about 10–100 times higher in the mature stage. With the increasing maturity, in the coal sample, the content of carbazole compounds showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing. In derivatives of carbazole, the corresponding maturity for the maximum generation of ethylcarbazole (EC), dimethylcarbazole (DMCA), methylcarbazole (MCA), carbazole (CA) and benzocarbazole (BCA) performed the increasing sequence. With the increasing maturity, the relative abundance of 2-MCA, 1,7-DMCA and benzo[a]carbazole increased with the increasing maturity, while 4-MCA, 1,4-DMCA and benzo[c]carbazole gradually decreased. Benzocarbazole ratio [a]/[a] +[ c] varies only in a narrow range 0.36–0.61 in the entire maturity range, suggesting limited maturity dependence. Background: At present, the relationship between serum uric acid and blood glucose is controversial, and even opposite conclusions have been reached. We aimed to investigate the relationship between time in range and serum uric acid and estimate the influence of serum uric acid on blood glucose fluctuations in Chinese patients with type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Methods: A total of 458 hospitalized patients with T2DM were selected. According to the SUA level, patients were divided into four groups by quartile: Q1 (≤ 254.5 µmol/L), Q2 (254.5–306.0 µmol/L), Q3 (306.0–385.5 µmol/L) and Q4 (> 385.5 µmol/L). The differences in general data, TIR and other clinical indicators between the four groups were assessed. Multifactor regression was used to analyze the relationship between subgroups of SUA and TIR, TBR, TAR, MAGE, SD, ADRR, MODD and M value. Curve fitting was used to analyze the association between TIR and SUA and to identify the inflection point. Results: TIR showed an overall increasing trend with increasing SUA, while HbA1c, TAR, MAGE, SD, ADRR, MODD and M value showed an overall decreasing trend with increasing SUA. Multivariate regression analysis showed that, compared with Q1, there was no correlation between SUA and TIR, TAR, ADRR, SD, or MODD in all models of Q2. In the Q3 and Q4 groups, SUA was correlated with SD, MODD, and MAGE in all models. In the Q4 group, SUA was correlated with TIR, TAR, ADRR, and the M value in all models. When SUA > 306 µmol/L (Q3 and Q4), TIR and SUA have a curve-like relationship, and the inflection point of the fitted curve was SUA = 460 mmol/L. Before the inflection point, β was 0.1, indicating that when SUA increases by 10 mmol/L, the corresponding TIR increases by 1%. After the inflection point, there was no significant difference in the correlation between TIR and SUA (P > 0.05). Conclusions: There is a close relationship between TIR and SUA in T2DM patients, it is speculated that SUA in a certain range had a positive protective effect on blood glucose control. On account of the strong electrostatic repulsion and poor robustness, Prussian Blue analogues (PBAs) suffer severely from the inevitable and large strain and phase change during reversible Al3+ insertion. Herein, we demonstrate an entropy‐driven strategy to realize ultralong life aqueous Al‐ion batteries (AIBs) based on medium entropy PBAs (ME‐PBAs) host. By multiple redox active centers introduction, the intrinsic poor conductivity can be enhanced simultaneously, resulting in outstanding capabilities of electrochemical Al3+ storage. Meanwhile, the co‐occupation at metal sites in PBA frameworks can also increase the M−N bond intensity, which is beneficial for constraining the phase change during consecutive Al3+ reversible insertion, to realize an extended lifespan over 10,000 cycles. Based on the calculation at different operation states, the fluctuation of ME‐PBA lattice parameters is only 1.2 %. Assembled with MoO3 anodes, the full cells can also deliver outstanding electrochemical properties.
