This study examined the association between precipitation indices and atmospheric processes in Southeast Europe using ERA5 land data from 1961 to 2020. The Rx1day intensity index showed predominantly positive trends in heavy precipitation events, resulting in more intense precipitation over fewer days in various parts of Southeast Europe, particularly during autumn. These findings highlight the potential increase in extreme precipitation frequency and intensity due to ongoing climate change, leading to an elevated risk of flood events. In Europe, the digital single market is seen as the ground for the future progress of countries. Having in mind the advantages of digital trade and business which are being pursued in other parts of the world, the digital single market is imposed as a global goal. As a consequence of digital transformations, due to different degrees of information and communication technologies acceptance and implementation, differences between countries, regions, or individuals occur. Reducing the digital divide between all categories, especially in urban and rural populations, contributes transition to a single market. In order to contribute to this goal, the European Commission regularly monitors the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI). Therefore, the aim of this paper is to examine the differences between the levels of the digital economy and society in the countries of Southeast Europe. Seven countries were selected and ranked according to key DESI indicators using the integrated AHP-TOPSIS methodology. The results show that the digital economy and society level in Southeast Europe is generally lower than the European Union average. In addition, the results show that the Republic of Serbia is the best ranked among the analyzed countries, even though it is not a member of the EU, but invests significant efforts in the development and implementation of digital technologies. In this work accent shall be put on the part of the development of the religion and politics in Southeast Europe from the past several centuries until present days. The complex long-term processes inevitably manifest moments of decline in certain parts and degrees which are most often present following the points which are defined as culmination of the development process in this certain region. The analysis of the religion and politics in Southeast Europe at the sole start of the insertion is a useful tool for understanding and avoiding certain negative influences. Many scholars believed that religion will eventually lose importance and because of that societies will face a decline of religious beliefs. However, by the end of the 20th century many changed their views and acknowledged that secularization theory does not work and that religion is as important as always. Recently, scholars have also advocated that religion emerges in times of crisis such as, for example, the Arab Spring, the breakup of former Yugoslavia, the current economic crisis that is shaking the world etc. It is questionable whether we can truly discuss secularization as a phenomenon or we should simply turn our attention to the notion of religion in all of its aspects and try to increase understanding of this complex phenomenon. But, if democracy is understood as the method of electing and changing government and that a country can be called democratic, the possibility of the co-existence of Islam and democracy remains an open issue. Taking into consideration all of that, in this paper I will try to skretch some aspects of the functioning of the Multi-ethnic and Multi-religious States in XXI Century in correlation with the question of the interrelationship between democracy and Islam in Southeast Europe. Globalization generally affects on development of the international organized crime in all state and social systems, regardless of whether they are countries of the developed Western democracies or countries of the "third world". Therefore, it is unnecessary to stress out the need for international police cooperation in protection of the security of citizens, the internal security of States and international security of the worlds regions. International police cooperation between the countries of Southeast Europe has a central place in the paper, referring to the fight against organized crime, terrorism and other most severe forms of crime. In this context, the paper analyses concrete types and forms of police cooperation expressed through initiatives, agreements and other documents, with special emphasis on the Convention on Police Cooperation in SEE. The second part of the paper authors analysing the place, role and tasks of the MOI RS in International police cooperation. In the conclusion is indicated the importance of cooperation and good neighbourhood relations in the region of former Yugoslavia and South Eastern Europe. especially in the sensitive areas of internal affairs, security and justice within the current process of European integration. In this paper we provide a clearer insight into the level of entrepreneurial activity in Southeast European countries, taking into account many different characteristics and aspects of entrepreneurial activity and entrepreneurs, by using indicators included in Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) research and also in the multidimensional Global Entrepreneurship and Development Index (GEDI). We also describe and compare strengths and weaknesses of countries in the Southeast European region by using GEDI, regarding the three dimensions of entrepreneurship: attitudes, activity and aspirations. In the paper we use Porter's typology of economies: factor-driven, efficiency-driven and innovation driven economies. In the first two stages of development, institutions and large firms dominate the economy and are drivers of economic growth. Movement from efficiency-driven economies (the Southeast European countries analyzed in this paper that are in this group are Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Romania and Serbia) to innovation-driven economies (Greece and Slovenia) is characterized by entrepreneurship playing a very important role. Entrepreneurship is of course present in all stages and the process of entrepreneurship development is long lasting. The analysis of eight Southeast European countries together with an analysis of average values of other countries included in GEDI, display some important policy implications. The majority of the European countries analyzed are in the efficiency-driven stage. To progress from an efficiency-driven to an innovation-driven economy, these countries should improve different components of entrepreneurial activity as well as entrepreneurial aspiration dimensions. This research which deals with analysis of macro-economic index in international economy, or analysis of influences of personal liberties, innovations and education on economical development, is divided in three parts. In first part, a brief theoretical view on importance of pesonal freedom, innovations and educational system for society development and surely the importance of institutions in charge of incitements, organization and protection of afore mentioned, is given. In second part of the paper methodology and explained data which were used for research and analysis worldwide are shown. Gathered data relate on a model of countries of southeast europe and their statistical data on personal liberties, innovations and education for the year observed, i .e. 2008. Personal liberties is represented, for the purposes of research, by Prosperity Personal Freedom Index, innovations are represented by Prosperity Innovation Index, education by a Prosperity Education Index while the world's economical development is represented by Prosperity Economic Fundamentals Index. These are official statistical data of London's Legatum Institute organization for countries of southeast europe openly published in 2009. In the third part of the paper, an analysis and interpretation of results of conducted researches are given, which show the influence of personal freedom, innovations and equation on economical development southeast europe. The goal of research was to test the hypothesis that encouragement and development of personal freedom, innovations and education had a positive and significant result on economical development countries of southeast europe and that the countries of southeast europe with more developed personal freedom, larger number of innovators and innovations and with a better educational system were, on average, significantly more developed in economical sense and that they had faster and higher rates of economic growth. The article describes a moderately critical, social-constructivist perspective on Slovenia's journalistic practice. There there are at least two significant factors that distinguish Slovenia from other former Yugoslavian republics and Central and Eastern European states emerging from Soviet domination. Slovenia retained a much more ethnically homogeneous population than the other republics and maintained the Slovene language related to, but distinct from, the Serbo- Croatian spoken by the majority of Yugoslavians. One might question why there has not been more development of independent press. There have been multiple attempts to start new newspapers in Slovenia since 1991, but most publications were unable to survive, even with federal subsidy. The government has been involved in previous attempts at ensuring pluralism of the print media, but the efforts proved futile.
