The article focuses on the development of equations and models for a miner track system in both static and dynamics conditions. Among the main external forces acting on the miner are the traction potential, hydrodynamic force, collecting resistance, bulldozing resistance, umbilical and weight forces. Bekker equation is employed to calculate the static amounts of sinkage of front-idler and rear sprocket to arrive at the angle of inclination of the miner.
