The study aimed to determine the comparative evolution of obesity and cancers in urban and rural populations. Materials and Methods:A total of 285 responses were collected from the survey with self-administered questionnaires for determining and quantifying the evolution of obesity and cancers in urban and rural populations. We calculated samples by using the statistical package of social sciences (SPSS). The sample size was calculated by maintaining G-power 80%, α=0.05 and a confidence interval of 95%. Results:The study highlighted that retarded physical activity increased obesity-associated cances in the urban population (64.6%) with statistical insignificance of p>0.05. Lack of modern infrastructure in the rural area (35.4%) increased the physical activity with retarded obesity associated with cances. Conclusion: Based on the survey responses obtained for the given conditions and innovative study, we were able to infer that urban (64.6%) residents have more obese associated with cancer and had a great impact on reducing their quality of life. Whereas rural (35.4%) residents had fewer obese people with less cancer due to their daily physical activities compared to urban residents (64.6%). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
