The article is devoted to the application of discrete-time controlled dynamical economic and mathematical models of production systemsfor solving the problem of constructing and minimax estimation of its predictive set in the fixed time period (the reachability set of the system in the fixed time period). On a given integer time interval, an economic and mathematical model of a controlled production systemthe output of products in the presence of a uncertain demand (controlled dynamical system) is considered, which is described by a system of linear discrete-time recurrent equations. In each time period, the values of the control action are bounded by the corresponding nonempty finite collection of vectors in corresponding finite-dimensional vector space, and the values of the phase vectors and vectors of demand of the dynamical system are bounded by the nonempty convex polyhedrons in corresponding finite-dimensional vector spaces. In the article describes the formalization of the problem of constructing and minimax estimation of the predictive set in the fixed time period of the dynamical system under consideration, as well as the proposed method for its solution. This article focuses on the delay-dependent stability of Hopfield neural networks with time-varying delays. To derive the stability condition, a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional(LKF) with the necessary conditions is considered, which contains the information of time-delays in the form of double-and triple-integrals. Besides that, some integral inequalities are utilized to estimate the double-and triple-integral terms in the derivative of LKF. Then, the delay-dependent criteria are expressed as linear matrix inequalities. Finally, numerical illustrations are given to justify the competence and potential of the results attained. This article studies the stability and stabilization analysis of additive time-varying delayed Markovian jump Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems. A memory state-feedback controller is adopted to ensure the stabilization of system. To obtain sufficient conditions that guarantee asymptotic stability, constructing an asymmetric Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF). This construction of LKF helps attain less conservative results and is obtained in the structure of linear matrix inequality (LMI). This paper presents a strategy to increase the accuracy and robustness of a stabilized platform based on Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) and Field-Oriented Control (FOC) of the BLDC motor. With the ADRC controller, the effects of both the internal uncertain dynamics and the external multisource disturbances on the system output are compensated as a total disturbance in real-time. The FOC reduces torque ripple resulting in smoother motor performance, less noise and more accuracy in platform position. This article presents digital models applied tasks of optimizing the logistics transport systems: a transportation plan at the transport network polygon, a freight operation plan of transport hub, a multi-criteria examination of transport systems. The proposed mathematical models are presented in the matrix form of writing degenerate linear programming problems. To solve this class of problems, based on the properties of positive matrices (the Perron-Frobenius theorem), the properties of the pseudoinverse matrix (generalized pseudoinverse of rectangular Moore-Penrose matrices), and the main theorem on linear inequalities (Farkash theorem), an algebraic method was developed for calculating the extrema of objective functions of multicriteria problems optimization of logistics of transport systems on a variety of technological and economic parameters limited by linear equalities and inequalities. One of the most important steps to design sliding mode control (SMC) is to design switching surface. Many methods have been developed to design the SMC. Two different approaches for the design of switching surface for a linearized inverted pendulum system have been presented in this paper. In the first method (Switching surface design via Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI)) a unique design method is proposed, which characterizes linear switching surface via LMI gave the designer some usefulness in the computational aspect, so that the switching surface for even higher-order systems can be easily calculated through this method. In this paper the semi-analytical solution is investigated for the delayed diffusive neural network model. Delay partial differential equations are approximated to the delay ordinary differential equation systems, by using Galerkin technique method. The main aim of this work is to determine the effect of diffusion and delay parameters and exploring the full map of stability analysis of the system. Stability analysis and bifurcation maps are discussed, as well, and in order to further explain certain concepts. The effect of diffusion parameter and delay values is comprehensively studied and as a result both variables can destabilize or stabilize the system. Illustrated examples of the unstable and stable limit cycles, and the Hopf bifurcation points are shown to prove the formerly revealed outcomes in the Hopf