The logistics component of every effective supply chain must be the focus to guarantee the timely, safe, and uninterrupted delivery of finished goods to clients. For the finished goods to leave the company's facilities as soon as manufacturing is complete and arrive at a specified destination as quickly as feasible, the outbound logistics system must operate effectively. Adequate outbound logistics guarantees that demand is satisfied at the destination on time and in full, leading to increased sales and ultimately fostering consumer loyalty and satisfaction. Unfortunately, a noticeable amount of time loss has been observed in the food factory outbound logistics, mainly the waiting time for the truck-loading process. This project aims to analyze and minimize the outbound logistics time. It is a valuable opportunity to improve the truck loading process to reduce the negative effect of losing the company's sales and goodwill with customers. This project follows the A3 methodology to analyze the current situation and reduce the related time waste by using Lean tools to identify waste components and find potential areas for development. After data analysis, five suggested solutions were revealed to improve processes and decrease related waste. The paging system solution was chosen because it satisfied the food factory waiting time goal, requirements, specifications, and constraints. This project has shown a noticeable improvement by reducing the waiting time before truck loading in the business-to-business warehouse by 48.18% and retail warehouse by 8.11%. Crowds, emergencies, and traffic evacuations are examples of social systems. These complex, dynamic systems are challenging to analyze and comprehend. Two well-known techniques for modeling and simulating social systems are the agent-based (AB) model and the social force (SF) model. Whereas social force modeling focuses on the physical factors that influence how individuals move and communicate in a crowd while agent-based modeling focuses on the behavior of individual agents. Although each technique has its own advantages and disadvantages, combining them is a significant ability to capture both the social and physical components of human behavior. This work aims to combine both of these techniques, AB and SF and to capture the interactions between individual agents and the elements of the force that influence their behavior, leading to more realistic simulations of social systems. Nevertheless, there are difficulties involved in combining agentbased and social force modeling, such as choosing the appropriate system complexity and making sure that the simulation faithfully replicates the real-world system being represented. Hence, in order to overcome these obstacles and present a more precise and thorough knowledge of social systems, the creation of a conceptual framework for combining various methods is crucial. This paper presents the implementation and development of a simulation model with integrated AB and SF techniques. With the rapid development of fashion, it can boost labor-intensive industry players, especially in the garment sector. PT PBT is a garment company that produces make to order. This research will be carried out on jacket products, this is because it is in the old preparation department, causing a lot of waiting time. In addition, line balancing on PpA and Quilting processes is one of the focuses of this study. The purpose of this study is to identify the location of the bottleneck in the production process, in addition to knowing the bottleneck at the work station. The method used in this research is a simulation model. From the simulation results, it is found that two work stations have more than 50% full process so that improvements are made to the second scenario which can increase the total exit by 14%, besides that, it can reduce the average time in the system by 2% and reduce the average time in operation by 13%. In the context of Industry 4.0, the level of workshop production automation has been greatly improved. Flexible flow workshops that produce multiple varieties and small batches of products have rich resources and complex processing procedures, where are featured by many constraints for the production scheduling and varying practical procedure of the production. Traditional production scheduling research is mostly based on mathematical methods by simplifying the production model to a mathematical model and using algorithms to find the optimal solution. This method is not accurate enough to model the realistic production process in the workshop, which leads to inadequate guidance for actual production. This paper proposes an optimization production scheduling method based on simulation model and establishes a systematic simulation-based flow shop scheduling framework. It uses a database as a bridge to external optimization algorithms and internal simulation models, and realizes intelligent production scheduling and simulation through real-time interaction. This research is able to accurately reflect the processing logic of the actual flow shop, and the result of scheduling shows that the proposed method has more practical significance for guiding the actual production process. Humanity is facing an unprecedent sanitary crisis. Vaccination campaigns at large scale are being carried out all over the world. This research analyzes and compare two supply chain virtual models that simulate a stratified vaccination campaign in central southern Chile. In the first model the gravity model is applied to locate distribution centers. In the second model, the criterion of service distance is applied to locate distribution