Summary: The comparison between methods, evaluation of portal hypertension and many other questions are still open issues in liver elastography. New elastographic applications are under evaluation and close to being used in clinical practice. Strain imaging has been incorporated into many disciplines and EFSUMB guidelines are under preparation. More research is necessary for improved evidence for clinical applications in daily practice. The Special Issue published papers on recent advances in development and application of Ultrasound Elastography.

Summary: This book collects recent research in the field of care for neurodevelopmental disorders, emphasizing transdisciplinary work in clinical, educational and family contexts. It presents an opportunity to learn about the impact of participation on children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders. Mainly, new therapeutic approaches are presented in children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, or motor coordination disorders.

Summary: "ME/CFS: Causes, Clinical Features and Diagnosis" addresses the early stages of ME/CFS and underlying predisposing factors. It considers the plight of the individual patient, and also the impact of the illness on society as a whole, which is considerable, in terms of both costs and social disruption. Patients and their families and carers frequently experience discrimination and difficulties accessing care. This volume will be of particular interest to those undertaking scientific research and those providing clinical care for ME/CFS patients, as well as to social policy analysts, policy makers and governments, and specialists in social research and medical education. There is a major focus on shortcomings in terms of medical education, resulting in considerable gaps in knowledge and understanding of the condition among many doctors. International comparisons indicate that these problems are encountered in many countries. This is particularly topical at a time when Long Covid-19 has moved post-viral syndromes to the forefront of the political agenda, and confronted society with new challenges in this area on a hitherto unprecedented scale. The volume addresses the many points of similarity between Long Covid-19 and ME/CFS. Mitigation of the illness is also addressed, through espousal of a more patient-centred approach to care, and through consideration of the scope for prevention. Sixty-nine authors from seventeen European countries, and from Canada and the USA have contributed to this volume, which is a truly international collaboration.

Summary: There has been much speculation about a possible antibiotic Armageddon; this would be the result of having untreatable post-operative infections, and similarly untreatable complications after chemotherapy. The now famous "O'Neill Report" (https://amr-review.org/) suggests that more people could die from resistant bacterial infections by 2050 than from cancer. We are still learning about all the subtle drivers of antibiotic resistance, and realizing that we need a single "whole of health" co-ordinated policy. We ingest what we sometimes feed to animals. There do not seem to be any new classes of antibiotics on our horizon. Perhaps something that has been around "forever" will come to our rescue-bacteriophages! Nevertheless, we have to do things differently, use antibiotics appropriately, for the correct indication, for the correct duration and with the correct dose, and with that, practice good antibiotic stewardship. Whilst by no means comprehensive, this book does cover some of the many topics of antibiotic stewardship. It also addresses some of the older antibiotics, some new combinations, and even some new agents. Last, and by no means least, there are two excellent articles on bacteriophages.
7. An Implementation Strategy of Evidence-Based Application Lifecycle Management.

- Abstract
Application lifecycle management (ALM) facilitate and integrate facilitate and integrate requirements management, architecture, coding, testing, tracking, and release management. Process automation and seamless traceability among tools are getting important. In this paper, we suggest new approach to achieve the seamless traceability and process automation. For these features, knowledge formalization is critical. Evidence-based medicine is good reference architecture to ALM2. Software Engineering ontology is powerful solution to semantic gap between tools and guideline-based process execution environment can be practical solution to process automation. 8. What Properties Make Scenarios Useful in Design for Usability?
- Author
-
Go, Kentaro
- Abstract
As described herein, we propose heuristics of scenario for designing usable products. From a structural viewpoint, a similarity exists between the definition of usability in ISO 9241-11 and the concept of scenario for designing a product, which suggests what elements a scenario should include and how designers should incorporate it into a human-centered design process. Particularly, this paper presents the argument that a scenario should include what a user accomplishes, sees, hears, and thinks, and how the user does them so that designers become capable of evaluating the effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction of goal achievement from a usability perspective. 9. Assistive Tools to Reach European Accessibility Web Standards.
- Author

- Abstract
People with disabilities can use assistive technology to browse the Internet, but web sites must respect WCAG recommendations in order to be easily visited. Creating accessible web sites can be a difficult task for small communities because web sites are sometimes managed by beginner webmasters. We have developed tools for helping them to reach accessibility compliance. It can be used to create or modify a web site in order to reach, step-by-step, a better level of accessibility. It is designed to assess the compliance to HTML, CSS and WCAG specifications. Our tool integrates the UWEM specifications published by the WAB Cluster for harmonizing assessment methods in Europe.