bifurcation map. In this paper, a new representation of the nonlinear dynamics of the tower crane system in Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy form is proposed and used for observer design. The TS fuzzy nonlinear observer is utilized to estimate unmeasurable states with guaranteed global asymptotic stability. The stability analysis is formulated as linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The TS fuzzy model is equivalent to a reduced-order nonlinear model of the tower crane system with a varying cable length. For verification, simulation results of the reduced-order model, TS nonlinear fuzzy model and the estimated observer states are compared to the results of a tower crane on a laboratory scale. The Linear Quadratic Regulator Problem (LQR) is applied in order to compute a control law that can achieve stability of the closed-loop system and predefined performance by minimizing a given cost function. In this paper we present an approach to perform perturbation analysis of linear quadratic regulator problem for continuous-time descriptor systems. The considered control problem is based on solving LMIs (Linear Matrix Inequalities) and applying Lyapunov functions. The paper is aimed at obtaining linear perturbation bounds for the continuous-time linear quadratic regulator problem for descriptor systems. This paper presents a method of Fault Tolerant Control (FTC) for vehicle lateral dynamics described by Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model to approximate the vehicle lateral dynamics with consideration of the roll motion. This approach focuses on actuator faults; which requires the knowledge of the system parameters and the occurring faults. For that, a Proportional-Integral Observer (PIO) is adapted to estimate the system states and faults. The proposed control makes it possible to preserve the stability of the vehicle even in the presence of these faults. The observer and controller designs are based on the Lyapunov approach formulated in Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). A unifying approach for multicriteria fixed-order H∞/H2 control for linear parametric systems is presented. The approach is based on a set of calculated full-order linear parametric controls that stabilize the dynamic system for all possible parameter trajectories. Due to the immeasurability of the task due to multiple parameters, the presented approach aims to obtain a limited set of linear matrix disparities to model multi-criterion fixed-order controls. This paper aims to obtain positive fuzzy minimal solution for positive singular fully fuzzy Sylvester matrix equation (FFSE). A FFSE is said to be singular when the coefficient fuzzy matrix of the equation is not invertible whereby its determinant equal to zero. In obtaining the solution, first of all, the FFSE is converted to fully fuzzy linear system (FFLS) by using Kronecker product and Vec-operator. In this paper, the basic approach of a generic method for the model-based robust control of AC-DC converters is shown. For this purpose, an LMI-based representation of stability regions with pole specifications is used. A special feature of this approach is that the desired closed loop behavior is determined by the selection of a pole region. Low Bandwidth Active Suspension (LBAS) is shown to be more competitive to High Bandwidth Active Suspension (HBAS) when energy and cost aspects are taken into account. In this paper, the constrained H∀ control scheme is applied for LBAS system. The H∀ performance is used to measure ride comfort while the concept of reachable set in a state-space ellipsoid defined by a quadratic storage function is used to capture the time domain constraint that representing the requirements for road holding, suspension deflection limitation and actuator saturation. In this paper, we consider H∞ control problem for a class Hopfield neural networks with interval time-varying delay. The time delay is a continuous function belonging to a given interval, but not necessariry differentiable. The stabilizing controllers to be designed must satisfy some exponential stability constraints on the closed-loop poles. Based on the construction of improved Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals combined with Newton-Leibniz formula. The hybrid dynamics of the genetic regulatory networks (GRNs) have attracted much research attention in recent years. This paper is concerned with the stability analysis of piecewise GRNs. Depending on whether the state partitions and mode transitions are known or unknown as a priori, the proposed networks are divided into two categories, i.e., switched GRNs and hybrid GRNs. It is shown that, by using common polynomial Lyapunov functions and piecewise polynomial Lyapunov functions, two conditions are established to ensure the globally asymptotically stability for switched and hybrid GRNs, respectively. Moreover, it is shown that, by using the sum of squares (SOS) techniques, stability conditions in form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) for both models can be obtained. In this paper we examine the conditions in which data fusion can be performed by neglecting the unmodeled correlation between two information sources without compromising