To understand the ecological system, it is of great significance to explore the decomposition activities of fungi and the competition and symbiotic relationship between various fungi during the decomposition. In this paper, the factors related to fungal decomposition are identified, and the growth rate model, decomposition rate model, interspecific competition dynamics model, and system decomposition rate model are established, respectively. Then the growth rate and decomposition rate of 37 different fungi are calculated. These data are then applied to interspecific competition models to get the short-term and long-term fungal interactions. Moreover, the disturbance on the environment parameter is introduced to observe the effect of temperature and humidity changes on the number of fungal populations. On the other hand, the temperature, humidity, and the number of fungus species are adjusted to evaluate the importance and role of fungal diversity. Furthermore, the change in the decomposition rate of the system is presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