centers. Both models have identical three-echelon configuration with 1 supplier, 5 distribution centers and 20 vaccination points. Simulation results revealed that in first model, distribution vehicles travel 14,300 km to deliver 2.48 million vaccines, having a 0.33-day lead time with a fleet of 8 vehicles. In the second model, vehicles travel 21,050 km to deliver 2.48 million vaccines, having a 0.83-day lead time was 0.83 days with a fleet of 13. In both cases, 5 distribution centers are and 100% of the vaccines are delivered on time. In conclusion, simulation results suggest that virtual models for simulating supply chain models can be useful when planning vaccination campaigns and making decision about resources' allocation. This study proposes a facility layout improvement design model that aims to improve the labor productivity in selected garments manufacturing in Metro Manila. According to study, facilities layout design is one of the key areas, which have significant contribution towards manufacturing productivity in terms of cost and time, in a manufacturing system (Tompkins, 2003). This research design includes an integration of process analysis, facility design and plant layout using SimRunner software. In this study, layout design factors were identified to determine its significant affect to the labor productivity such as number of units produced, processing time, number of workstations, distance travelled and resource utilization. The factors were analyzed and compared using different types of facility layout like U-shape, Pshape, I-shape, S-shape and J-shape layout. It was proved in the study that J-shape layout resulted in the highest % improvement of 95.8% in labor productivity and yielded the highest output, shortest processing time, shortest travel distance and highest utilization of workstation. In this research, a bionic prosthetic hand model is designed and built according to the limitations of the human hand, the model is then controlled using a computer algorithm written in MATLAB™ and embedded with Arduino Uno™ based controller. We conduct simulation model by developing algorithm for commanding the system to follow a few arm movement patterns. Forward kinematics algorithm is used to process the user’s input and define control parameters for the bionic arm. The experimental results indicated that the proposed algorithm has already met the desired specifications even though we still require the hardware with high enough specification for actuation purpose. The work is devoted to the development of a system-dynamic model for assessing the effectiveness of the company's IT strategies portfolio. Based on the analysis of the dynamics of four components of the corporate portfolio (personnel, business processes, finance, customers), a series of computer experiments were conducted in the simulation environment of Powersim Studio 7 in order to obtain forecasts for two states of the company - with IT strategies and without them. It was found that with the presence of IT strategies, the efficiency of interaction between all components of the system increases significantly (by 10-40%). Parameters optimization of the PI controller was investigated for the header flux control of Ultra-fast cooling. Taking the measured curve, Ultra-fast cooling (UFC) header flux under different open rate of valve, as the input parameters, a simulation model was developed. Based on the coupling control of proportion(P) and integration(I), the parameters with minimum root-mean-square-error of header flux was considered as the best. The simulation results showed that the optimal integration time was 600ms under industrial conditions. Furthermore, the collection equations for the P and I controller were established by the newly developed simulation model. The results from the 011-site implementation indicated that the flux deviation between target and measured values was less than ±1.0m3/h during the constant operation of the UFC header, and the overshoot value was within 3.0in3/li of the apparent interference. A method and a program instrument for estimating the airpower for destroying an enemy runway is proposed. A simulation model of destroying an enemy runway with arbitrary parameters by any munitions is created. An algorithm of statistical estimation by means of Monte Carlo method is composed. A Matlab object-oriented program implementation is developed. As a result, number of aircraft and munitions are obtained. In the transition to a circular economy, there is a need of reverse delivery of faulty spare parts for remanufacturing. We have developed the concept of the Decision Support System to predict, to plan and to organize the delivery of new spare parts and the return delivery of faulty spare parts. The algorithm is proposed to organize the delivery of faulty spare parts from large warehouses to the manufacturer by vehicles' return trips, which helps to minimize empty runs. Agent-based simulation model to forecast the spare parts demand is created. The automobile corporation PC "KAMAZ" has been selected as the unit for analysis because it has a wide network of dealers and warehouses both inside the country and abroad. The priority of the manufacturers and production companies is to improve product quality and reduce the cost of manufacturing. The resulting quality is often strongly influenced by the heat treatment of the product. The creation and implementation of mathematical and simulation models is an effective tool for studying of the thermal processes. We can use the simulation models at the construction of new but also in the reconstruction of existing thermal aggregates. In