Research conducted in the web services area has enabled organizations to integrate their applications, which has enabled the automation of business processes in several areas. However, it is necessary to provide solutions that favor the selection and integration of these web services at runtime effectively and efficiently. In the current web architecture many of these web services are designed according to the REST architectural style, but such solutions are insufficient and inefficient. This paper presents a service-based tool which makes use of ontologies to perform the semantic annotation of restful web services syntactically described in WSDL documents, enabling the invocation, discovery and composition tasks of these web services to occur automatically. An example of use is discussed, illustrating the use of semantic annotation of a restful web service and a SPARQL query, exemplifying its recovery in a semantic repository. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

RESTful Web services have become a popular standard that sees the web hosts as servers that offer resources using the HTTP protocol. The SERIN-Semantic RESTFul Interfaces applies Object Orientation Interfaces paradigm to define conceptual models that describe RESTful services syntactically and semantically. A host that implements an interface offer the specified RESTful services to access resources that are intances of the classes specified in the interface. The SERIN proposal adds annotations in the classes of OWL ontologies to determine which operations (add, modify, delete, or retrieve) the RESTful web services must perform. The structure actuated by fluidic principle and elastic deformation in its nature is described in the paper. Inserting single tubular element between rigid links, which are elastically hinged, the mechanical structure exhibits compliant nature. The processes of the mini-tube insertion in between the links elastically deforming it and its interaction with link in contact when pressurized are modeled and simulated.
