Artificial Intelligence (Al) has been hailed as the future source of corporate value in the public and commercial sectors due to its vast array of organizational benefits, such as optimizing employment procedures and consolidating firm data. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the patterns by which the Government uses AI through algorithms in the public sector. The aims of this report, which are based on organizational resource-based theory and recent work on AI in organizational environments, are as follows: Identifying the AI-specific resources capable of producing AI capabilities, developing models to capture AI capabilities in public services, analyzing public trust capability, and examining the relationship between AI capabilities, creativity, and organizational performance. Qualitative approach methods were also used with an explanatory case study strategy. The research findings demonstrated that artificial intelligence (AI) was altering the patterns by which government agencies carry out their responsibilities and roles to enhance performance, compliance, and security in public goods and service operations. Rapid advances in AI offer the potential to minimize high governance costs and enhance the quality and power of administrative data. Demonstrating that government performance is more efficient and effective, with numerous implications demonstrating that AI skills lead to more creativity and organizational effectiveness. Indonesia was chosen as the object of research by several ethnobotanical researchers because it is a country rich in natural resources of flora and fauna. The combination of various flora and fauna as well as various ethnic groups and cultures of the Indonesian people has diversity in processing existing natural resources. Pare-pare is one of the cities in South Sulawesi Province which was formerly a municipality and has grown rapidly, inhabited by people from various ethnic groups including Bugis, Makassar, Mandar, Toraja and other immigrant tribes. The method used in this research is interviews, observation and documentation with a total of 100 informants in four sub-districts in the city of Pare-pare. Obtained as many as 86 species from 40 families as ingredients of traditional medicine. The species from the Zingiberaceae family are the most widely used as ingredients in traditional medicine. The effect of Nickel (Ni) doping on Zinc Oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles to photocatalytic activity Congo Red (CR) dye has been studied using the coprecipitation method. ZnO(1-x)Ni(x) with various concentrations of x=0 wt %, 5 wt %, 6 wt % and 7 wt % was prepared by sodium hydroxide as a precursor. For the characterization of Ni-doped ZnO nanoparticles, we used FTIR (Fourier transmission infrared) spectroscopy to investigate the functional group of the nanoparticles. The absorption of the samples was recorded in the range of 500 – 4000 cm. The bandgap energy of ZnO nanoparticles decreased with increasing Ni concentration. The photocatalytic experiment reveals that the percentage of degradation of Congo-Red in which the presence of Ni-doped ZnO (Ni 6%) in the solution increased significantly by 98.76% after irradiation at 45 minutes. The increase in the diameter of the inhibition zone along with the increase in the concentration of Ni-doped ZnO nanoparticles with varying concentrations of ZnO0.95Ni0.05, ZnO0.94Ni0.06, ZnO0.93-Ni0.07 with Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria indicated the presence of significant antibacterial activity of Ni-doped ZnO nanoparticles. The Indonesian maritime industry is growing rapidly. It is in line with the vision of the Indonesian government to make Indonesia a fulcrum of the world maritime industry. This development brings advantages not only economically but also socially. Indonesia's geographic condition consists of thousands of islands, which makes maritime transportation a vital aspect to connect every island. Despite the growth of Indonesia's maritime industry, the problem of maritime accidents is still occurring. The maritime accident is an occurrence related to the navigation, operation, maneuvering, or handling of ships that causes damages and losses. In this research, the authors analyzed the collision accidents that occurred in Indonesia over ten years period (2010 – 2019). There are 18 collision accident data were collected from the NTSC data report, involving 31 ships. All the data is analyzed by using Maritime Accident Analysis and Reduction Technique (MAART). The results of the analysis are most collision accidents in Indonesia occurred during working in convenient conditions. Lack of monitoring during a watchkeeping job is the most common causal factor. Babagan is one of the villages in Lasem Regency, Rembang Regency. Babagan is also a batik tourism city that has developed into a separate location that seeks to become a Chinatown with attention to sustainability aspects. This research reveals the possibility of designating Babagan Village as a historical city site and identifying the potential of Babagan tourism village as urban heritage and planning the development of Babagan Lasem Chinatown village as urban heritage are two strategies that have been achieved. The characteristics of Chinese houses that have been worked on with Javanese characteristics, and Lasem Batik Fabrics as an industry that supports the economy and planning as urban heritage, are the two potentials identified in the first Chart. Babagan can be transformed into a historic city based on the characters of Chinese and Javanese acculturation houses and Batik Lasem. The aim of the present study is to obtain the TiO2 nanoparticles doped with different concentrations of CoCu-doped by means co-precipitation technique, and to investigate the structural and optical properties. The nanoparticles were characterized using several methods such as X-ray diffraction (X-RD) for structural properties, UV-Vis, and FTIR measurements for determining the bandgap energy and functional group. The nanoparticles were irradiated by ultra violet light with various time irradiations to study the degradation of photocatalytic activity. From X-RD results, the addition small concentration of CoCu into the TiO2 reduces the intensity of diffraction peak, and increases the bandwidth spectrum of X-RD. Also, small