The pholocatalytic and photoluminescence properties of TiO
2 films, prepared by sol-gel synthesis were investigated. The X-ray spectrum shows several peaks, which corresponds to TiO2 in anatase phase. Results of TiO2 films irradiation with high-energy electrons (Ee =1.8 MeV, D=3MGy) are considered. In the case of irradiation with high- energy electrons observed distortion of the octahedra TiO6 , which is accompanied by suppression of self-trapped excitons emission and improves the TiO2 photocatalytic properties.