addition, from simulation studies, we can choose a variant that meets a defined optimality criterion. The article describes a simulating model for modeling of the heating process in a bell furnace. The batch heating process precedes the mechanical processing of the metal and constitutes an essential part of the so- heat treatment of the metal. The inner temperature of the massive batch and the quality of the heating process often determine the efficiency of the process and the quality of the final product. The modeling of the heating process and its visualization are important tools at loading the technology into practice. The task of the simulation model described in this article is to calculate the inner and surface temperatures of the annealed steel coil. The input into the simulation model is the temperature measured directly on the lower surface of the coil and the temperature of the atmosphere measured between the annealed coil and the protective cover obtained from the real measurement. To describe the heat transfer process, the Fourier heat conduction equation is used. The solution of this equation is based on the finite difference method in the two-dimensional coordinate system under marginal conditions I and III. kind. The aim of this work is to build a mathematical model of the dynamics and mutual influence of the population and environmental factors - pollution of the atmosphere and surface water bodies - on an urbanized territory. The paper proposes a simulation model of dynamics and interaction of external and internal directions in biosphere-compatible city activities. The external direction of city's activities is removal of resources from the Biosphere and emission of waste polluting water, air and soil into it. The internal direction is the impact on the population: environmental state, health assessment, life expectancy, human potential. The method of forecasting the ecological and demographic situation of an urbanized territory is constructed using a relatively simple, non-linear, with variable coefficients, mathematical model that reflects the interaction of several subsystems: population, pollution of the atmosphere and water bodies. The direction of solving of the problem - the measurement of condition and forecasting of the dynamics of absorption, accumulation and long-term removal of atmospheric carbon by marine ecosystems. The report presents simulation model of the Okhotsk Sea ecosystem and some of the quantitative results of experiments performed on the basis of this model in the direction indicated. The data on the Okhotsk Sea ecosystem's primary production, used in the model are not of sufficiently high accuracy yet. However model experiments have shown that the role of the Okhotsk Sea ecosystem in the absorption of carbon dioxide is comparable to the absorption capacity of the overland boreal ecosystem of corresponding area. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) plays an important role in the country economic development and growth. Food processing industry is one of the industrial SMEs that has contributed to the national economy and provides for the local needs. An increasing demand for better quality of food products means food processing entrepreneurs need to improve on the quality of product and operation in order to be competitive. Therefore, a study has been carried out on the operation of PM Agriculture and Trading Company in producing chili sauce products. A simulation model was developed using Arena software to illustrate the processes involved in producing the chili sauce. The simulation model was used to observe the bottlenecks in the production process. The observations show that there are a number of elements that need to be focused on in order to increase the production, i.e. labor utilization for each process, processing time for each process, waiting time for each process, total number of production and total number of labor. Stratified TES tank is normally used in the cogeneration plant. The stratified TES tanks are simple, low cost, and equal or superior in thermal performance. The advantage of TES tank is that it enables shifting of energy usage from off-peak demand for on-peak demand requirement. To increase energy utilization in a stratified TES tank, it is required to build a simulation model which capable to simulate the charging phenomenon in the stratified TES tank precisely. This paper is aimed to develop a novel model in addressing the aforementioned problem. The model incorporated chiller into the charging of stratified TES tank system in a closed system. The model was developed in one-dimensional type involve with heat transfer aspect. The model covers the main factors affect to degradation of temperature distribution namely conduction through the tank wall, conduction between cool and warm water, mixing effect on the initial flow of the charging as well as heat loss to surrounding. The simulation model is developed based on finite difference method utilizing buffer concept theory and solved in explicit method. Validation of the simulation model is carried out using observed data obtained from operating stratified TES tank in cogeneration plant. The temperature distribution of the model capable of representing S-curve pattern as well as simulating decreased charging temperature after reaching full condition. The coefficient of determination values between the observed data and model obtained higher than 0.88. Meaning that the model has capability in simulating the charging phenomenon in the stratified TES tank. The model is not only capable of generating temperature distribution but also can be enhanced for representing