The article presents a study which examines the synthesis and characterization of poly(butyl acrylate) (PBA)/n-hexadecane microcapsules and their thermal performances in fabrics. In this study, PBA shell and n-hexadecane core microcapsules have been produced and applied to some fabrics using basic coating methods in textiles. It concludes that phase change materials (PCMs) microcapsules with PBA shell and n-hexadecane core have been produced by emulsion polymerization. Further, microcapsules have high latent heat storage capacity to apply textiles.

The article presents a study on the production of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nanofibers integrated polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)/n-hexadecane nanocapsules for thermal performances in textiles. It states that the nanoparticles are noticeable in both the PAN and PVA nanofibers when they are incorporated through electrospinning. In addition, the PVA and PAN nanofibers which contains PMMA/n-hexadecane nanocapsules as energy that store element could have been tested and produced.
