Abstract
The article presents information on the October 1967 meeting of the North Louisiana Historical Association. The meeting featured a paper by Dr. William Y. Thompson that examined the life of Robert Toombs, a laywer and businessman who served as a member of the Confederacy and was often a critic of Confederate President Jefferson Davis.
