The purpose of this paper is to identify, analyze and develop a structural model for the identified factors that can influence the electricity distribution using Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) approach. From this study, the results specify that the key factors are demand fluctuations, personal protection, uninterrupted distribution, location, construction activities, consumption charges perspective, electrical subsidiary industries. The ISM framework has been developed in this paper, which is a first attempt to analyse the interrelationship among the electricity distribution impacting factors. This study will be useful for practitioners and power distribution companies (DISCOM) to understand the factors influencing electricity distribution. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
