Medical students participate in practice as a part of a study plan in the fifth year at the School of Medicine, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU). This allows them to come across a variety of patient cases, as a pathway to gain comprehensive experience before graduation. At present, this is usually conducted through a paper-based log, between students and advisors. Yet, this conventional approach does not provide information regarding area-specific cases, which is useful for promoting the diversity of experience. Given these drawbacks, a web application is proposed to better manage cases over time. With this working platform, students and advisors exchange ideas, clarify doubts, view disease statistics found in each location, and the achievement system to stimulate students to take in more patient cases.