transient condition during the charging of stratified TES tank. This successful model can be addressed for solving the limitation temperature occurs in charging of the stratified TES tank with the absorption chiller. the rapidly increasing share of wind power in the electrical power system is both concerning and challenging for the system operators. This leads to stringent requirements for the connection and operation of Wind Power Plants (WPPs) and respectively Wind Turbines (WTs). Taking these and other challenges into account, the Siemens Wind Power (SWP) 3.X MW variable-speed direct-drive WT series or D3 platform (SWT-3.0 MW, SWT-3.2 MW and SWT-3.4 MW) employ direct-drive technology that reduces the components' wear and tear; thus improving performance, reliability and maintainability. Furthermore, for the very purpose of grid assessment and system studies, SWP has developed and provides dynamic electrical simulation models for the D3 platform in various power system simulation tools, such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Siemens PTI PSS®E, PSCAD, EMTP-RV and PSS®NETOMAC. The dynamic simulation models are validated against fault-ride through tests and other specific purpose measurements in order to ensure accurate model performance. This paper presents measurements and model validations of SWT-3.2 MW WT. Measurement results are scalable and the results and performance can be easily extended to other Wind Turbines of the D3 platform including SWT-3.0 MW and SWT-3.4 MW as they all share a common converter hardware and software core. The optimizing model of the Váh Cascade (The hydro-model) represents a programmatic model into the complex IT environment supporting the pre-operating process of the hydropower plants in Slovakia's Power Supply System. College of Logistic focuses on the education of logistic engineers. Several labs are used for practical training of students. One of them is the RFID lab, where students can work with logistic models focused on information systems. This paper focuses on the utilization of information stored in the information system. Data are gathered from train model that presents the transport part of logistics chain. Reed contacts and RFID readers with preprocessing infrastructure are used for data acquisition. Data gathering tasks perform common EPCIS functions and students can configure them. These tasks present real solutions used in industry to students. Data stored in relation database can be post processed in a different manner. One of them is visualization of recent activities in train model. Logistic transport units can be configured by students too. Additional data and meta-information can be added to any tracked object and display them in the visualization environment. Simulation model of data flow and processing is discussed in the paper too. The model allows simulating any behaviors and activities of particular parts of the selected logistics chain. This paper shows the expected impact of the implementation of a Port Community System (PCS) Platform, in the time of different foreign trade operations, such as document preparation, port and terminal handling, customs clearance and inspection and inland transport and handling, in an emerging economy such as the Colombian, more specifically in the Atlántico Department. We develop two different discrete event simulation models, one of the current situation (AS-IS) without the Platform, and the other considering a business process enhanced with the PCS Platform (TO-BE), to illustrate the reduction in time of foreign trades activities such as imports. The basis of such time reduction lies in the improved rate of service of a number of bottlenecks provided by the automation granted via the PCS. The paper considers as well an analysis of 3 different prospective scenarios, based on the expected situation but with the possibility of increasing the number of imports in the region. The major conclusion is that an implementation of a PCS platform will reduce the time of the foreign trade activities (in these case Imports) in the amount of 35%. At the same time, Imports can be increased in 10% without changing the operation process, only by allowing communication and visibility through the whole supply chain using one single- window platform. The paper presents a new and a modern method for studying the electrical RLC circuits which are connected to an AC power source, using the MATLAB-SIMULINK software package. The capacitive circuits which are switched on an AC power source at the initial moment are presented in the paper. We can determine the capacitor current variation forms, the capacitor voltage in transient regime by using this virtual medium, in two different regimes: the oscillating regime and the a-periodic regime. Each presented case contains an analytical presentation of the phenomenon, but it also contains the diagrams of current and voltage capacitors. The paper is focused on a creation and evaluation of the investment project of pelletisation line purchase with a risk taken into consideration via a simulation model. The decision making subject was offered a choice of two pelletisation lines differentiating in technical parameters and purchase costs. The fundament of this work was a creation of a multi period balance model and formation of ten variants of the individual projects which differ in production volume and mean of financing. The main evaluation criterion of the deterministic calculations was a net present value which takes into consideration the time factor and belongs among the dynamic methods. By means of sensitivity and simulation analysis is possible to identify