In this study, a finite-element simulation (FEM) was developed and validated by experiments using push-off specimens of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC). The ABAQUS program is used to model (rectangular groove, circular groove, triangular groove, and dowel bars interface), in addition to control specimen. A study of the result in terms of load displacement and maximum load indicates that the interface formed by the dowels and grooves improves shear resistance. Concrete strengths and the number of dowel bars in comparison to numerical specimens are included in a parametric study. Numerical results showed that increasing the number of dowel bars (1 and 2) increased the ultimate load by 23% while increasing the number of dowel bars (3 and 4) increased the ultimate load by 14%. Furthermore, increasing the compressive strength from (120 to 200 MPa) obtained higher ultimate load by (59 and 60 %) for the specimens with rectangle grooves and circle grooves respectively.
