The biggest issue we face in our everyday lives is excessive electricity use. An organized mechanism to track electricity loss is needed. The Internet of Things solves these issues by connecting hardware, software, and the cloud. As a result, we propose an electricity monitoring system to keep an eye on household appliances. It will track and compute how much energy is being used by home appliances. It will notify the user of their power use via an android application. The user may view the power utilized, which aids in the projection of the monthly bill. The implementation of smart power monitoring systems in each home has a considerable potential for energy savings. This system links information between the consumer end and the EB meter using cutting-edge wireless technologies like the ESP32 module, Android mobile apps, and the Internet of Things (IoT). The primary panel has a digital meter that is connected to a communication gateway and other elements including current, voltage, and power factors. Real-time apps are used to measure power use. Harnessing the effective way of renewable energy is an inevitable necessity of the society for developing the pollution less environment. The exhaustion of available natural resources can be controlled by adopting the suitable mechanism to improve the maximum exploitation of Solar PV system (SPVS). The development of the infrastructure for electric vehicles and its charging station is particularly higher in recent years. The motor driven loads are associated with converters to efficiently control it. The design of DC-DC converters serves the purpose of maximum exploitation of SPVS though the availability of the generating electric power during the day time. The DC-DC boost converter for Kyocera solar KC200GT SPVS is modelled in this study. Three alternative Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) approaches are used to feed the switching pulse to the boost converter: perturb and observe technique, incremental conductance technique, and fuzzy controller. MATLAB/Simulink is used to investigate the variation in few parameters with boost converter for a specific SPVS in various MPPT approaches.
