In this experiment plant mediated method used to prepare Au nanoparticles using Justica wynaadensis leaf extract. The leaf extract solution chemically acts as the reducing agent for the synthesis of gold nanoparticles. The formation of Justica wynaadensis Au nanoparticles was immediately noticed, the colour of the reaction mixture changed from brown colour to dark purple colour and monitored by UV-visible spectroscopy at a wavelength between 500nm to 650nm for Au nano particles. Synthesized gold nanoparticles were subjected to characterization by using XRD, TEM, FTIR. TEM analysis of Au nanoparticles are in triangular shape with size 50nm. The Au nanoparticles showed significant result for antibacterial activity and tested against cell line A549, anti-diabetic and anti-inflammatory activity proved that synthesized Au nanoparticles is good alternatives in medicine and industrial application. Body sway measured by force platform is an excellent simple test for diagnostics of locomotory, balance, visual and neural disorders. In this study the body sway parameters have been measured on a group of healthy medical workers in the morning/evening time before/after their work day. The centre of pressure (CoP) trajectories in a series of different 2-leg stances and during a step forward off from the force platform have been recorded. It was found, in the morning the sway amplitudes were higher due to relaxed state of muscles, while after the work day the muscles were tired and the force platform test demanded more attention and body control which mostly lead to lower body sway amplitudes. The step off from the platform were executed faster in the evening, and the more elderly individuals exhibited more pronounced pathological signs in the CoP trajectory in the evening. Solar erythemal UV radiation (UVER) is highly relevant for numerous biological processes that affect plants, animals, and human health. Nevertheless, long-term UVER records are scarce. As significant declines in the column ozone concentration were observed in the past and a recovery of the stratospheric ozone layer is anticipated by the middle of the 21st century, there is a strong interest in the temporal variation of UVER time series. Therefore, we combined groundbased measurements of different meteorological variables with modeled ozone data sets to reconstruct time series of daily totals of UVER at the Meteorological Observatory Potsdam, Germany. Artificial neural networks were trained with measured UVER, sunshine duration, the day of year, measured and modeled total column ozone, as well as the minimum solar zenith angle. This allows for the reconstruction of daily totals of UVER for the period from 1901 to 1999. Additionally, analyses of the long-term variations from 1901 until 1999 of the reconstructed, new UVER data set are presented. The time series of monthly and annual totals of UVER provide a long-term meteorological basis for epidemiological investigations in human health and occupational medicine for the region of Potsdam and Berlin. A strong benefit of our ANN-approach is the fact that it can be easily adapted to different geographical locations, as successfully tested in the framework of the COSTAction 726. The article discusses a study on the benefits of an information communication technology (ICT)-based weight reduction program in the workplace for employees undergoing Health-On programs. The study examines the effectiveness of ICT-based weight reduction program (Health-On) among employees in the workplace. The study also outlines the development of a smartphone application which promotes health and wellness of employees.
