The article presents a study which examined the morpological structure of two species of Tituacia Walker collected using light traps in China. These Tituacia species include the T. deviella Walker and T. gracilis Li. The study uses an Olympus SZX7 stereomicroscope in examining the external characters of Tituacia adults. Species of Tituacia were described as having a strong gnathos and expanded valva. Several images depicting the male and female genitalia of the adults are also offered.

This research article presents the adaption of the harmony annealing algorithm for solving timetabling problems, with particular focus on the curriculum-based course timetabling that formed part of the competition track 3 of the 2nd International Timetabling Competition in 2007 (ITC-2007). An attempt to solve these problems was made via an approach broken down into two parts; first, constructive algorithm with saturation degree approach was used to ensure a feasible solution, where the hard constraints are satisfied. Secondly, Harmony annealing algorithm was used to further improve the results obtained. The algorithm produced results that were not comparatively better than those previously known as best solution. With proper modification in terms of the approach in this algorithm would make the algorithm perform better on curriculum-based course timetabling. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]

Quality of teaching is influenced by many factors. On several of them was focused a research which aim was to evaluate current state of computer science/informatics teaching at the upper secondary school level (ISCED 3) in Slovakia (SK), Czech Republic (CZ) and Belgium (BE). Following the findings of the research, significant weaknesses and strengths of informatics teaching in these countries were identified. A common weakness is unsufficient quality of textbooks. Further weakneasses are deficits in attractiveness of the used tasks (SK), attractiveness of teachers`presentations of new material, low engagement of students in presentations of new material and task solving (CZ), low level of engagement of students in tasks covered in class (BE). As strengths were identified attractive methods of new material presentations (SK) and clarity of teachers`presentations of new material (CZ, BE).
