Abstract
The article discusses the highlights of the 33rd International Vienna Motor Symposium held in Vienna, Austria on April 26 and 27, 2012. The event focused on developments in automotive engineering and future trends. Among the lecturers who presented their technical papers that focus on new engines, components and vehicles are G. Brasseur, B. Geringer and G. Hohenberg.
Information about several papers discussed at the 29th International Vienna Motor Symposium in Vienna, Austria is presented. Topics include the emergence of Russia as a new market for the automotive engineering industry and the commitment of General Motors Corp. to make a contribution to the sustainability of energy systems. The symposium featured several industry professionals and executives including T. G. Stephens of General Motors and Dr. C. Trapp of Ricardo Deutschland GmbH.
