Water is one of the world's most important compounds. It is a major concern for developing countries like India to deal with water contamination and pollution. A turning point has been reached in the debate over polluting our waterways and ecosystems. Changing land use and human interference in the environment have had a devastating effect on the water resources of this region is required to conduct a groundwater study on the KrishnaRiver bank before moving on to examine the relationship between urban land use and groundwater in the next phase. Hydrogeological suitability, land availability and access, closeness to villages and the size of their populations, andelectric power supply were all considered while choosing a location. Samples of river and RBF well water was collected for more than a year, and a variety of physical, chemical, and biological properties were investigated. Finally, an impact evaluation must take into account the interaction between urban development and groundwater resources. The findings of this research may serve as a useful tool for water resource management, planning, and policy formulation in the developing megacity of Vijayawada. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
