This paper aims to study the behavior and load carrying capacities of a hybrid connected beam-column joint when loaded under static conditions. This research aimed to investigate and observe how slurry infiltrated fiber concrete (SIFCON) affected the results. One ratio is dependent now, 7% percent for each type of steel fiber, such as hook end steel fiber, micro steel fiber, and hook-micro fiber, to observe its effect in SIFCON. Experimental work includes evaluating a beam-column joint, one specimen of which employs regular concrete only, and the others cast with SIFCON in the crucial portion in addition to regular concrete. Ultimate load capacity compared with a control specimen showed that specimens with SIFCON were more efficient than those without SIFCON. As a result of employing a SIFCON, the increase ratio for enhancing ultimate loads raised to (37.5%, 18.75% and 26.25%) for samples using hook fiber, hook+ micro steel fiber, and micro steel fiber, whereas hook end steel fiber showed better flexural strength than micro steel fiber. Although statistical solutions to Quadratic Assignment Problems (QAP) have been accessible for some time, the increasing application of Evolutionary Algorithms (EAs) to similar challenges provides a mechanism for handling QAP with extremely broad scope. The primary contribution of the study is that it normalizes all the criteria into a single scale, irrespective of their measurement units and the demand of minimum or maximum, freeing up the researchers from the burden of meticulously quantifying the quality criteria. A tabu search algorithm for quadratic assignment issues is proposed (TSQAP), which combines the constraints of tabu search with a discrete assignment problem. The effectiveness of the suggested algorithm has been compared to certain well-established approaches, and its working principle is explained with a numerical example. After repeating the solution of each issue (8) once and recording the algorithm results, it showed its agreement, once from a total (375) a repetition of the experiment while the number of times the Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) arrived (2) as for the Firefly (FA) Algorithm giving (117), also Genetic (GA) and Particle Swarm (PSO) gives (120) and the Tabu Search algorithm (136). This article explores various techniques to optimize the operation of lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles (EVs). Lithium-ion batteries exhibit their highest performance within a temperature range of 16 to 25°C, while maintaining functionality within a broader range of 0 to 35°C. The article focuses on investigating different cooling methods, including liquid jackets, cold plates, microchannel cooling plates, serpentine channel cooling plates, and coolant immersion, to regulate the temperature of lithium-ion battery packs. The effectiveness of the thermal management system in maintaining the battery temperature within the specified operating range is thoroughly examined through experimental and simulation results. The findings reveal that these cooling techniques successfully control the temperature under various discharge loads. The recorded maximum temperature (Tmax) is 33.82°C, with a delta Tmax (ΔTmax) of 3.18°C at an ambient temperature of 26.5°C. Maintaining an appropriate temperature range is vital for optimizing the performance of lithium-ion batteries in EVs. The results provide valuable insights and pave the way for future research to enhance the thermal management system for lithium-ion battery packs in EVs. In this work, perovskite-type SmFeO3 nanocrystalline powder samples have been synthesized via two distinct methods, namely sol-gel (SG) process and solid state reaction (SSR) route. Rietveld refinement of XRD patterns confirm phase purity and crystallinity of both the samples. Average crystallite size is calculated using Debye-Scherer method and found to be 46 nm in case of SFO (SG) and 63 nm in case of SFO (SSR). The FTIR spectra exhibits two active vibrational modes around 556 cm−1 and 419 cm−1 in case of SFO (SG) sample and 558 cm−1 and 430 cm−1 in case of SFO (SSR) sample associated with stretching and bending vibration modes, respectively. The optical energy band-gap of SFO (SG) and SFO (SSR) samples are calculated using Tauc's relation and found to be 2.47 eV and 3.12 eV, respectively. P-E measurement affirms enhancement in the value of remnant polarization, maximum polarization and reduction in the value of breakdown fields in case of SFO (SG) sample as compared to SFO (SSR) sample. Bacterial activity is a main form of food deterioration and is frequently to blame for the decline in the quality and safety of these foods. The aim of this study including Isolation and identification of bacteria that cause bacteremia in beef meat, as well as testing a group of plant extracts and researching the possibility of using them as a preservative in the long term., as well as testing a group of plant extracts and researching the possibility of using them as a preservative in the long term. In this study, Three pieces of beef meat were taken from the market with 50 g of weighed from different sources. A group of contaminated bacteria was concluded As well as testing three types of extracts including Punica granatum (Pomegranate) peels, Sumac (Rhus coriaria) seeds, and Grape (Vitis vinifera) seeds, utilizing the well diffusion method, Two types of G+ bacteria (S. aureus) and three types of G-bacteria (S. typhi, E. coli and P. aeruginosa) were evaluated for antibacterial activity against food poisoning germs. The most vulnerable strain was S. aureus against extract plant powder, followed by E. coli. The bacteria that were most resistant to the powdered plant extract were S. typhi and P. aeruginosa. The highest inhibition zone of Punica granatum (30 mm) is compared with the positive control (Azithromycin, Gentamicin, Ciprofloxacin, Meropenem, and Levofloxacin), in contradiction of S. aureus. Electrolysis cell which is one of the easiest techniques for Hydrogen production have been manufactured in the present research