an appropriate investment strategy under the risk conditions. The risk factors, which were identified by sensitivity analysis, are defined as random variables with certain probability distribution. Critical values of target criterion give information value which we can expect with willingness to tolerate given risk quantification. The comparison of distribution functions of investment alternatives allows the identification of the optimal strategy. On the basis of the gained results we came to the conclusion that the purchase of the pelletisation line is a profitable investment which can increase the value of the company itself. The occurrence of dynamic phenomena in the form of shock (subsidence) is a consequence of mining exploitation and poses a threat to the safety of miners working as well as machines in the mine. The result of the mining activity is a violation of the balance of the rock mass, which leads to the release of energy accumulated in it. This paper focuses on the modeling and simulation in Matlab/Simulink of the effects of wind shear and tower shadow in a three bladed, variable-speed wind turbine system. The study of the mechanical stress, the mitigation of the torque oscillations and the improvement of the aerodynamic efficiency below rated wind speed, can be attained with a proper modeling of the turbine system. One of the industrial commodities made from agricultural raw materials that has the ability to compete is soybeans. The fluctuation of soybean commodity prices is a crucial issue in Indonesia every year. The current problem is that the demand for soybeans continues to increase, but it cannot be matched by domestic production, local soybean production is still low and cannot meet demand. To fulfill it, imports were carried out which continued to increase every year. The dependence of soybeans on imported products has consequences on local soybean prices that are not able to compete, resulting in price instability. Central Java is one of the provinces that produces the second largest soybean in Indonesia after East Java. The problems involved in the logistics of the Central Java soybean supply chain appear to be interrelated, namely the price of imported soybeans is still low, the flow of imports is still high, so the price of soybean farmers is still priced cheaply, so farmers are not enthusiastic about planting soybeans. Due to the low planting interest of farmers, the soybean production capacity will also decrease, the local soybean supply will decrease so that it is increasingly dependent on imports, import volumes will increase, local prices are increasingly unable to compete, farmer welfare decreases (demotivation), supply is increasingly reduced and the volatility of prices was getting out of control. This study will develop a dynamic system model for the fulfillment of soybean logistics which aims to maintain soybean price stability. Researchers focus on examining the relationship between variables in the fulfillment of soybean logistics in Central Java, namely regarding the need for food (demand), the total availability of soybeans (supply) and the price of soybeans (distribution) using a dynamic system framework. This research is also expected to identify the determining factors in increasing the competitiveness of local soybeans to meet the needs and desires of consumers in the soy-based industry through policy simulations in an effort to increase the competitiveness of local soybeans on the national market and stabilize soybean commodity prices that can benefit two parties, namely producers and consumers. This study adds and considers post-harvest factors, competitor commodity price factors and output in the form of a decision support system (DSS) application using Powersim Studio 10 software to support government and stakeholder decision making. The results of the model scenario can be used as supporting material for government decisions and stakeholders in strategy development and can use the results of these simulations to make strategic decisions. Assessments of irrigation water distribution networks can be approached with two different ways. First approach represents demand-driven analysis, where on the first place lies nodal demand regardless from actual pressure. The other way represents pressure driven analysis which recognizes the relation between nodal heads and nodal flows. This approach is also applicable in scenarios, where the demand is fully dependent on pressure like irrigation sprinkler system. Almost all the traditional network hydraulic models are built upon demand-driven approach. Therefore, it is very desirable that reliability analysis techniques based on interpretations or transformations of demand-driven results from a pressure driven perspective be evaluated. Both of these two approaches were applied on older irrigation network in southern part of Slovakia. Various demand condition were created by an algorithm in the meaning of demand nodes placement. Simulation models are an obligatory part of many hardware (HW) components in the field of renewable energies. The functionality of a HW component must correspond closely to the functionality of the related simulation model. The behavior of many HW components is dominated by their embedded software (SW), known as firmware. A SW development process that is related to the firmware for the HW component and to a firmware dynamic link library (dll) as part of the simulation model minimizes the parallel SW development for the HW component and for the simulation model. Possible discrepancies in the behavior of the simulation model and the corresponding HW component are kept to a minimum. The