The technology of distribution automation is vital for the future of smart distribution. As for the appropriate development and implementation of distribution automation, not only it should adapt to the distribution network characteristics, but also depends on the relative technologies of smart gird, such as smart terminal units, advanced communication and energy management. In this paper, based on the actual situation of distribution automation in Guangdong grid, an advanced strategy of distribution automation development is proposed targeting nowadays unbalanced regional development and different development levels. The strategy mainly divides the distribution automation into 4 parts including master station, automation terminal, feeder automation and communication network, and standardize for each part respectively. Through the permutation and combination, the appropriate development pattern for delaminating and districting operation could be retrieved, theoretically provides proofs for the reasonable development planning in the future distribution automation. This letter considers the mean-square exponential remote synchronization problem for a class of dynamic networks with time-varying delayed couplings. The dynamic of each node in the considered networks is described by a neutral-type system. The remote master system and the dynamic networks transmit signals mutually through the common communication channels, which include network-induced delays, frame losses, and random fluctuations. Considering the conditions of the communication networks, a state error system is formulated. By using Lyapunov functional method and some properties of Kronecker product, some synchronization criteria are derived to ensure the mean-square global exponential synchronization of state trajectories for the remote master system and the coupled dynamic networks. The controller gain matrices could be obtained by solving a minimization problem through a cone complementary technique. In this letter, the design problem of global asymptotical synchronization through adaptive control for a class of complex networks with time-varying delayed couplings is concerned with. In the complex networks under consideration, the dynamic of each node is expressed by a neutral-type system with time-varying delays. By using the LaSalle invariance principle and some properties of Kronecker product, a sufficient condition that globally asymptotically stabilizes the error system through adaptive control is derived, which ensures the dynamics of whole networks synchronize with the desirable synchronization manifold. In the proposed criterion, the matrices denoting the topological structure of the complex networks are not need to be symmetric. And the adaptive feedback strength is updated based on both the current and the delayed state errors of the networks.
