The article is devoted to the implementation of the coupling algorithm of 0D-3D blood flow model in newborns with a modified Blalock-Taussig shunt. 0D model describes overall blood flow in the body using a system of differential and algebraic equations, the section of aorta and pulmonary artery with the shunt is replaced by a 3D model with a two-way fluid-structure interaction. The coupling algorithm is based on transmission process of the parameters at the boundaries between models. Also, some approaches are proposed for solving the problem of parameters identification, which made it possible to move from general parameters to patient-oriented. We analyzed the solution sensitivity of simplified 3-element 0D Windkessel model and used the optimization problem to find individual parameters. Periodic and non-periodic solutions are obtained under various conditions. Further studies include accounting for blood oxygen saturation in the model and solving the problem of choosing and substantiating a criterion related to blood flow, ensuring normal growth and development of the lung.