simulation model and the HW component can easily be upgraded to the same firmware release by flashing the HW with a new firmware and exchanging the firmware dll in the simulation model. A revalidation of the simulation model after a firmware upgrade, if needed at all, is minor. The customer can parameterize, monitor, control, and debug the simulation model with the tools already being used with the HW component. The simulation model also serves as an additional test instance for firmware tests, thus enabling tests that would be hard or even impossible to perform with the HW component. The SW platform of the simulation model delivered to the customer is decoupled from its local development platform. This paper is aimed at proposing a current based vector control model of the brushless doubly fed induction generator, modelling the presented control method, as well as implementing the proposed algorithm by DSP. In order to achieve the purpose, by presenting a detailed coupled circuit model of BDFIG, the vector model and then the current based vector control algorithm of the mentioned machine are acquired. The way of independent control of torque and power, and also the structure of speed controller amongst the proposed control model are discussed. Additionally, the concepts behind the proposed structure of the speed control system and the way of determining the model parameters are explained. Then the general model is simulated in Matlab/Simulink environment. In continue, in order to get the simulation results in the real drive system, an efficient BDFIG's driver with the purpose of attaining the acquired results of simulation is built. The implementation process, including the design and selection of the driver components, and the implementation of the algorithm on DSP is presented with details. The evaluation of implementation results reveals that the designed controller, based on the proposed algorithm, meets drive requirements sufficiently with an appropriate dynamic performance and a stable operation in the duration of working in generator mode. Based on the wave equation of longitudinal vibration, the simulation model of cyclic stress properties for sucker rod is proposed. The regression model for stress concentration factor of rods with defects is established by the finite element method. According to the influence of transition section on fatigue limit and service life on the degree of damage, combining the randomness of material mechanical properties, defect size and cyclic stress, the reliability prediction model for fatigue life is put forward. The corresponding reliability simulation software is developed. The software not only analyses the effect of actual stress using factor (SUF) and service life on rod string's fatigue life and reliability, but also analyses the weak link of rod string's reliability. Meanwhile, several simulation results are shown as follows: Transition section is the weak link of the whole rod string; Service life and the actual stress level have significant influence on fatigue life and reliability; For multistage rod string designed according to equal-strength theory, different stage rod string has different reliability, and the reliability of the rod string's bottom-part is lower than its top-part. In such mobile applications and services, the travel recommendation system is one of popular LBSs for mobile users. In which, one of popular research issues is mining of the travel trajectory patterns from mobile travel trajectory databases. Mining travel knowledge from travel trajectory data benefits for supporting of an intelligent travel recommendation system. However, it is not easy to obtain the real travel trajectory data for mobile users since the problem of personal privacy. To develop a travel trajectory data generator is very useful for the research communities on mobile travel behavior mining. In this paper, we present a simulation framework to generate mobile travel trajectory data based on the statistics and observations of real travel information. The winding hot-spot temperature is an important parameter that determines the transformer overloading capability and the aging rate of the oil paper insulation. In this paper, three simulation models based on modified IEEE model, Swift model, and Susa model are established in Matlab/Simulink. The top-oil temperature and hot-spot temperature in the models are calculated using Runge-Kutta method. This paper deals with simulation model of the LLC resonant converter with frequency of 300kHz. The results of the simulation analysis are compared with results obtained from measurement on the real physical sample of proposed converter. The simulation model consists of three fundamental parts: rectangle impulses generator, resonant circuit with high-frequency transformer and the output rectifier. Coupling between the primary and secondary side is simulated using nonlinear model of magnetic core, which is done with use of Jiles-Atherton model. This model implements all of the important properties of real, nonlinear magnetic cores: first magnetizing curve, magnetizing saturation, coercitive field strength and the hysteresis loss. In this paper a method for simulating an axial-flux induction machine with squirrel cage is presented. The Simulation is based on the multiple coupled circuit theory wherein the needed inductances are calculated with the winding function theory. This simulation model is the basis for fault simulations like short circuits. First, the principle arrangement and the machine data are shown. After a short introduction to the winding function and multiple circuit theory the calculation of the