work. The constructed cell was manufacture by using multiples electrodes plate type of stainless steel 314 and immersed in the electrolyte solution. The practical results revealed that the volume of produced Hydrogen gas was significantly affected when the reaction parameters such as electrolyte concentration and operation time are varied. It has been found that the electrolysis cell constructed with multiple electrodes plate is a good choice to increase Hydrogen production in comparison with the previous various study. In the present work Ni2O3 nanomaterial is a phase of Nickel Oxide have been synthesized via using simple chemical process. It is a simple, rapid and cost effective method. Nickel Chloride Hexahydrate NiCl2.6H2O and Potassium Hydroxide KOH are the basic materials used in the present process, by utilizing a temperature at 250 oC for 2 hour. The morphological, structural and optical properties of the synthesized samples were characterized by employing various techniques such as AFM, XRD, UV-Vis and FTIR respectively. The XRD technique confirm the presence of Ni2O3 nanomaterial with crystal size 57.083 nm which consistent with AFM, UV-Vis and FTIR. Results revealed that the fast, simple and low cost method produced Ni2O3 in Nano size range. The synthesis Ni2O3 will be useful for different industries. People all throughout the world have been concerned about oil spills not only does it harm the environment, but it also harms human health and aquatic animal life. Salt leaching method adopted to prepare polymeric sorbents from PMMA, PS, and their blend using Dimethylformamide (DMF) solvent according to Hildebrand solubility parameter approach. Three tests categories were carried out, which related to the polymeric sorbents, water and kerosene properties. Hildebrand solubility parameter utilized to select the suitable solvent, and results proved that DMF solvent can be used for both PMMA and PS polymers. FTIR results showed the characteristics bands for either PMMA or PS, as well as showed no chemical reaction between them when blending. Density results showed low blend density compared with densities of the initial polymers indicating to the phase separation within the blend network, which enhances the floatability and the sorption capacity. The sorption capacities of PMMA are 5g/g for water and 10.89 g/g for kerosene after eight days, whereas these capacities were 3 g/g and 4.266 g/g for PS respectively. Kerosene thickness results proved that, as kerosene thicknesses increased, the sorption capacity increased. Selectivity results showed that, the absorbance and the selectivity of PMMA is higher than those of PS. And the maximum selectivity occurs after 3-4 days. According to the changing of properties of both water and kerosene, the separation efficiency is not 100% and there is some overlapping between their molecules. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Forests are the main source of economy and livelihood for millions of tribals worldwide. Tribal people are important owing to their residing in harmony with forests and involvement in conservation which is recognized worldwide. The present work is an attempt to provide information on the involvement of tribals of Jammu and Kashmir that constitutes 11.91% of its population to promote forest management and conservation, especially post implementation of Forest Rights Act, 2006. The study indicates that tribal involvement with their indigenous knowledge has the substantial potential to protect and conserve forests in the study area. An in-depth analysis was done on the involvement of tribal people of Jammu and Kashmir in forest conservation. The observations indicate that the grant of rights to tribals of J&K after implementation of Forest Rights Act, 2006 would secure their claim over forest products, reduce friction and help link them firmly with the forests in the long run. The acceptance of tribals as an integral part of forests, having rights over its products and their involvement would help in promoting forest conservation initiatives effectively in the study area. The authors use GIS and visual interpretation in this research to introduce radioactive contamination in a specific facility at the Al Tuwaitha nuclear complex, Iraq. Due to this pollution issue, a new finding in 2011 of high-radiation dosage equivalents at the site imparts light. The absorbed doses in the study area of the Lama Research laboratory range from 7.725 to 62.02 R/hr when compared to the international norms of UNSCEAR 2000 and the World Nuclear Association (WNA 2011). At (62.02 R/hr), the most significant and significant radiation hotspot, the maximum radiation dosage occurred. The study's aim is to clarify how different steel types impact the mechanical characteristics of SIFCON ("slurry infiltration fibre reinforced concrete"). Three sets of SIFCON specimens with a 7% fibre volume percentage were cast and examined. Micro steel fiber reinforcement is discussed in the first group, hook-end steel fiber reinforcement is discussed in the second group, and hybrid fiber reinforcement is discussed in the third group (3.5 per cent micro steel fibre and 3.5 per cent hook-end steel fibre). The research discovered that the geometry of fibres has "a significant influence on compressive strength", "splitting tensile strength", and the stress-strain curve because the network of fibres created and their density are dependent on the kind of fibres. Where the relevance of hook steel fibres much outweighs that of micro- end, actual findings show that mixing long and short fibres produces outstanding results as compared to standard concrete. When compared to conventional concrete, the strength of hook, hybrid (hook+micro), and micro steel fibre was enhanced by 134.21 percent, 123.68 percent, and 95.53 percent, respectively. The stress-strain curve data showed a similar trend. For 7 percent fibre content, the splitting tensile strength improved by 345.86 percent, 337.35 percent, and 276.122 percent for hook, hybrid (hook +micro), and micro steel fibre, respectively.
