The main directions of the migratory flow of health specialists are towards more developed countries. Around 1/3 of Romanian health professions graduates are working abroad while the national health system faced with a chronic shortage of staff. The paper highlighted the fact that the increase in the number of graduates in recent decades did not ensure coverage of the deficit, because only a small part of them remain on the Romanian labor market, the motivation of migration being much higher income, lack of equipment and low level of transfer technological as well as working conditions. The lack of an integrated and realistic national plan for health care reform runs counter to developed countries' measures to attract and hire migrant physicians, and rapid integration facilities for new jobs promoted during the pandemic have kept the migration alternative as a solid alternative for graduates to pursue and progress in their careers abroad. Patient safety culture is a fundamental factor to influence the system safety, and, more importantly, a positive patient safety culture allows medical staff to reduce medical errors, learn from failures, and commit to safer care. While there is a stream of research on the factors that affect patient safety culture, limited studies so far have concentrated on investigating the impact of management leadership on patient safety culture. The current study aims to recognize the influence of management leadership affect patient safety culture from the perceptions of medical staff by using Chinese version of Safety Attitude Questionnaire (CSAQ). Our results revealed that teamwork climate, stress recognition, and working conditions have direct effect on safety climate. Moreover, significant indict effects of the perceptions of management on safety climate was mediated through teamwork climate, stress recognition, and working conditions, respectively. This study aims to develop an appropriate patient safety culture scale for healthcare organizations in Taiwan by revalidating Sexton et al. [9]’s Safety Attitudes Questionnaire (SAQ). Medical staffs were asked to answer the surveys in this case hospital in Taichung, Taiwan. Six hundred and twenty-seven and 644 valid questionnaires were respectively issued in 2015 and 2016. The reliability and validity analysis, correlation analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were performed to analyze the data by using SPSS 24 and AMOS 18. The results of exploratory factor analysis (EFA) firstly showed that the values of EFA were around 0.64 to 0.943 in 2015, and the EFA values were around 0.618 to 0.935 in 2016, respectively. The CFA results subsequently demonstrated that the values of CFA ranged from 0.842 to 0.919 in 2015, and the values were from 0.827 to 0.917 in 2016. Therefore, the development of new version of SAQ not only has good reliability and validity but also can be applied for enhancing Taiwan medical care. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As one of the countermeasures against infection at medical institutions, thorough hand hygiene is extremely important. In Japan, these controls are not sufficient. In order to do this management, it is necessary to track the hand washing situation. Therefore, we decided to monitor the condition of hand washing by utilizing IoT. Since there are environments where we can use IoT in our hospital, we decided to follow up using these environments. As a result, it is possible to collect data continuously for 24 hours, 365 days, and evaluate infection risk based on data. In addition, our hospital can also obtain location information on smartphone, so we can also track work. We are considering support for medical staff by utilizing smart devices. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
