This paper presents a method to translate a proof in an extensional version of the Calculus of Constructions into a proof in the Calculus of Inductive Constructions extended with a few axioms. This chapter presents an excerpt from an article about the 1871 Camp Grant Massacre in Arizona, which appeared in the June 29 and July 1, 1879 issues of Arizona Daily Star. From January 1 to April 30, 1871, when the Camp Grant massacre took place, every page of the history of southern Arizona is written in the blood of her people, who better than anyone else knew the nature of the Apaches. The record of the month of February 1871 is so replete with robbery and murder that to particularize would be an endless undertaking.
