MCDM techniques are essential for a variety of decision-making tasks. Approaching the difficulty of determining an appropriate solution is very challenging and complex since many aspects play a significant role. A novel Measurement Alternatives and Ranking (MARCOS) approach for sustainable supplier selection in retail establishments in Morocco is proposed in this study. The developed approach has the following advantages: before the development of an initial matrix, examination of an anti-ideal and ideal solution, more precision about the concept of usefulness, with consideration to both alternative solutions, the development of a new approach to calculate utility functions and the potential of considering a broad range of criteria and alternatives while still keeping the stability of the approach. Supplier selection is very important for organizations. Sustainability in supplier selection is a major problem for all organizations, and supplier selection processes are improperly executed in all areas of activity. And so, this case illustrates how to apply the MARCOS methodology to identify sustainable suppliers in the retail sector, which is done step-by-step, along with detailed explanations and which takes into consideration the criteria derived from the literature. Reheater is one of the important heat exchange components in a high capacity power plant of a boiler system. The aim of this study is to improve heat transfer of a reheater system. The method is to maximize steam production and at the same time, keeping variables within constraints. Fuzzy arithmetic is a powerful tool used to solve engineering problems with uncertain parameters. Therefore, in order to determine heat transfer efficiency, the state space of reheater is simulated using fuzzy arithmetic by taking into account the uncertainties in the reheater system. The uncertain model parameters and the model inputs are represented by fuzzy numbers with their shape derived from quasi-Gaussian function. Finally, this paper discusses how the mathematical model can be manipulated in order to produce maximum heat transfer with least loss of energy. The intuitionistic fuzzy modelling has provided new vistas in artificial intelligence, expert systems, neural networks, data bases, and decision making. In this paper, the Bloom's taxonomy is considered under an intuitionistic fuzzy framework. The context free intuitionistic fuzzy automata are used to establish a pair of degrees that measure the intuitionistic fuzzy level of capability to do tasks related to every Bloom's level. It is shown that machine learning working with intuitionistic fuzzy models is an appropriate way to model human behaviour in approaching various tasks. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose of the study is to investigate the identification for computer-assisted instruction (CAI) of junior high school students, used fuzzy statistical analysis. Subjects, 34 junior high students, were asked to use fuzzy numbers to answer questionnaire which designed by researcher. The study used independent sample test of non-parametric. The fuzzy statistical methods were used to analyze, including fuzzy sample mode, fuzzy sample mean, and fuzzy £q2-test of homogeneity. The results showed that except the fifth item had significant differences on the dimension of " strongly agree" there were significant differences on the dimension of "agree" in the rest of the items.
