Inventory management is an important process in which companies plan, organize and control the goods produced, based on techniques and tools such as demand analysis and production planning and control. This article presents a bibliometric analysis based on inventory management. The proposed methodology is based on the information obtained from Scopus databases, raises and provides answers to six (6) questions, through a descriptive, thematic, collaborative and interrelated analysis, using computer supports such as VosViewers and Bibliometrix - Biblioshiny. The findings identified a positive trend in the volume of annual publications, highlighting the interest of the scientific and academic community in this area of knowledge. The results also allowed the identification of relevant topics grouped by cluster and the future research perspective, oriented to the solution of problems framed in modeling, stochastic process analysis, application of metaheristical algorithms and product design. Aluminum dross has a low aluminum metal content, so it may be served in making concrete. The addition of aluminum dross is expected to improve the concrete passive layer, contributing to corrosion control. This research investigates corrosion behavior of reinforced bar embedded in concrete with aluminum-added in the immerse condition by seawater. The impact of chloride ion exposure on the reinforced bar will be characterized by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and potentiodynamic polarization. The microstructure evolution due to time exposure and chloride ion content could be explored by scanning electron microscope. Corrosion resistance on the reinforced bar tends to increase with aluminum dross presence. The consequences demonstrate the significant influence of aluminum dross on the passivation area and corrosion behavior of concrete. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Modification of carbon paste electrode (CPE) coated with poly-melamine (PM) and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) was produced by electrochemical synthesis. The morphological characteristic of PM/AuNPs/CPE was characterized by field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), the effect of supporting electrolyte and scan rate were assessed by cyclic voltammetry (CV) to get suitable conditions for hydroquinone (HQ) analysis, and the linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) was used to determine HQ into the optimum condition. The result shows the PM/AuNPs/CPE has been successfully determined the responses of HQ in a presence of Arbutin as interference. The modified electrode also enhances the electrocatalytic activities toward the oxidation peak of hydroquinone (HQ) 5 fold higher than the bare CPE. These modified electrodes displayed linear concentration ranging from 0.4 to 10 µM with detection limit of 0.27 µM. In addition, the PM/AuNPs/CPE shows high selectivity, sensitivity and excellent practice for HQ analysis in the real sample with satisfying recovery. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Ballistic impact resistance of hybrid composite laminates was investigated in this research. The laminates considered for the studies are prepared by placing carbon fabric and glass fabric reinforced epoxy polymer layers at the exterior or the interior of aramid fabric laminates. Several hybrid composite laminates with different area weight and different ply scheme were prepared by autoclave method. The hybrid composite laminates were impact with flat-ended cylindrical steel projectiles shot by ballistic gun; V50 as well as Ballistic Performance Indicator were obtained accordingly. Ballistic impact test results have shown shear fracture at the front surface layers of composite laminates, delamination in the interior and tensile failure near the back surface layers. The impact damage area was also evaluated by ultrasonic non-destructive testing. The experimental results show that hybrid composite laminates with carbon or glass fiber reinforced composites as surface layer have higher energy absorption which will increase the ballistic impact resistance of aramid fabric composite. In the present work, we report the use of graphene as multi-functional nanofiller for natural rubber (NR). Dispersion of reduced graphene into natural rubber (NR) was found to enhance the mechanical and electrical properties of NR. Through a facile approach rubber molecules are successfully grafted onto the surface of graphene. Stable graphene suspension with NR afforded a weblike morphology consisting of platelet networks between the rubber particles, while internal mixer processing broke down this structure, yielding a homogeneous and improved dispersion. The resulting graphene can be dispersed in NR via dry mixing. It is found that graphene is prominent in improving the mechanical properties of NR at low filler loading. The percolation point of graphene in the nanocomposites takes place at a content of less than 0.1 wt%. With incorporation of as low as 0.1 wt% of graphene, an increase in the tensile strength and improvement in the tensile modulus achieved. The improvement in the mechanical properties of NR nanocomposites at such low filler loading is attributed to the strong interfacial interaction and the molecular-level dispersion of graphene in the NR matrix. Supply chains are include independent business. The main question of supply chain management in an independent