The PVLAS collaboration has obtained results that may be interpreted in terms of a light axion-like particle, while the CAST collaboration has not found any signal of such particles. Moreover, the PVLAS results are in gross contradiction with astrophysical bounds. Research of degradation of mechanical properties cast austenite steel was carry out from the samples of metal of operational components. It includes the measurement of micro hardness ferrite phases, definition of values of impact strength is lead at various temperature with the subsequent fractograph analysis of the destroyed samples. On the basis of these researches dependence of impact strength cast austenite steel from its micro hardness ferrite phase is established. The model of a settlement estimation of impact strength cast steel is offered to steel at degradation of its properties as a result of thermal embrittlement. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
