Current healthcare industries are more focusing on quality, efficiency, and safety. Nursing information systems are among the key components of healthcare information systems; they can help nurses to use data more effectively while managing their nursing activities, allowing them to improve patient care and develop their knowledge. According to clinical various needs and various hospitals, so as to develop a flexible Nursing Information System, this study based on the MVC, Object-Oriented Programming is used to develop the web interface, and web service is used to exchange data with HIS. This design and implements a flexible Nursing Information System which is applied and summarized clinically on the function of acquiring clinical data from the different clinical requirements and showing the web pages and different kinds of forms from the device browser. Under the software development environment of high variability, high complexity, and high customization in the medical industry, a scalable and maintainable nursing information system is realized through the MVC architecture and the Master-Detail data table design, which can meet the needs of different organizations. Spend any time on the web and you will likely be prompted with a disclosure about cookies. The purpose of this exploratory study is to address the readability of cookie policies by examining a sample of popular social media websites operating in the United States. Flesch Reading Ease index and Flesch‐Kincaid Grade Level were used to assess the readability of select social media cookie policies. The results of this study suggest that the cookie policies of these sites are incongruous with the readability requirements for the average U.S. adult. Opportunities for future research to address questions related to coherence as well as the use, function, and purpose of cookies are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Given the importance of websites to hotels in this Internet era, this study aims to address the readability level of hotel websites in China using two popular readability formulas. In this study, the texts of hotel introductory pages on their English websites were extracted from the official websites of hotels and then analyzed for their readability. The result confirms that most of the English introductions in hotel websites are written at a level higher than the standard, even among hotels with international brands. The majority of websites require readers to have at least 13 years of schooling, which is not in accordance with the real situation of hotel customers. No significant differences were identified in hotels with divergent types in terms of the readability. The finding also suggests that practitioners should properly deploy a readability tool to improve the quality of their websites. The results complement the website evaluation studies in hospitality given the limited attention on readability level in previous studies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As an increasing important source of information and knowledge, social questioning and answering sites (social Q&A) have attracted significant attention from industry and academia, as they address the challenge of evaluating and predicting the quality of answers on such sites. However, few previous studies examined the answer quality by considering knowledge domains or topics as a potential factor. To fill this gap, a model consisting of 24 textual and non-textual features of answers was developed in this study to evaluate and predict answer quality for social Q&A, and the model was applied to identify and compare useful features for predicting high-quality answers across four knowledge domains, including science, technology, art, and recreation. The findings indicate that review and user features are the most powerful indicators of high-quality answers regardless of knowledge domains, while the usefulness of textual features (length, structure, and writing style) varies across different knowledge domains. In the future, the findings could be applied to automatically assessing answer quality and quality control in social Q&A. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
