A Gasoline Engine Vehicle (GV) modified into a Hybrid Engine Vehicle (HEV) has been investigated. The Hybrid Engine Vehicle (HEV) is able to run on electrical power as well as fuel like petrol. It has several advantages over Gasoline Engine Vehicle (GV). A comparative study of Hybrid Engine Vehicle (HEV) with Gasoline Engine Vehicle (GV) has been also done. It has been founded that as compare to Gasoline Engine Vehicle (GEV) having 110 cc engine capacity for 50,000 km, the price of fuel consumption is reduced 42.2% by Hybrid Engine Vehicle (HEV). Here 70:30 of petrol and electricity respectively has been used in total traveling distance. It founded that the total servicing and maintenance of Hybrid Engine Vehicle (HEV) is reduced by 28.32% than Gasoline Engine Vehicle (GV). It has been also observed that emission of NOx and hydro-carbon is reduced by 30.07% by use of Hybrid Engine Vehicle (HEV) instead of Gasoline Engine Vehicle (GV). Due to attachment of Li-ion battery and several type of accessories, the weight of HEV has been increased by 21.7% than GEV. Therefore, Hybrid Engine Vehicle (HEV) is a better solution for reduction in fossil fuel and harmful emission. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