self- and mutual- inductances based on its Fourier series is explained. Moreover the difference between using a rectangular and a trapezoidal characteristic of the winding function is described. Especially for this type of machine the needed assumptions and simplifications are presented as well. In a next step the simulation model implemented in Matlab/Simulink is presented. Clinical Engineering (CE) department activities include acquisition, maintenance of medical instrumentation, health technology assessment, medical informatics, and risk management. In this work the authors focus on maintenance activities in developing countries where there is a lack of acquisition planning, assessment, budgeting planning, and critical equipment breakdown. In the past decade there has been an explosion in the use of system dynamics modeling in healthcare. In this paper a system dynamics based model for medical equipment maintenance is designed; it incorporates 8 key variables that influence the progress of medical equipment maintenance. This model shows the effect of changing a key variable on the others. This model is intended to maximize the quality and to minimize the cost and time of medical equipment maintenance. This is developed in a causal loop diagram, which is a cause and effect diagram. iThink software has been used in the development of this model, together with vensim in the development of the causal loop diagram. The results show that the critical variables for maintenance are the defect rate, breakdown rate, and maintenance cost. In conclusion the medical equipment maintenance cost determines the decision for acquiring new equipment. In order to reveal the Liaohe River estuary wetland ecological environment changes and its influencing factors, given the wetland's complex system with multivariable, high-order, multi-loop and non-linear characteristics, using system dynamics to establish the Liaohe River estuary wetland environmental change simulation model. The results show that: In terms of the current state of development, the wetland's ecological environment will be gradually deteriorated. In view of this, we designed adjustment programs for the model simulation and prediction of individual programs to provide management support and theoretical basis of the estuary wetland health and ecological function restoration. Software evolution is recognized as one of the most challenging areas in the field of Software Engineering. The observation of evolution is time-dependent, reducing opportunities for actual observations in short periods of time. Usually, maintenance cycles are proportional to the software life cycle. Therefore, the amount of research has not been enough to deal with all the issues related to the evolution of software. However, simulation through confident models represents an interesting strategy to support software decay observation in short period of time. Towards that, this paper describes a model aimed at supporting the software decay simulation through systems dynamics. The Laws of Software Evolution and ISO 9126 were used as initial knowledge to support the discovery of software characteristic (size, periodicity, complexity, effort, reliability, and maintainability) relationships. Next, evidence to strengthen the existence of such relationships was acquired through quasi-systematic literature reviews. In sequence, the model was applied to support the simulation of industrial software decay. The braking dynamics model of quarter vehicle ABS is established. In order to consummate simulation content of vehicle Anti-lock Brake System on all road surfaces, this research analyses various road surfaces on the brake working conditions in allusion to the adhesion coefficient of road surface. The PID control algorithm of vehicle braking with slip rate as the control object is presented on complex surface based on PID control theory. Simulation model of quarter vehicle, complex surface model, PID control strategy model and simulation model of complex surface are established by the MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation tests of complex surface are designed to obtain curve change of vehicle speed and wheel velocity on different adhesion coefficient surface with single wheel vehicle. The graph proves that the PID control reduces concussion error of slip rate at 9.45%–22.55%. Curtailment rate of braking distance is 6.30%. Curtailment rate of braking time is 9.69%. Curtailment rate of saltation wheel velocity is 12.76%. Curtailment rate of saltation slip rate is 6.77%. Slip rate is changing in the best predetemine range. Air power brake system (APBS) on a vehicle was put forwarded in this paper to resolve that the braking distance couldn't be effective curtailed because of the maximum ground braking force during vehicle braking. We analyzed its working principle, added Fa and researched on the basic simulation of control model. The academic feasibility of initiative air power brake system was expatiated, that was based on the principle of compressed air power reaction which was applied to the brake system, then established dynamics model of a new automotive brake system and simulation model of ABS&APBS based on MATLAB/Simulink. The simulated tests were designed to compare with the curve of vehicle speed and wheel velocity with APBS. The graph prove that APBS reduce braking distances at 6%–14% and braking time at 14%–32%. A simulation model for risk management process can facilitate practitioners in risk management in many aspects, such as understanding of risk management process, predicting risk management outcome, and making informed risk management decision.
