The metaverse describes persistent and interconnected 3D multi-user environments that are characterized by the fusion of physical and virtual worlds. Fueled by the rebranding of Meta, the metaverse is experiencing a resurgence and has attracted the attention of practitioners and scholars, resulting in a new wave of publications. While cutting-edge technologies offer unprecedented immersive experiences, users face new privacy situations as metaverse technologies require extensive data collection. Additionally, the spatial nature of the metaverse allows for the observation of digital footprints. This changing context of data disclosure necessitates a re-evaluation of privacy. Building on the Multidimensional Development Theory as an overarching framework, I conducted 35 expert interviews, resulting in 16 emerging privacy challenges and corresponding privacy protection measures. With these findings, this paper contributes to research on today's metaverse by empirically investigating privacy as a crucial aspect and providing practical recommendations for organizations to mitigate negative user reactions. The paper presents the purpose, relevance, practical significance of an expert assessment of the use of innovations in an industrial enterprise. A list of stages of expert assessment of innovations is presented. The method for analyzing hierarchies is presented in detail, which is used in this work for expert assessment of innovative valves. A list of criteria for evaluating valves is presented, and based on the use of the hierarchy analysis method, the calculation of expert assessments in relation to innovative valves is presented. English-as-a-second language (L2) graduate students often face challenges in developing academic writing skills, which can be exacerbated by a lack of timely support at institutional level. To help address this concern, an original set of online academic writing tutorials with a focus on the genre of Literature Review was designed by the authors to assist international graduate students enrolled in graduate programs in Canada. This paper introduces and compares multiple assessment tools employed in the online tutorial set for international English L2 graduate students. Our project pursues two major goals: First, to address the above-identified gap in Academic Writing support to English L2 graduate students with minimal costs and faculty involvement through designing the online tutorial set; second, to contribute to the research on e-learning of Academic English as a second language (ESL) writing in terms of developing integrated tools for online tutorial building, analysis of texts produced by learners, and assessment of learners' writing progress. The research questions are: 1. What resources can be combined to develop an online tutorial set for graduate students at minimal costs? 2. How can the learners' progress in academic ESL writing be assessed with different assessment tools? First, the paper describes the tools employed in the tutorial construction: MoodleCloud platform, H5P interactive e-book designed by the authors, surveys, and assessment tools. Second, we present and compare assessment tools employed to evaluate learners' writing progress: Expert assessment with an analytic rubric, self-assessments of progress by the participants, and automated text analysis with corpus-based tools as reported in Li, Makarova, and Wang (2023). A comparison of the scores across the three assessment tools shows some discrepancies, which seems to suggest that combined tools yield a more comprehensive picture. The expert assessments and self-assessments demonstrate improvement in the writing quality over the course of the tutorial series, which are partially supported with the findings from corpus-based analysis of participants' texts. The findings are of relevance to e-learning scholars, faculty, and administrators of English-medium universities with substantial intakes of international graduate students in Social Sciences and Education whose native languages are other than English. Slow learners are one type of special needs student who attends regular schools. Slow learner students have lower cognitive abilities than regular students, resulting in a slower level of understanding. As a result, slow learners require concrete examples during the learning process. Recognizing numbers is one of the difficulties that slow learners face in elementary school. As a result, elementary school teachers must use more concrete learning media when teaching slow learner students to recognize and write numbers. The purpose of this study is to develop a thematic trace book as a learning medium to help slow learners recognize and write numbers. The trace book was created with rough-textured letters and numbers to provide a sensory-motor stimulus for slow learners. This is a development study using a 4D development model (define, design, development, & disseminate). The trace book material developed is limited to numbers 1-10. The themes for the trace book were chosen to correspond with the elementary school curriculum. The instruments used to assess the developed books are expert assessment sheets, student, and teacher response questionnaires. The findings revealed that the book was deemed valid by experts and useful by students and teachers. The findings of this development study show that the experts' evaluation of the trace book meets very high standards. On the criteria, the average score of teacher and student responses is excellent. This study aims to 1) Produce quality learning media development products based on interactive animation Macromedia flash for problem-solving abilities 2) To determine the effectiveness of learning media based on interactive animation Macromedia flash for problem-solving abilities. This research type of a research and development that refers to the development model of Borg and Gall. This research was conducted at SD N Godean 2 Yogyakarta in May 2019 with 25 subjects grade V. The data collection instruments used expert assessment sheets, media expert assessment sheets, student response questionnaires, and learning achievement tests. The results of the study 1) The quality of the product in the development of interactive animation learning media Macromedia flash that the product has "good" quality based on the results of media experts, material experts, and student response questionnaires, seen from the results of the material expert's assessment more than 80 % is in the "Very Good" category, the results of the media expert's assessment with a score of 45 or 86.5% and in the "Good" category, as well as a student response questionnaire almost 90% in the "Very Good" category 2) Effectiveness Interactive animation media using Macromedia flash software to facilitate problem-solving abilities is also categorized as good, seen from the pretest results it can be said to have good criterion validity.