the consistency of the system. More specifically, we explore those situations in which one can disregard the correlation information and achieve a consistent estimate by simply adding the respective estimates' information matrices. This paper presents a intelligent digital redesign technique for the fuzzy dynamic output-feedback controller of the nonlinear system. A Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is adopted for the nonlinear system and the discretized models of the analog and digital closed-loop system with fuzzy dynamic output-feedback controllers, respectively. Sufficient conditions are derived for both the stabilization of the digital closed-loop system and minimization of the matrix norm distance between the analog and digital closed-loop system matrices. This paper describes the integration of a Type-I Internal Model Converter (IMC) with the Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy (TS) modeling technique of a boost converter, in order to control the output of this DC-DC converter. The IMC used in this work adds an integrator to the TS local models, which allows the tracking of step references, according to the internal control principle. Linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) are used to calculate the local controllers, in order to guarantee an asymptotic stability, robustness against variation in the parameters and set the dynamics of the closed-loop control system. This paper presents a robust unknown input observer-based approach to deal with fault diagnosis for sampled-data control system with unknown input. Firstly a discrete-time model was considered to approximate its continuous-time dynamics. Secondly by considering the actuator or sensor fault as an auxiliary state vector, an augmented system is constructed. Thirdly we derive the structure of the proposed robust unknown input observer. A sufficient existence condition in terms of the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) technique is given and proved. Finally, the proposed method is applied to a sampled-data flight control system. The energy-to-peak filtering problem of Markov jump systems with interval time-varying delay is investigated in this note. The proposed method in dealing with time-delay incorporates a mode-dependent Lyapunov functional and a precise upper estimation for a combination of positive-definite matrices with reciprocal coefficients. A novel sufficient condition for the solvability of the desired mode-dependent filter can be constructed by solving a set of standard LMIs, which guarantees stochastic stability and a prescribed l2−l∞ disturbance attenuation level of the resulting filtering error system. This paper is concerned with the performance of LMI-based robust model predictive controllers (RMPC) designed for systems with uncertain time delay. Such an uncertainty can be associated, for instance, to unpredictable changes in operating conditions, failures in the system components or reconfigurations in communication links. More specifically, the investigation involves the determination of “regions of guaranteed cost” D̄γ, defined as the set of feasible initial state conditions for which the resulting cost function is not greater than a given value ̄γ. These regions are characterized by using a recently proposed technique in which an inner approximation of D̄γ is generated as the convex hull of extreme points determined through the solution of a modified version of the RMPC optimization problem. For illustration, a numerical simulation model of an angular positioning system with input delay is employed. The results reveal that the presence of delay causes a loss of performance, in that D̄γ becomes smaller for a given guaranteed cost ̄γ. Suppose that we wish to determine the location of a point x* ∈ ℝk by comparing the distance from x* to various points x1, x2, …, xk ℝk with known position. In this paper we consider the scenario where we are only provided with (possibly noisy or contradictory) relations of the form ∥x* − xi∥2 < ∥x* − xj∥2. The paper uses an LMI-based iterative nonlinear optimization algorithm to establish a method of designing state-feedback controllers for power systems with a time-varying delay. This method is based on the delay-dependent stabilization conditions obtained by free weighting matrix approach. In the stabilization conditions, the upper bound of wide-area signal's transmission delays is taken into consideration. Combining theories of state observer, the adeptive supervisory controller (ASC) is designed and time-delay output feedback robust controller is realized for power system. The ASC uses the input information from wide-area measurement systems (WAMS) and dispatches supplementary control signals to the available local controllers. For the space application, error detection and correction (EDAC) technique is often adopted to protect memory cells against Single Event Upset (SEU) errors. To improve the EDAC ability and in view of the parity memory having 8 bits width, a single error correction and double error detection (SEC-DED) (40,32) Hamming code is proposed. This scheme is on the base of (39,32) Hsiao code, adding a check bit to minimize the probability of 3 bits faults corrected in error. To optimize the EDAC