This paper presents the results of the falling dolomite rocks modelling using the continuum approach and the kinetic theory of granular gas. The two-fluid model was used. In the two-fluid model, the material (rock fragments) is considered as a continuous medium, which is characterized by a continuously distributed volume fraction of rock fragments. The kinetic theory of granular gas is used for describing of the possible fluidization, since this theory takes into account the motion of material both in a dense state and in a rarefied one. The mass and momentum conservation equations and the differential equation for the transport of granular temperature were solved. In this paper we also present initial and boundary conditions for the problem of modelling of the falling dolomite rocks. We used the two-fluid model to determine the collapse zone, which depends on the slope parameters. We compared these results with the results of modeling by discrete element method. When we increased the value of the slope angle, the collapse zone (the distance of the dolomite fragments run) was increased almost linearly in all cases. The results of the two-fluid model describe the experimental data and the results of calculations based on the discrete element method well. This paper presents a new approach to automated identification of human emotions based on analysis of body movements, a recognition of gestures and poses. Methodology, models and automated system for emotion identification are considered. To characterize the person emotions in the model, body movements are described with linguistic variables and a fuzzy hypergraph for temporal events, which are transformed into the expression in a limited natural language. The article evaluates the impact of augmented reality technology on motivation to learn a foreign language by higher University students. Motivation is the key to successful language learning that stimulates learners to realize their academic potential. The experiment reveals that augmented reality motivates students to learn better, influences their engagement and performance, and boosts learning indicators. This new-age technology, meeting the needs and interests of present-day generation, has a positive impact of students' attention, emotions, self-assurance and belief in academic achievement, promotes a better teacher-student understanding, and therefore opens a new dimension in education. The research studies the elastoplastic transition in α-Fe alloy composed of 0.025 wt % of carbon in the temperature range from 296 K to 473 K and deformation velocity from 3.33·10−5 s−1 to 3.33·10−2 s−1. It was found that the lower yield stress increases with an increase of deformation velocity according to the power law. An increase in the test temperature leads to a linear decrease in the velocity sensitivity index and a transition from the stationary kinetics of Chernov-Lüders band propagation to discrete kinetics, when surges in the deformation stress are observed on the yield plateau. On the basis of quantitative estimates, it is shown that the nature of the kinetics of band propagation is controlled by the mobility of impurity insertion atoms. Discrete kinetics occurs at increased temperatures, when high mobility of carbon atoms ensures multiple detachment and pinning of dislocations from impurity centers. Otherwise, the process develops stationary with a constant velocity. The discussion is carried out within the framework of the autowave concept of plastic flow. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
