The study highlights the thermal behavior of the semiconducting LDPE films synthesized by SbCl
5 doping. The structural peculiarities and the responses of the structure to energetic modifications are studied. TGA and DTG curves are used to determine the thermal stability of the material. Degradation kinetics is elucidated. Activation energy and the entropy of activation for the degradation of the samples are calculated using Coats-Redfern plots and the samples show appreciable thermal stability.
