Rhuda Walker is represented by 14 species, two of them described as new: robusta Becker new species from Ecuador and moreira Becker new species from Brazil. In addition, decepta Schaus revised status is reinstated, and geometrica Schaus new synonym (= basifera Walker) is synonymized. This entry offers information on the new genus and species Cymapamphantus valentineorum from the geocorid subfamily of Pamphantinae (heteroptera: lygaeoidea: geocoridae) discovered in the British Virgin Islands. Specimen illustrations, description, and diagnosis are presented along with a checklist of the species. Methods used in the examination are also included.

The article reviews small carpenter bees of the genus Ceratina, subgenus Ceratinidia of Thailand. Containing Oriental species, subgenus Ceratinidia consists of small to medium-sized nonmetallic black bees with yellow maculations which are solitary and stem nesting. It is stated that its range covers mostly Asia including Afghanistan to Japan and Russia's Primorskyi region to Indonesia. It is shown that males have a tuft of long hairs divided into two parts, on the apex of gonostylus.

Online social networks have become an essential tool for communications these days. With popularity come security problems, especially with information privacy. One way to solve this problem is to use cryptography. However, cryptography on online social networks has not been studied exclusively. Most works have been done on access control. The main issue with cryptography is the number of keys needed to encrypt and decrypt the information. The most obvious number of keys would be to use one key for every user in our group of friends. This is not entirely true as we show here. This paper, therefore, gives an attempt to show that the number of keys needed to achieve secure sharing among friends can in fact be fewer than the number of friends. A new encryption algorithm which combined the process of video compression with encryption based on hyper-chaos system was put forward in the paper for safety and real-time transmission of video stream. Chaotic sequences of hyper-chaotic map were used to encrypt DC, AC and motion vector coefficients during the compressing of all frames. The experimental result shows that there is no rule among the cipher-texts; they are completely different from the original frames. Recent work with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory has allowed for external access to five of JPL's real-world requirements models, anonymized to conceal proprietary information, but retaining their computational nature. Experimentation with these models, reported herein, demonstrates a dramatic speedup in the computations performed on them. These models have a well defined goal: select mitigations that retire risks which, in turn, increases the number of attainable requirements. Such a non-linear optimization is a well-studied problem. However identification of not only (a)~the optimal solution(s) but also (b)~the key factors leading to them is less well studied. Our technique, called KEYS, shows a rapid way of simultaneously identifying the solutions and their key factors. KEYS improves on prior work by several orders of magnitude. Prior experiments with simulated annealing or treatment learning took tens of minutes to hours to terminate. KEYS runs much faster than that; e.g for one model, KEYS ran 13,000 times faster than treatment learning (40 minutes versus 0.18 seconds). Processing these JPL models is a non-linear optimization problem: the fewest mitigations must be selected while achieving the most requirements. Non-linear optimization is a well studied problem.