environment is the coordination of supply chain members' operations with minimum exchange of information. In practice, supply chain operations are generally coordinated and planned hierarchically through the central control unit, which requires a high degree of information exchanges. High degree of information exchanges lead to difficulties when independent members do not want to share information. In order to address these difficulties, decentralized approaches of coordination of operations planning decisions based on some minimal information sharing have been proposed in many academic disciplines. In this paper, we develop models to determine operational and financial decisions of the supply chain under the assumption that the retailer faces budget constraint and the manufacturer offers trade credit to help him. We first assume that the retailer is risk neutral, and derive his optimal ordering and financial decisions. Then, we study the downside risk associated with the retailer and analyze the effect of the risk on the retailer and manufacturer's operational and financial decisions, and provide some numerical examples. This paper aims to find out the optimal financing decisions for SME enterprises by analyzing three solutions of financing models, where commercial bank loan and trade credit are effective financing ways for SME enterprises. The financing decisions are considered for the SME enterprise in the two-echelon supply chain environment where the SME enterprise is a retailer, and the manufacturer is a large-size core enterprise that can guarantee the loan for the retailer. A newsvendor model is built to analyze the financing decisions. The conclusions can provide references for small and medium enterprises with financial constraints, thus encouraging the core enterprise of the supply chain to share the risk of loans. This work present the synthesis of ZnO/MgO multilayer films using spin coating technique with different MgO layer thickness which are 171nm, 238nm and 506nm. The influence of MgO thickness on the insulating layer properties was investigated. The best prepared insulating layer to be used as dielectrics was found to be ZnO/MgO film deposited using 238 nm MgO layer. This is due to it uniformity, low porosity, high resistivity (28.7 × 105 Ω.cm) and low leakage current (below 1E-7). In recent years, the model of Supply Chain Finance has become an effective way to solve the financing difficulty of small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs). Supply chain finance has large market potential, which is becoming a new area of competition among banks. While research on supply chain contracts in recent years is an issue, so it is practically significant that if research on supply chain contracts and Supply Chain Finance are brought together, as well as, to explore the collaborative optimization of fund and operation in the supply chain. This paper establishes financing and operation model on the basis of revenue sharing contract. The development of efficient MQWs active regions of quaternary InAlGaN in the ultraviolet (UV) region is an engaging challenge by itself. Demonstrating lasers at such low wavelength will require resolving a number of materials, growth and device design issues. However, the quaternary AlInGaN represents a more versatile material since the bandgap and lattice constant can be independently varied. We report a quaternary AlInGaN double-quantum wells (DQWs) UV laser diode (LDs) study by using the simulation program of Integrated System Engineering-Technical Computer Aided Design (ISE TCAD). Advanced physical models of semiconductor properties were used. In this paper, the enhancement in the performance of AlInGaN laser diode can be achieved by optimizing the laser structure geometry design. The AlInGaN laser diodes operating parameters such as internal quantum efficiency ηi, internal loss αi and transparency threshold current density show effective improvements that contribute to a better performance. Recently we experimentally demonstrated how a planar molecule tends to travel as a “frisbee” when a gaseous mixture with lighter carriers expands into a vacuum, the orientation being due to collisions. The molecule is benzene, the prototype of aromatic chemistry .The demonstration is via two complementary experiments: interrogating benzene by IR-laser light and controlling its orientation by selective scattering on a rare gas target. The results cast new light on the microscopic mechanism of collisional alignment (our earlier work regarded diatomic molecules, such as O2 and N2) and suggest a useful way to produce intense beams of aligned molecules, permitting studies of steric effects in gas-phase processes. This study has been extended to other simple hydrocarbons such as ethylene, acetylene and ethane, indicating that collisional alignment is effective also in these cases. Applications are in progress for molecule — surface scattering, opening expectations for nanocatalysis. Combining collisional studies of supersonic seeded beams of aligned molecules with results from scattering of rotationally hot molecular beams allows development of systematic characterization of intermolecular forces, particularly regarding molecular anisotropies and their roles is cluster formation: investigated systems include atmospheric gases, hydrocarbons, water. This extends our previous collisional studies on interactions of open-shell atoms, aligned by a magnetic field.