peak diffraction of TiCuO was observed in the X-RD spectra. The bandgap energy of TiO2 nanoparticles decreased from 3.34 eV to 2.89 eV after the nanoparticle were doped by 1 wt % of copper. Photocatalytic activity results show the highest degradation at the concentration of Cu 3 wt % reach at 91% after irradiation nanoparticles at 45 minutes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this research, the bioreduction of copper oxide has been carried out using Sargassum sp. seaweed extract. The CuSO4 solution as a precursor interacts with Sargassum sp. extract under microwave for 5 minutes. The reduction reaction of Cu2+ to Cu is caused by the presence of the -OH and C=O groups in the Sargassum sp. extract to form copper oxide (CuO). The CuO obtained is then deposited into woven fabric for 24 hours and dried. Characterization of woven fabric deposited with CuO is used X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and tested for antibacterial activity. The diffractogram of CuO-coated fabrics, the overall diffraction pattern has a higher intensity than the diffraction pattern of blank sampel. The peak at 2θ=35.26°; 40,16°; 45.38° and 52.26° obtained a higher peak. The peaks that appear indicate the presence of peaks of CuO embedded in the woven fabric. The surface morphology of the woven fabric there is a layer of CuO that are strongly bound due to cross linking between cellulose in the woven fabric and Cu+ ions. The CuO were used to increase the antibacterial properties of woven fabric caused have antimicrobial properties and are able to kill all pathogenic microorganisms. This study aims to develop learning module based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) in statistical materials. This study applied Research and Development of ADDIE model, namely: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The subjects in this research were the eighth grade students of MTs Madani Alauddin. The instruments in this study were observation sheet for the implementation of teaching materials, students and teacher response questionnaires, and learning outcomes test. The findings show that the validation results for learning module and all instruments are in the very valid category. The practicality aspects of learning module meet very positive criteria based on students and teacher's responses and it is implemented based on the observation. Judging from the aspects of effectiveness, the students' learning outcomes have met the completeness criteria. Microstrip antenna is an antenna made of a thin metal strip capable of working at high frequencies. The microstrip antenna has been widely used in wireless technology, one of for WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) networks. In the study S-shaped microstrip antenna was designed and manufactured for the frequency of 5 GHz. Characteristics of the S-shaped microstrip antenna were determined both by using simulation and measurement based on the microstrip antenna parameters. The microstrip antenna was designed in an S-shaped patch configuration with a small dimension of 3.5 x 3.5 cm using copper (annealed) and the substrate was rectangular using lossy FR-4 material with a thickness of 1.6 mm. This research found that the S-shaped microstrip antenna works at a frequency of 5 GHz with a return loss of -19.076 dB, VSWR is 1.25, bandwidth is 227 MHz (4.54%), and again of 4.28 dBi. The radiation pattern of the E and H fields leads to a bidirectional pattern that emits and receives signals in two specific focal directions. Measurement results then showed that S-Shaped microstrip antenna works at a frequency of 5 GHz with a return loss of -15.33 dB, VSWR is 1.41, a bandwidth of 190 MHz (3.58%). In winning business competition, consumer purchasing decisions can be used as a competitive advantage for the retail company. Purchase decision is an important aspect of consumer behavior to determine whether to buy a product or not. Product quality, price, service quality, and social media promotion can be a good weapon to win from existing competitors or competitors. This study aims to test the hypothesis of the effect of product quality, price, service quality, and social media promotion on purchasing decisions for gadget accessories at Dazzle Yogyakarta store and compare which variables are more important in terms of consumer perceptions of Dazzle Yogyakarta using Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The population in this study were users of gadget accessories in Yogyakarta. While the samples in this study were consumers who had purchased gadget accessories at Dazzle Yogyakarta directly at least once. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method with a total sample of 210 respondents. The results showed that: 1) partially there was a positive but not significant effect on product quality on purchasing decisions. 2) Partially there is a positive and significant effect of price on purchasing decisions. 3) Partially there is a positive and significant effect of service quality on purchasing decisions. 4) Partially there is a positive and significant effect of social media promotion on purchasing decisions. 5) While product quality, price, service quality, and social media promotion simultaneously influence the decision to purchase gadget accessories at Dazzle Yogyakarta. The results of calculation show the consumer's perception of the rank of level of importance factors that influences the purchase decision of gadget accessories is price (0.645), social media promotion (0.366), service quality (0.291) and lastly product quality (0.085). Mesoporous silica with cubic structure, MCM-48, was synthesized using Ludox HS-40 and cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as a source of silica and template, respectively. The material obtained was used to adsorb sulfamethoxazole (SMX). The morphology of MCM-48 was observed using SEM-EDX and functional groups of MCM-48 were studied using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy. Parameters used to study the adsorption process were contact time and concentration. The adsorption of SMX on MCM-48 followed the pseudo-second-order model. A Freundlich isotherm fitted better the adsorption than a Langmuir isotherm with an adsorption capacity of 2.22 mg g−1. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The electrolyte gel preparation from natural polymers has been made as a component of Dye Sensitized solar cells (DSSC). Electrolyte gel is made from a mixture of alginate, potassium iodide (KI) and Iodine (I2) with a solvent casting method. Alginate gel is used as a matrix to bind KI/I2 solutions which act as electrolytes. In this study, KI/I2 electrolyte solution was made with a ratio of 10:1 then added alginate gel. To study the effect of the concentration of electrolyte solution on the electrolyte gel made by varying the amount of KI salt 10; 20; 30; 40 and 50%. In this study also studied the effect of polymer composites on the manufacture of electrolyte gels carried out by mixing alginate/PVA; Alginate/PEG and alginate/PVA/PEG. Based on the cyclic voltammetry data, the alginate-KI/I2 composite showed an oxidation and a reduction peak. This shows the occurrence of the redox cycle in the alginate-KI/I2 composite so that it can act as an electron flow mediator in the DSSC system. The effect of the amount of KI salt on the electrolyte gel shows the difference in the redox peak current produced. The highest peak current is obtained by adding KI salt 50% which is 2.5 mA. FTIR spectra data show the presence of carbonyl groups (C=O) and ether groups (C-O-C) which prove the occurrence of complexation between alginates and KI/I2 salts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Many studies have shown that some of cancer animal models have been established to study various aspects of cancer biology, including breast cancer. Substantial evidence has shown that administration of 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene (DMBA) in animal models can mimic human breast cancer in many ways. This preliminary research aimed to develop rat breast cancer models that will be used for a further study on phytotherapy as the alternative medicine for breast cancer. Four young Sprague Dawley female rats, aged 60 days, received a single subcutaneous injection of 25 mg DMBA mixed with 0.5 mL sunflower oil and 0.5 mL sodium chloride 0.9%. Control group received 0.5 ml of sunflower oil and 0.5 ml of saline only. Tumor detection by palpation and rats’ body weight measurement were performed every week after DMBA induction. At 10-weeks after DMBA induction, the tumor development was examined by ultrasound imaging. No significant differences were observed in the body weight between DMBA-induced rats and non-induced rats during 8-weeks after induction. Starting from week ninth, the body weight of the DMBA group significantly decreased (p=0.02) compared to the counterpart. A solid mass on the breast area was firstly detected at week seventh in one rat. Three weeks later the solid masses were detected in all DMBA-induced rats that proved by the ultrasound images showing hypoechoic lesions with irregular margin and calcification indicating malignancies. Although aerobic glycolysis (Warburg effect) in cancers had been accepted as a significant characteristic of cancer, changes in metabolic state in each stage of tumorigenesis remain to be explored. In this preliminary study, we analyzed the changes of several blood chemistry parameters intending to describe the general metabolic state of the early and advanced stages of tumorigenesis in rat mammary tumor models. The mammary tumor was induced in female Sprague Dawley (SD) rats by subcutaneous injection of 7, 12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene (DMBA). The rats were palpated on the breast every week after DMBA induction to detect tumor development. Blood chemistry examinations including blood glucose, triglyceride, cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, urea, and creatinine, were performed at 8-weeks and 12-weeks after DMBA induction. Rats were fasted 12-14 hours before retro-orbital blood collection. The spectrophotometer measured all the parameters. The palpable mammary tumor was firstly detected at 7-weeks on 1 of 4 DMBA induced rats. At three weeks later all rats had palpable tumors that also confirmed by ultrasound imaging. The blood chemistry measurements revealed that DMBA-induced rats had a significantly higher level of triglyceride (p=0.001) and creatinine (p=0.018); and glucose (p=0.007) at 8-weeks and 10-weeks after DMBA induction compared to the non-induced rats, respectively while not in the other parameters. The stages of tumor development may have a different profile of blood chemistry parameters. Further research should be performed to elucidate whether the profile could describe the metabolic reprogramming during tumorigenesis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Curcumin, a polyphenolic compound present in curcuma longa has a wide range of activities including antiinflammatory properties. The potency of curcumin is limited by its poor oral bioavailability because of its poor solubility in aqueous. Various methods have been tried to solve the problem including its encapsulation into nanoparticle. The aim of this study is to develop curcumin nanoparticle by using reinforcement ionic gelation technique and to evaluate the stability of curcumin nanoparticles in gastrointestinal fluid. Curcumin nanoparticles were prepared by using reinforcement ionic gelation technique with different concentrations of chitosan, trypolyphosphate, natrium alginate and calcium chloride. Curcumin nanoparticles were then characterized including particle size and zeta potential by using particle size analyzer and morphology using a transmission electron microscope, entrapment efficiency using UV-Vis Spectrophotometer and chemical structure analysis by Infra Red Spectrophotometer (FTIR). Furthermore, the stability of curcumin nanoparticles were evaluated on artificial gastric fluid and artificial intestinal fluids by measuring the amount of curcumin released in the medium at a time interval. The result revealed that curcumin nanoparticles can be prepared by reinforcement ionic gelation technique, the entrapment efficiency of curcumin nanoparticles were from 86.08 to 91.41%. The average of particle size was 272.9 nm and zeta potential was 12.05 mV. The morphology examination showed that the curcumin nanoparticles have spherical shape. The stability evaluation of curcumin nanoparticles showed that the nanoparticles were stable on artificial gastric fluid and artificial intestinal fluid.
