This article evaluates Izod Impact Behaviour on E-glass fibre - reinforced with epoxy composite addition of new Buteamonospermafiller to ordinary GFRP epoxy composites. Materials and Procedures: Buteamonospermafiller is added in varying volume fractions of 10% and 20% in this research, together with an epoxy matrix reinforced by E-glass fibre. Hand lay-up was used to create the laminates. Result Following the results of the testing, it was determined that a composite with a 10% volume fraction of Buteamonosperma filler displayed substantial Izod Impact strength in comparison to plain GFRP laminate. The p-value for Izod Impact strength across and across groups is 0.000. (p0.05). Conclusion: E-glass fibre reinforced composite material with Buteamonosperma filler and plain glass fibre reinforced epoxy composites were made within the scope of this investigation. The use of Buteamonosperma filler increases Izod Impact characteristics; the 10% Volume fraction had greater Izod Impact strength than the composite with 20% Volume fraction added. The goal of this research is to assess the flexural behaviour of epoxy matrix composite reinforcement using Kevlar fibre and but eamonosperma in ordinary KFRP epoxy composites. Methods and Materials: As an experimental group (N=40), Kevlar fibre reinforced epoxy composites with 15% and 20% volume fractions of buteamonosperma were used. A control group of Kevlar fibre epoxy composite (N=20) was used. Flexural testing was performed in accordance with ASTM requirements on composite plates manufactured by hand lay up. The pre-test power was 80%, the Alpha was 0.05%, and the CL was 95%. The G power test was performed to determine the number of samples for each group. The sample calculator's mean and standard deviation were calculated using prior research. The mean value and standard deviation used in the computation for the experimental study were 39 and 1.5, respectively. The flexural strength of kevlar fibre reinforced epoxy composite with 20% volume fraction of buteamonosperma filler increased more than the flexural strength of kevlarfiber epoxy composite with 15% volume fraction of buteamonosperma filler reinforced epoxy composite and plain KFRP. The experimental and control groups both had a significance value of 0.000. Conclusion: Kevlar fibre reinforced epoxy composite with a 20% volume fraction of buteamonosperma filler demonstrated a considerable increase in flexural strength. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Hybrid composites are widely used in various applications in the structural components of aircraft, automobile, sports goods and consumer products. The aim of this research is to make hybrid composite by laying mesh made of stainless steel and synthetic fiber (glass) as support with epoxy as matrix. To obtain improved thermal properties through design of stacking sequence and precise fabrication parameters are adopted. These laminates are prepared to achieve better impact toughness. In this study the thermal stability of both laminates viz., non-hybrid and hybrid composites are analyzed by conducting thermo gravimetric analysis and the test results were also discussed. Metal mesh fiber reinforced composites are used in various application in the present day to meet growth and stringent demands in the aircraft, automobile, sports goods and consumer products. By hybridizing metal mesh and fiber glass reinforcement in a polymer matrix superior mechanical property can be achieved through design of stacking sequence and application of precise fabrication parameters. The main idea behind the composites is the synergic effect produced by the reinforcement fibers with matrix resin. Drilling was performed using uncoated high speed steel twisted drill bit on the laminates. The optimum process parameter to avoid delamination was calculated by Taguchi method; 10 mm diameter of drill bit with a tool speed of 500 rpm and 0.05 mm tool feed provides the lowest delamination of the stacked epoxy laminate composite. With 51.3% influence, delamination factor is mainly dependent on the diameter of drill bit, followed by speed of tool bit and feed rate of tool with higher combined influence of diameter and speed. AgGaS2 is a I-III-VI2 ternary semiconducting compound with chalcopyrite type structure. The AgGaS2polycrystalline charges were successfully synthesized from the high purity starting elements (Ag, Ga, S). The synthesized AgGaS2 polycrystalline charge was confirmed by powder XRD. Thermal property of AgGaS2 was analyzed using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) technique. The melting point of AgGaS2 is 1002°C and the freezing point is 918°C. Single crystals of Propyl-p-hydroxybenzoate (PHB) crystals have been grown by slow evaporation solution technique (SEST) using methanol as a solvent. The PHB single crystal of dimension up to 27×16×8 mm3 has been grown in a period of 18 days at room temperature. The optical transparency of the grown PHB crystal has been measured on (212) plane by UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer. The crystal has 60% of transparency in the entire visible region. The thermo gravimetric analysis (TG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA) studies reveal that the crystal is thermally stable up to 99°C. The mechanical strength of the grown PHB crystal is measured using Vickers microhardness tester. The chemical etching studies were carried out on (212) plane using methanol etchant. The laser damage threshold of PHB crystal is 1.3 GW/cm2. The dielectric properties have been investigated. The birefringence value is found to be 0.10148 at the wavelength of 504 nm.
