The article explores the application of neural networks in color computer matching systems. In 1931, Paul Kubelka and Franz Munk introduced mathematical equations concerning radiative transfer, which were used in conventional computer color matching systems. Conventional CCM systems feature correction factor equations which operate automatically. These factors support the original algorithms in order to successfully achieve better results in future formula predictions. Since the performance of conventional CCM systems is efficient, the coverage of the initial stage of the neural network project is to center on dark shades and fluorescent dye mixes.
