The article provides information on the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML) organization. Part of the organization's objective are promoting the activities of music libraries, archives, and documentation centers and strengthening the cooperation among its members, and promoting the availability of all publications and documents related to music. It is compose of 2,000 members, with Massimo Gentili-Tedeschi as president, James P. Cassaro and Theodore M. Finney as the vice presidents, and has five professional branches that includes in Washington, France, Denmark, and Berlin and Koln of Germany.
