The paper presents the theoretical analysis concerning the realization conditions of the capping layer in Romania, in comparison with the stipulations of other technical norms, especially the French ones. The authors aim at emphasizing the technical solutions which can be applied in different situations to obtain a high bearing capacity at the bottom of the pavement, with beneficial effects on the reduction of the road layer thickness and a better operational behavior. The comparative analysis will show that several values of the bearing capacity at the earthworks level can coexist in the pavement dimensioning. It is important that the value taken into consideration in the calculation does not decrease during operation. On the other hand, the site verification of the quality conditions designed for the upper level of the earthworks bears a significant importance before the realization of the pavement. The paper also presents the technical solutions favored by the specialists in the south- west Romania for the realization of the capping layer, pointing out the advantages and drawbacks which can lead to changes in the today outlook. This paper analyzes the problem of visual representation of "moon landscapes" in the poetic heritage of the French poet-symbolist Paul Verlaine. The appeal of poets and other artists of XIX century to the nocturne demonstrated new possibilities of the author's statement in the text characterized as synthetic, as a text in which different languages of art are intertwined. It declared a polycode method of representation, in which the symbolism of twilight and melancholic existence fixed the new metaphysics of the night. The poet's concept of the night is associated with sadness and lovesickness, with a "dream of nothingness" and metamorphoses of nature. New artistic tools of poetic language allowed the poet to integrate the visual experience into the verbal landscapes, which brings a special iconographic status to the poet's "moon landscapes". Paul Verlaine, in his poetic nocturnes, reveals the polyvalent connections between word and painting as well as word and music at all levels of his poetic text. This paper delves into recently applied strategies of creating new water areas and modifying the existing ones as a part of the transformation processes of post-industrial territories. It proves that while the pursuit for unique architectural and urban space values remains an important factor contributing to such modifications, they may also play an important role in reclaiming ecological systems continuity. On the basis of theoretical surveys, in-field analyses, comparative studies and study projects, this paper proves that the modification of the water borders, including creating new water lines, reservoirs or passages may contribute significantly to the quality of the landscape. While this issue is being discussed in the context of vast regional post-industrial transformations, it remains mainly unnoticed when conversions are undertaken in an urban setting. Even on a relatively small urban post-industrial parcel the creative and consequent interplay between and the natural and the built may be arranged. While properly defined, it may contribute to the development of new ecological connections or restoration of existing ones. As it stands, new water areas play a significant role in achieving that goal, while also functioning as storm water reservoirs or parts of water management systems. These findings may produce an important change in scientific thinking and practice, introducing new issues to the emerging interpretation of urban space in the category of landscape. They will also give a set of strong arguments to architects who tend to introduce water in their concepts for the post-industrial territories' transformations and would be willing to broaden their motivations exposing ecological values. The research into structural changes in national languages has been conducted on the basis of three languages (German, French and Russian). The results demonstrate that the expansion of anglicisms in the system of each language under consideration has been proved in all spheres of speech activity of national communities: from elementary verbal means to complex speech structures. While the English language penetrates the German and French languages more or less smoothly due to their common origin, the process of incorporation of anglicisms into the Russian language, that does not have "blood kinship" with English has a negative effect on the language structure integrity of the Russian language and contributes to the loss of its expressiveness. Thus, the process of penetration of anglicisms into national languages leads to obvious structural changes in the national languages, which has a negative effect on the whole system of the national language and undermines the national traditions of verbal communication approved and used by a national community. Substituting foreign verbal means, including word and word combinations, grammar rules, word order, for the native ones leads to weakening the immunity of the national language consciousness in general. Under the unreasonable expansion of anglicisms national cultural traditions are likely to sink into oblivion, as the language spoken by an ethnic community is the basis of its culture. It would be fair to say that the English language suffers the negative effect of this process as well. Its system is deteriorating because the meanings of English borrowings have to undergo changes too while adapting to the process of semantic assimilation of English lexis and constructions by other languages in accordance with the rules of word formation and grammar constructions of those languages. Thus, it is time to study and analyze the effects of globalization on national languages and cultures and to start elaborating legal acts in order to protect national languages at the governmental level. This work aims to evaluate histomorphometric quantification by synchrotron radiation computed microto-mography in bones of human and rat specimens. Bones specimens are classified as normal and pathological (for human samples) and irradiated and non-irradiated samples (for rat ones). Human bones are specimens which were affected by some injury, or not. Rat bones are specimens which were irradiated, simulating radiotherapy procedures, or not. Images were obtained on SYRMEP beamline at the Elettra Synchrotron Laboratory in Trieste, Italy. The system generated 14 μm tomographic images. The quantification of bone structures were performed directly by the 3D rendered images using a home-made software. In the field of automated facial identification, relevant facial information are not always available (disguises, poor spatial orientation, distance, etc.). As a consequence, human perception performance decreases. However, the "whole person" can provide useful information. In the present study, we determine the way by which a person is visually explored, in order to identify a potential chronology in visual exploration. We also investigate the consequence of increasing the distance between the observer and the target person, since in this situation identification becomes more 'global' due to less processing possible for the individual features of the face. Results showed that the spontaneous perceptual strategy evolves with distance: the more distance increases, the more the interest in the person decreases, which is observed both for the body and face. We describe some facts in physics which go up to the modern string theory and the related concepts in algebraic geometry. One of the techniques that make up the training of future specialists in the field of agriculture, medicine and ecology to obtain a second diploma, "Translator of special texts". Creation of a student video in a foreign language is carried out according to the project methodology on the basis of some traditional cultural component - in this case - the image of "La petite robe noire" in the culture of France, becoming in our project a designer decoration of the interior made of black chrysanthemums. Regular use of this form of work in extracurricular activities provides a significant increase in the level of proficiency in translation skills at the beginner level. Seven stages of project implementation are discussed. Due to increased internal motivation, the level of independence of students participating in the project is increasing; skills and abilities of independent application of acquired knowledge in new situations are formed; students acquire the ability to get expert help from fellow experts in various fields, in our case, in the field of video creation techniques. Each develops his/her own ways of memorizing words, develops his mental skills, techniques of working with text, etc. Students realize the professional importance of owning such a complex practical skill as translation, to enhance employability in the labor market. We present a novel approach for discovering word categories, sets of words sharing a significant aspect of distributional context. We determine symmetric similarity of word pair, lexical category is then created based on graph-partitioning method. We train our model on a corpus of child-directed speech from CHILDES and show that the model successful learns word categories. Furthermore, a number of different measures have been proposed for evaluating computational models of category acquisition. We present the regional professional network to support the Renal Epidemiology Information Network (REIN) registry in maintaining high quality data production and information analyses in Ile-De-France region. The network is based on a long term partnership between the nephrologists and a regional methodology support unit. It integrates clinical research assistants for data quality control.
