Large globe population consumes tobacco products on daily basis which cause serious concerns for human life as it causes oral cancer and other types of cancer. Chewing tobacco (Pan, Pan Masala) is mostly consumed by elders after parties, social gathering as mouth freshener. Five samples of chewing tobacco were prepared for detecting elemental composition and concentration of tobacco products. WDXRF technique is applied on five different branded chewing tobacco products to determine the major oxides present in tobacco products. We got ten different major oxides in our study which confirms the presence of these oxides. General awareness is required for tobacco users to avoid health risk. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