circuit area, an algorithm solving mutual expressions is proposed. Experimental results indicate that, compared with the (39,32) Hsiao code method, the critical path delay of the encoder and that of the decoder are not increased, the EDAC circuit area only adds 297.044982 um2, and if the 2GB external memory is protected by the two schemes respectively, the SEU failure rate using the (40,32) Hamming code method can be lower by one order of magnitude. By using the proposed algorithm solving mutual expressions, the circuit area of the encoder and decoder of the (40,32) Hamming code scheme all reduce 72.988199 um2, and the encoder area decreases by 5.9%. This paper is focused on developing a non-fragile state feedback tracking control for a flexible air-breathing hypersonic vehicle under the condition that the elastic modal is not measured. First, the linear model of the FAHV is obtained under given trim condition by using Jacobian linearization. Second, through treating flexibility as the input disturbance, the non-fragile state feedback controller has been designed to stabilize the closed-loop systems and reduce the fragility encountered in controller implementation. A novel event-based technique for distributed estimation over wireless sensor networks (WNSs) is presented. The methodology is based on local Luenberger-like observers in combination with a consensus strategy. The observer design problem is firstly solved via linear matrix inequalities by assuming periodic communication among the observers. A proof of asymptotic stability of the estimation errors is provided. Then, an event-based implementation is proposed to reduce both the traffic load in the network and the energy consumption of the nodes due to unnecessary transmissions. It is shown that Globally Ultimately Uniformly Boundedness (GUUB) of the estimation errors into an arbitrary small ultimate bound region can be achieved when using the event-based implementation. This paper considers the problem of designing robust H∞ controllers for for HIV/AIDS infection system. The Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model is adopted for fuzzy modelling of the HIV infection dynamic systems. A sufficient condition of the controller for this system is given in term of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). The effectiveness of the proposed controller design methodology is finally demonstrated through simulation results. This paper proposes a new non-fragile fault tolerant guaranteed cost controller design method for a class of Takagi¨CSugeno (T¨CS) fuzzy uncertain systems with state-delay. By following Zhang et al.'s design method, a special class of recurrent neural network termed Zhang neural network (ZNN) has been proposed for online solution of time-varying linear inequalities. For the purpose of digital-hardware implementation, the resultant ZNN model is discretized by employing Euler difference rule in this paper. We consider the stabilization problems via LMI methods for linear system subject to time delays, parameter uncertainties and bounded input. This paper deals the stability analysis of the PDC controller synthesis of a synchronous machine represented by TS fuzzy model. By using a change of the state variable and combining with the Lyapunov-Krasovskii method, new sufficient conditions for exponential stabilization via static and dynamic output feedback controllers are proposed. The conditions are expressed in terms of matrix inequalities but with only one parameter needs to be tuned and therefore can be efficiently solved by incorporating an one-dimensional search method into the Matlab's LMI toolbox. There are diverse types of loads and power resources in microgrid, resulting in lots of power quality problems such as a large number of harmonics and voltage fluctuations. This paper established a unified math model of UPQC in micorgrid, a optimizing control method which based on the robust H2/H∞ controllers was proposed. Uncertain parameters of structures are introduced into state equation; meanwhile, both the H∞ disturbance suppression and the optimal H2 performances of the closed-loop control system are satisfied simultaneously for all allowable uncertainties. The robust H2/H∞ controller design was transformed into a optimal problem with constraints of linear matrix inequalities, the output feedback controllers can be applied. Containment analysis and design problems for high-order linear time-invariant singular swarm systems with time delays on directed graphs are dealt with. To eliminate impulse terms in singular swarm systems and ensure that the singular swarm systems can achieve containment, time-delayed protocols are presented for leaders and followers respectively. By model transformation, containment problems of singular swarm systems are converted into the asymptotically stable problems of multiple low-dimensional time-delayed systems. In terms of linear matrix inequality, sufficient conditions are presented for time-delayed singular swarm systems to achieve containment, which are independent of the number of agents. By applying changing variable methods, an approach is provided to determine the gain matrix in the protocols. Numerical simulations are shown to demonstrate theoretical results.
