Abstract

The article presents research which examined the application of adaptive mesh refinement (AMR) in tsunami computation. The researchers mentioned that AMR is one of the most efficient computational techniques that can be used for enhancing local computing resolution at less cost. They assessed the technique in terms of computational cost as well as accuracy with the use of computational tests for long wave propagation.
